I would like to preface this by saying I typically only give great reviews on Yelp. Last night was a mess. Jon picked us up at a restaurant across from Acrisure on time and we had Chairman's Club access so VIP drop off was easy. The pickup, TERRIBLE. First, any good driver knows there will be lines and to station themselves near the arena. He could have waited in VIP parking. Instead he chose to go home to Palm Springs and asked us to text a half hour before we wanted pickup (which we did). He said he never got the text until the "second" text came through and by then the three of us were all outside in 48 degree weather. He sat in the line of traffic on Varner for at least 15-20 minutes and we started walking that way. We finally got onto Varner where he made a U-turn (and almost got creamed) and picked us up. He did say he was sorry for the "mix up". No mixup--just screwed up. I paid him his $200 but wasn't happy about it. Do not recommend. read more

My experience with Jon of Avalon Luxury Transport was outstanding. He is a true professional. I found him to be very friendly, communicative, punctual and he really cares about his customers! He not only took me to my resort from the airport, but after check in, took me to my specific building where my villa was located! On my return ride with Jon, he picked me up in front of my building and was willing to take some family pictures before departing. Over a month ago I had arranged to have my mother moved from a terrible facility to her home. She required gurney transportation due to a recent spinal surgery; however, the morning of, her initial transport was cancelled due to Covid. I had just flown in from Texas and did not have any additional family or friends who could assist. I contacted every company within hi and low desert to no avail and resided that my only option was to carefully place my mother in my rental vehicle. Even so, I knew I would still need help lifting and moving her. In that moment, I received a return call from another transportation company who was not available but connected me with Jon. (Avalon was not yet listed on Yelp and; therefore, did not populate in my search results.) Jon drove nearly 2 hours up to the hi-desert to help us. A few of the nursing staff that had been nice during my mother's stay helped get her into the vehicle and instructed us on how to best maneuver her. Jon followed us to my mother's and was so careful in assisting removing her from the vehicle and getting her into her home which included a small flight of steps. He offered to help with anything else we might need, yet even after telling him no, he still stayed and helped me get the swamp cooler on. (We don't have those in Texas and I was completely unfamiliar with them.) He didn't leave until he knew we were okay. I had just pulled my mother out of a dire situation and the kindness he showed us will never be forgotten. I didn't know how little time I had left with my mom and we had experienced so many rude and terrible people these past few months. I'm so grateful for the compassion Jon showed us, and notably my mother. Granted the circumstances were unique, it goes without saying Jon is an amazing person who goes above and beyond for his clients while delivering first class service. Should I come to town again and require transportation for myself, he is the first one I will call. Of Note: Due to how low to the ground my rental car was, that's what we used in transporting my mother but I did see the inside of his vehicle and I can attest to how immaculate and comfortable it looked. read more

After reading the 5 Star Reviews of Avalon Luxury Transport, I contacted the owner Jon to make a number transportation reservations for ourselves and our guests. Jon did an "outstanding" job. He was always in contact with us ahead of scheduled pick-ups, and punctual when we contacted him for return service from restaurants to our rental home. We also used his Airport Transfer Service for ourselves and our guests. I will use Jon again next year when we return to PS and would highly recommend him for any Transportation needs. read more

I highly recommend Jon at Avalon transport. It was the first time we used him and we were 100% satisfied with the whole experience. Booking was easy. Jon responds quickly to inquiries on the website and also to subsequent texts. His pricing is competitive. We were going to have to call an Uber or Lyft, but our past experiences with Uber were not satisfactory. Sometimes Uber is just too busy and you can not even get someone to pick you up. We needed a ride from Palm Springs airport to La Quinta. Jon took our flight info and was waiting for us upon our arrival. His car was luxurious and very clean. Jon was very friendly and personable.
