I'm not even sure where to begin. I want to give a big thank you to my nurses Melanie, Annette, Hakop, and Karis (sorry for any misspelling.) checking in for my surgery (8/23/19) was almost effortless. Front desk was very helpful. Even though I was there slightly early, they took me down to the area where they prep you for surgery after only about 5 minutes. There, I was greeted by Melanie. Even though I was bawling my eyes out from fear, she made me laugh, and assured me everything was going to be ok. After my surgery, I was greeted by Melanie, and soon after, Annette. They were both, once again, very helpful. I was in excruciating pain, and they were very sympathetic about it. They didn't make me feel like I was just wining or complaining. They showed me genuine care, and were very good at checking on me. The overnight nurses, Karis and Hakop, were just as phenomenal. They were very patient, very helpful, and answered all of my questions when I had them. They were always on time with me giving me my medication, and we even had great conversation. Thank you Avalon, you have employed AMAZING people. I couldn't have asked for better nurses. read more

Not recommended I pay for my COVID 19 test cuz I need it the results fast and up to this time haven't recibe anything and I call and call and not one has me answer for it they keep saying that they would resend them again. DONT COME HERE!!! They would just take ur money! read more

The surgery center was clean, modern and comfortable. I loved the device they have that blows warm air between the blankets....very comfy. The staff was exceptionally friendly and caring. Anthony started an IV with no pain and no bruises. Dr. Schmidt, the anesthesiologist, was great. Dr Fausett has the best bedside manner. Top notch care. read more

I had a surgery at this facility yesterday 6/8/2020. It was the absolute most pleasant experience. The facility is well maintained, clean and beautiful. The staff is amazing and I can't say it enough. They treated me with so much kindness and they are all so caring. Sophia the manager is great and had great communication with patients. My nurse was Audrinae (not sure if that's how her name is spelled) super sweet nurse so kind and explained the entire process to me. The anesthesiologist (I forgot her name ) was also super kind and extremely sweet. Josh one of the other nurses was great too super friendly. I have never been treated with such kindness at a medical facility. These people are great and deserve more than 5 stars! read more

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother in law who was treated by Dr. Maxim Moradian. She was referred to him by her chiropractor due to having severe hip pain. She received a steroid injection, which helped reduced her pain significantly. She wanted me to write his review, because she did not want the kindness and professionalism of the Dr. and support staff to go unnoticed. She stated that the staff was very caring and paid attention to her needs. She even received a follow up call to see how she was doing the following day. Made an account just to share my great experience. The entire staff was very pleasant and helped me feel at ease. I don't remember the name of the nurse that took care of me, but she was an angel. Constantly checked on me while I was waiting for surgery, provided several blankets because I was switching from hot to cold, and she even massaged my hand when I started panicking when the needles came out. I actually feel bad that I don't remember her name, but the whole day was stressful for me. I HIGHLY recommend this place to any and everyone who has to undergo surgery. This place is amazing. I was so nervous going in for a pain management procedure. The whole surgical team took their time to put me at ease. They are nice, funny and professional. The facility is super clean and organized. Pain Management physician Dr Maxim Moradian,is very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole procedure. I had surgery yesterday at this location and I was so so impressed! From the moment I walked in the receptionist was very welcoming and chit chatted with me. I was taken back to the waiting area where they prepare you and I had Melody (hope I'm spelling it correct) as my nurse and OMG let me tell you she is sooo sweet! She made sure I was comfortable, explained every thing that was going on and kept me updated when they were running a little behind. Honestly nurses make such a huge difference to a patient when you are nervous and scared about having a surgery. My anesthesiologists was Amy and she was also so sweet, she was making jokes and had me cracking up. I even received a text from her last night making sure I was feeling ok. I have honestly never felt so at ease in any medical facility as I did there. read more

Dr. Reagan performed a discectomy of my L5-S1 at the Avalon Surgery Center 04/10/2019, after 2 years of suffering from sciatic pain due to a 10 mm protrusion. He not only did a great job but I was impressed by the facility in itself. As a HealthCare Administrator, they met all of my requirements that I look for in a Healthcare facility; from quality assurance, to their kind staff, to having a clean/sterile and amiable environment I went from being anxious to calm/serene. Anthony, the head RN, was very accommodating and even checked up on me on his own terms to make sure the recovery has been going well. That to me exemplifies someone who is content and committed to their job because he goes the extra mile which is a result of a good environment. Thank you Dr. Moradian and all the staff at the Avalon Surgery Center, you are lifesavers! I recently had a baby @ Huntington Hospital and after the epidural injection had a spinal leak and horrific spinal headache. One could understand my hesitation to allow the same surgeon who performed the epidural to administer the blood patch, the recommended procedure to fix the hole in the dura caused by the injection @ Huntington Hospital. So, I contacted Dr. Moradian who performed the blood patch at the Avalon Surgery Center guided by X-Ray which reduces the odds another tear could happen, working me into the schedule so I could get relief and be home with my newborn. The staff were all amazing, from the front desk having all paperwork ready so I didn't have to wait, to the Physician Assistant who took care of making me comfortable to Anthony in making sure every need was met before & after the surgery. I would not hesitate to recommend Avalon Surgery Center to anyone in need of a top notch, modern, clean facility with terrific staff & exceptional physicians as well as use them again in the future for any of my surgical needs. I had my surgery at this Center in February and I have to say I loved their service. From the beginning to end they were welcoming, comforting, and a very super clean facility. I am comparing to a few other centers and they really exceeded my expectations. My nurse assigned to me was Adrine, and she was amazing. She really helped me and took good care of me throughout the long process. One thing that I loved was the fact that they did not try to get me out of there right away after surgery. They let me wake up on my own and then helped me get dressed and when I was ready to go. Loved the place and again my Nurse Adrine was the best! The care I received at Avalon Surgery Center during my foot surgery, with Dr. Robert Joseph on November 13th was beyond AMAZING. I'm a terrible stick, bad veins, but Tony stuck me only once. I kept on telling him I was a tough one and he kept telling me not to worry, everything would be OK. He was right. Not only did he get me the first time, but I didn't even bruise. In addition to Tony's amazing touch, the staff, from the moment you walked in until I left went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. My recent experience at Avalon Surgery Center was the best surgical experience of my life. They are kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and very proud of their work and their surgery center. Dr. Elliot Hirsch was my surgeon and I can't praise his work enough! What an amazing surgeon in every way, kind, compassionate, stellar skills, and my results are better than I could have ever hoped for. The people and the facility are amazing. They really try very hard to make their patients and family members be comfortable. The entire process, from the initial sign-in to the checking out went very smoothly. My wife had hand surgery two weeks ago. She was very nervous but the team at Avalon put her at ease and gave her excellent support and care. When the procedure was over, they stayed with her during recovery, helped her get dressed and made sure she felt well enough to go home. Between family members and myself I've had experience with several surgery centers but this place is by far the nicest and best in every way. I had my surgery on a Saturday and I was literally the only patient for the day and even though the staff had to come in on a weekend they were amazing and understanding. They made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. They seem to be very attentive to not only the patients needs, but for the family that's waiting as well. Offering drinks and snacks while they were waiting and sent us home with some too because we had an hour drive. The facility itself was very nice and clean. Dr.Boghossian is amazing. I wasn't happy about needing to have surgery, but they truly made this unfortunate situation so much easier and as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend this surgery center to anyone that has the option of going there for any procedure. read more
