I came in for their Easter special. They were doing an Easter giveaway where you could pick an egg and keep the jewelry inside. Since this was a free event, I didn't expect much from the prizes, but there were some good prizes to be one. I unfortunately didn't get any of the good prizes but my youngest loved the rings that I won. The employees here seem friendly though there seemed to be a little bit of mixed information, however, that wasn't a big deal. I did end up buying some earrings for $12. I found them on Amazon for the same price so I would say it was a good value. It's a good neighborhood store and they seem to do lots of events so if you're in the area I would recommend checking them out. read more

Dropped off a watch in 2023 that I purchased on eBay that stopped ticking. Asked if they would replace battery and $18 was quoted and about 3 days to get the work done. Upon picking it up the jeweler said he opened up the case and he got oil all over him and his workbench. He returned the watch and parts to me and still charged me $18 and didn't include the battery. No apology just you owe me $18. I did some research and some watch collectors put silicon oil in their cases to preserve workings, since this was a quartz movement I thought it was toast. Fast forward 2 years and I was digging through my junk drawer and found the parts bag. I had just purchased a lot of batteries for my wife's watch so I popped one in and it started ticking. I've always came here to get my jewelry repaired and they did a wonderful job. I've seen them taken other peoples pieces and fixed it right away with no charge as well if it was very easy fix. I also recently had an experience where I wanted to redesign a piece of jewelry that I owned. There was a mishap in the communication of the final product but the consult with Tiffany was very easy. She provided options and guidance on suggestions on what we could do. When the piece was picked up, I mentioned one item isn't as expected and then they accepted to rectify. The timing was longer than expected but I was in no rush. Had I been, I probably would be a little frustrated. After they let me know to come in, Tiffany surprised me and kindly provided additional stones to the piece that needed updating to what I desired. The timeline was longer again but I already accounted for this either because I think they are busy or delivery of their vendors. I think a little improvement on communication between them and a client could really help this place. As said, I do and will come back here for repairs and redesigning. Another suggestion is to confirm every thing you want and communicate that so everyone is in the same page. read more

My fiancé and I custom made an absolutely beautiful engagement ring with the help of Tiffany; little did we know that the ring was extremely brittle and "delicate". At no point in the customization process was it explained that rose gold is more malleable and may be prone to bending. After having 3 diamonds falling out and continued accusations of me abusing my ring, we took the ring to another jeweler for an opinion. The jeweler said the following: the center stone is "floating on air" because 3 of 4 prongs aren't set properly; the 2mm band is too thin and should be at least 2.4mm for 2mm diamonds; and one of the lost diamonds that were replaced is "cheap" and already chipped. I am absolutely appalled by the poor customer service and quality of craftsmanship toward a ring I should be able to wear for a lifetime. read more

Stay away from Avalon Park jewelers and their dishonest, shady owner Tiffany Bayley. Her customer service is awful. She had my wife's engagement ring for multiple months to fix a cracked diamond. We dropped it off and received no updates. We attempted to call and our calls were not answered nor returned. I had to go in person to just speak with someone to get answers. Tiffany was not there when I went and they had no record of receiving the ring. This is unacceptable. It got to the point we had to get our attorney involved and threaten a lawsuit. After sending a letter from our lawyer, the ring is magically fixed. Take my advice, this lady is shady and her customer service is probably the worst I have seen. read more

