I am very disappointed with how move-out charges were handled at AvalonBay Thousand Oaks Plaza. I received a large bill for alleged damages, including duct and plank cleaning described as tenant-caused damage, despite no proof that these services were required beyond normal wear and tear. When I requested documentation, I was told that photographs were "not required," and AvalonBay themselves stated that the photos provided "may not reflect all areas of the apartment that were damaged or required cleaning," which undermines the validity of the claimed damages. Additionally, the cleaning invoices were dated prior to my move-out and did not list my apartment unit number, raising serious concerns about whether these charges were attributable to my unit at all. Under California Civil Code §1950.5, landlords must substantiate any claimed damages beyond normal wear and tear with proper documentation demonstrating the condition existed, that it exceeded normal wear and tear, and that it was caused by the tenant. Based on my experience, those standards were not met. I strongly recommend that future tenants thoroughly document their move-in condition with written notes, photos, and videos, carefully review the lease, and be present during the move-out inspection to protect themselves from unsupported charges. Due to how this matter was handled, I will be reporting this experience to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Future residents should document everything carefully and review move-out charges very closely. read more

I had a positive experience until it was time to move after three years of living at this location. I was greeted with assurance and smiles that all would be taken care of, and that I would receive my deposit back after a reasonable amount of time. I received instead a general bill for "damages" in the amount of 1200.00 dollars, and when I disputed this, was told that nothing could be done and the damages would stand. I'm an everyday normal person trying to live my best life, so I paid it because I'm not going to let them trash my credit. I pay my debts, but I would recommend to anyone considering this place to do the following: 1. Don't pay for the professional cleaning. 2. Insist on the walk through. 3. After not moving forward with the application, I was informed that it would take 10 days to get my deposit back. Once I "did" I only received $45.50 (app fee) and they kept $150. There is nobody who will return a call, so I had to work with my bank to try and get my money back. For management: I have an official complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and BBB, best of luck. read more

Living here has been so disappointing... it looks nice - until you move in. The apartments are very outdated and something breaks on a weekly basis. The residents are very unwelcoming and not courteous of others. Dogs are everywhere and most tenants leave them on their porches to bark day and night. I can't say enough how much I enjoy living here! I started off visiting as a guest and have since moved in myself. Rosalind is THE best. She really goes the extra mile to make the process as seamless as possible, always prompt and extremely personable. I've lived in many different areas around Los Angeles and this is by far the best living experience I've had. Many places seem to forget about you once you've moved in, but the team maintains the same attentiveness throughout. The maintenance crew Santos and Miguel are the best. If it wasn't for them it would mot be a 5 star. There service the best. I have white foam from the roof on my patio everyday I feel I should have been told about this before moving in. I can't enjoy my patio like everyone else unless I spend an hour or two to clean before use. I pay high rent here and have beautiful patio furniture and it's a mess. I think I was blind sided. I have lived in apartments for over thirty years. And, I must say, the Avalon Thousand Oaks Apts are by far the best apartments I have ever lived in. The walls are solid. I hardly hear my neighbors. I never wanted to live on the second floor, because I am so noise sensitive. But, I hardly hear anything. And even though there are pets, I only hear them when I walk outside. And, they are very well behaved. I love that management makes sure the dogs are not yappers. I truly love the people in the leasing office, the maintenance men and my neighbors. The pool is divine in the summer, they gym is great in the winter and the fact that I can walk to a health food store....Well... it's the best! Do I recommend this divine place? YES!!! read more

HEED my WARNING!!! For any dog owners! Now before I start, let me inform you all that I have NEVER written a negative yelp review, I have a bachelors degree (aka I use my brain often,) I am honest, and I have never had a dispute with any of my previous 3 landlords/apartments. - They will claim to be "pet friendly" and lure you in with a $99 security deposit, beware. The lease agreement said that only "damaged" portions of carpet be replaced. *also no mention of a black light test in lease* . If even ONE stain shows under black light they will replace it all. -Living there was a great and dandy untilllllll move out time. I know my dog had left a few stains so I was prepared to pay for the two areas and up to $550 to replace those rooms which were sectioned off by wood panels. The middle (largest portion) was perfectly fine. I had entire apartment professionally/chemically cleaned and they did a restoration treatment on entire apartment. -The apartment claims the company they use to re-carpet won't replace "just one or two bedrooms" (load of s*** for sure) so here they quoted me $1,100 just for carpet alone, that shitty tan generic apartment carpet.. ya...bringing our grand total to $1,435 - I tried to negotiate on a realistic number but Jason the manager and Kimberly just pretty much stood by as Avalon Bay performed highway robbery. Really there was nothing I could do, as I'm sure they are also in no control as minions of large corporate apartment chains like this. But I wanted to let people know with dogs or any animals that might leave stains that this was so draining, emotional, & not worth it as I work a full time job to pay their $2,400/mo rent and to be so incredibly violated by this apartment at move out was rough. I have lived here for going on five years. The staff is fantastic. Several routine issues have come up over the years, and every time Traci, the manager, has addressed them promptly and in a very courteous fashion, resolving everything as if by magic. She's absolutely fantastic, and frankly one of the reasons why I stay. Recently, some minor maintenance items arose, and I asked Luis if he could resolve these. He set an appointment, came by on time, and resolved everything quickly and perfectly. He has been by several times like that over the past several years. I have always found him to be highly competent, very professional, and a pleasure to deal with. With really good staff like this, it makes life a lot easier, and living a lot better. And then there's the gym. It's excellent. The equipment is top notch professional grade. Everything that you need for a thorough, quality workout, is there. read more

