I swan every week in the winter! The apartments are mostly upscale and have stone counters and nice finishing. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, all your appliances, and a nice porch. Large closet with the base unit. I do wish they could have put speed bumps in the property to cut down on the speeders. Overall a nice place to live. The one thing that has surprised me the most is how kind and thoughtful the leasing office is. Recently, my dog jumped off the second-floor balcony at my apartment and requires surgery on both front legs. The staff heard about what happened and went out of their way to get him a bunch of treats and toys. It truly meant so much to me that they would go above and beyond like that for both me and my dog. I really appreciate how caring and personable the staff is. It's those little things that make a big difference and make this place feel like home.

The excessive barking and high energy attacks towards the glass doors as you walk by, whenever ANYONE (staff, delivery people, neighbors, visitors) walks by, and it's a ground level apartment facing a huge parking lot with multiple storage units... it's going to break through one day. We are literally afraid for our safety, our neighbors and our own leashed dog's safety with a neighbor who continues to let his dog run free when it displays this behavior all the time, and the dog will run up to you. The dog isn't even collared. There has been 0 change from this neighbor, and an extreme lack of communication / concern by management. It should be a concern for management when you feel unsafe walking past a neighbor's door. We also felt tricked into moving in; apparently a 2* bathroom is not a 2nd bathroom. And the unit was hardly turned over and was dirty on arrival. Paint chipping everywhere... feels like the landlord special but worse.

This cost us about $2200 for rent, $100-150 for utils including garbage and admin fees and $100-150 for electricity. If you were one day late on payment (which happened to us due to a mix up with the automatic payments) they immediately put a letter demanding rent on your door at 5 PM that day, rather than even sending a reminder email. Our bills came out to $2500+ every month for a one bedroom apartment that was mediocre at best, and where you could hear the sound of the highway outside. They seem to pool electric bills, and even after we moved out, I got charged a $75 bill when I forgot to cancel electric although we turned the cooling off and hadn't been there for a month! It has a very corporate feel to the management and we were anxious to get out. Definitely one of the more bland and humorless rental experiences we've had. Residents also leave doggie bags out or don't pick up after their pups. Saving grace was the prompt and very kind maintenance folks, who responded immediately to any concerns, and access to trails near the property. Glad we got away!

This is reflective of the level of investment management has in the well-being of their residents and apartment facilities. You will need to advocate, beg, and plead for basic utilities. You pay 25 dollars for valet trash pick up and most of the time they skip the building or leave peoples trash in the hallways. Elevators are either getting maintenance on and if they are working they are disgusting, snot, hand prints and dog urine most of the time. Hallways never get cleaned just gets sprayed with cleaning spray to mask the smell and a lot of urine stains. Robert Sheppard "Bobby" works with the leasing team very very inappropriate and unprofessional with my girlfriend on the phone blocked her number from the Camden phone list. He has laughed at my girlfriend over the phone and hung up on her. We also had been sexually harassed by a man at the dog park and Camden did absolutely nothing about the situation just had a meeting with us telling us we shouldn't have defended ourselves basically. The appliances inside our okay. The vanity in the bathroom was super chipped, the floors were scratched up, the kitchen counters were super cracked, and the garbage disposal smelled like fish. After barn swallow nesting this spring, they not only pressure washed our porch to get rid of all the bird poo, they also put up netting so the birds wouldn't be able to come back!! The community spaces and grounds are well-kept and clean every time we use them (from the gym to the pool to the mailroom​). Overall, just an excellent community to call home!

When I moved in last month, the interaction with the leasing consultants reminded me of the term "love-bombing" or the honeymoon phase. Now that the honeymoon is over, the agents acting on behalf of Traditions in Lafayette have shown their TRUE COLORS. (no pun intended). FIRST, last Friday (9-5-25) I was the victim of verbal harassment in the common area by one of the residents and when I informed the leasing office in writing (email), I was not provided the opportunity to discuss the incident in person with the senior leasing agent (Torrie Sanders), whereas she had TWO OCCASIONS in the last 48 hours to follow up with me about the incident and give me assurances that my safety was TRADITIONS primary concern AND SHE DID NOT. I notified Lafayette Police Dept. and Officer Mayr telephoned me in response to my online report of the harassing incident to make sure that I felt safe and to inform me to contact the police department if there is any repeated harassing incidents by this un-named resident. On Wed. 9-10-25, my right to privacy was invaded by the maintenance team that was conducting their ANNUAL maintenance repair check. I have only been living at Traditions for 6 weeks, how much repair could possibly be needed after only 6 weeks of reasonable wear & tear. (That was rhetorical) Furthermore, the maintenance tech (PARL) unlocked my front door and poked his head in and said, "is anybody home?" I was just coming out of the shower and I was naked and I said "HEY . . . I am not dressed!"