Came here looking for wedding rings after searching at three other local stores. Tiffany greeted us and had a wide selection to show off. Surprisingly, her selection of men's rings was at least twice the size of any of the other stores we had checked previously. Lots of different styles to look through. I was on the fence between a traditional gold band and something of a mix between white gold and yellow gold but I didn't find anything that was amazing just a few inspiring pieces. And my (now) wife had a custom made engagement ring so we were also trying to find something to match that or at least fit smoothly with it. Tiffany was very friendly and talkative as we went over our concerns and ideas for what we liked. Ultimately we settled on getting rings custom made in the store. Thus began the process of measuring our fingers and then taking measurements for the ring style we wanted. She was almost too communicative with us during the entire process. We had 3D printed models to try on from her, then a rough fit of the unfinished pieces, and finally the finished pieces. At every step of the way she told us we could make any changes we wanted and she was careful to fit the wedding band for my wife's ring in line with the engagement ring she already. This did require her to keep the ring on site on two occasions but it always came back clean and perfect in a relative short amount of time. The rings are gorgeous and we have gotten nothing but compliments on them so far. Not having worn rings myself, and being fidgeting during the trials, I am so happy with the comfortable fit of this ring. It just feels so natural and the style clean and exactly what I was looking for. My wife feels the same about her ring. read more

A message I forwarded to the owner... Horrible experience.... I very taken aback by your comments about my Invicta watch collection. I listened quite intently to your position on the product and the adjectives you used to describe my collection. As you spoke, I wondered if you realized what you were doing and/or saying. My reasoning for wonder, well..., I am a customer. You voiced a very negative opinion of a product, of which, your customer is petitioning service. As well, you were quite belligerent and animated about the items, and it was all very negative. And you did this as the customer stood less than 5 feet away from you. One of the questions I mentally pondered as you spoke, "would I, or even could I, make such statement about my customers items in MY place of business?" The answer...NO!!!! There is no way I could make such derogatory and animated statements about an item a customer is petitioning service and expect them to be happy about it. This is one very quick and easy way to drive away a customer. You used words like "crap, junk, and worthless" in the description of my watches. They belong to ME, your CUSTOMER! It doesn't matter that YOU feel the items are worthless. How would you feel being in an establishment that treated you in that manner. I surmise you'd take your business elsewhere, and not return for services from that vendor. Whatever your personal feelings are relative to a product, you keep that crap to yourself. I bet you have a series of T.V.'s in your house. Each have absolutely little to NO value. And if they do have any value, it's so little, buying a new one would be more cost effective than repairing them. But it's not the T.V. repairman's place to belittle the items you own, or you for owning them. My point, keep your opinions and your mouth shut. read more

This was not my best experience at a jeweler. I felt that if the store communicated more and set better expectations to the customer, I would have given a better review. Also, the price they initially quoted was not the same price they asked for during checkout. Whether it was a miscommunication or they tried to overcharge us, it just made for a bad experience. Needed to get my watch adjusted ASAP and after 2 hours of jumping store to store to either be told it'll be a day or so out because they are busy or being looked at like my watch was too cheap for them which i even said i understand the watch is not expensive or high end and by no means was trying to act like it was but i just need it adjusted i didn't mind a fee. I came to Avalon Park Jewelers right after I got engaged. I absolutely LOVED my ring, but it was a little too big. I also though I could slightly hear the main stone rattle (like it was loose). My fiance bought the ring from his jeweler in Atlanta, but I wanted it fixed immediately so I could wear it and not be afraid of it falling off. I googled jewelers in my area and Avalon Jewelers seemed nice and I love the Avalon Park area. When I walked in an assistant came over and asked me what I needed. I told her about resizing my ring and fixing the rattle. I told her the original jeweler had his signature on the band of the ring and to make sure resizing and "squish" the signature. The owner of the store over heard me and exclaimed, "should I put my signature on there too when I'm done with it?" I found this statement to be wildly unprofessional and extremely rude. When I came back to pick up my ring it was still a little too big, which was okay because any smaller would have been too small (I eventually got a ring guard which makes it fit just right). However, the stone rattled WAY more than before, to the point I couldn't wear the ring because I thought the stone would fall out and the signature looked awful (not to mention the tiny diamond beside the signature was missing). Sadly, I didn't realize this until after we had left and had to overnight the right to the original jeweler in Atlanta. I do not recommend Avalon Park jewelers and certainly wouldn't trust them with anymore sentimental pieces. read more