This is a true story, of a family of 5 who have endured nothing but issues during the span of our 1 year lease. This low rating has nothing to do with the maintenance workmen. They were fantastic 100% of the time and were the only pleasant part of our living experience here. When we first toured, our leasing agent showed us several units and boasted about how peaceful and quiet the complex was. We decided on a bottom floor unit. You would think for a building built only 8 years ago, that it would be pristine and well built.... Not the case. To begin with, our original upstairs neighbors were two very heavy set persons, with a small dog that they would lock in their kitchen at 6am and leave it locked in there for up to 12 hours a day... The dog would whine, cry, scratch at the gate they put up to keep it locked in. Spoke to the leasing agents on several occasions and even provided videos... Which then resulted in the neighbors leaving nasty notes on our door and eventually coming down calling my husband and I "assholes and get used to the noise" in front of our kids. They then tormented us for weeks on end with loud music, stomping,throwing stuff on the floors, etc... Leasing agents offered to let us out of our lease at our expense but also notated that their lease was expiring and they may not renew. We choose to stay thinking this was a fluke and it was just disrespectful neighbors.... The next set of neighbors were "2 quiet young women from out of state" and "it must be nice not hearing a dog anymore!" Says the leasing agent! At that point my mouth dropped and I was flabbergasted.... Not only were there more than 2 young women above us, but also 2 dogs that bark relentlessly for hours on end..... We respectfully talked with the upstairs neighbors on several occasions, who work nights, and expressed our frustration with the noise, dogs barking, doing laundry at 1, 2 am.... Although they stopped the laundry, they lock their dogs in crates while they work and they bark at the slightest noise. Upon them returning at often 10-12 or beyond at night, the dogs bark insanely the second they reach their door and they leave them in their crates to bark for a period of time before they let them out... They also are night owls and there is constant noise all hours of the night. Now, this is not necessarily the leasing offices fault, this is more of rude and disrespectful neighbors, but it does show that the quality of the building is awful. It's almost as if the builders didn't lay adequate amounts of cement in between floors of the building. We often hear our upstairs neighbors just chatting away at 2-3 in the morning. It is AWFUL. Our kids have not made it through an entire night without being woken up by noise in the year we have been here.... We have had several ant infestations, and their pest company flat out told us, that's pretty much the biggest complaint here.... ANTS! So gross. The building boasts a secured and locked building along with a secure and locked underground parking (which you have to pay extra for, parking...) however our under ground garage has now been burglarized 3 times in the last 3 months... Each time my husbands truck has been tampered with! This last time, being 1 night ago, they tried to take a construction machine that was locked to my husbands work truck.... The parking garage is often left open 80% of the time due to the office "not having enough garage openers" for the tenants who pay extra to park in the secured gated parking! Not to mention a drunken tenant in another building side swiped my husbands work truck on the property, left the property, and when confronted about it, lied about it, and fought the police when we filed a report! The driveways here are a raceway for motorcycles and cars.... You rarely see anyone ever traveling the posted 15 mile an hour speed limit.... More often then not,most travel at least 40-50, even with the speed bumps... One motor cycle in particular in another building twice a day speeds through at ridiculous speeds.... Unfortunately, police won't write a ticket for it because it's private property. If you have kids, keep them on the grass... Otherwise they will be pancakes in the driveway before you know it... What they don't tell you when you sign your lease, is that once it's up, you should expect a nearly 15-20% increase in your rent if you choose to renew for another. 12 months.... Need just an extra month? Expect to pay double your rent for that month.... Rent gouging at its finest with Avalon. Even when writing to staff that the rent increase was an excessive amount, "they could not offer a lower lease renewal rate at this time." In no way is this place worth renting for even the amount we are currently paying...It was grossly misrepresented when leased to us and has been the worst living experience we have had anywhere we have rented. Do not spend your money here. It's not valued and you aren't valued as a tenant either. read more

This is my little break down of how I felt about living at The Avalon. The Area: Very beautiful location. It sets close to the Civic Arts Plaza and close to so many restaurants. It's easy access to the freeways and in close proximity to grocery stores. You can go for a good run or walk the dogs and I wouldn't find an issue. The Price: It is Thousand Oaks/Westlake so you have to keep that in mind. You get what you pay for. Very clean and professional service from all the staff. If there is an issue with anything, all you have to do is ask. We had everything we needed for the price we paid while living there. The Amenities: 24 hour access to the Gym, a pool, a jacuzzi, washer dryer in units. I mean those are just some of the amazing things I've loved. My favorite was the new grill patio area they set up. They make sure it's clean and will assist you when you need it. The Staff: I absolutely think everyone who works there is such kind individuals. From maintenance to the leasing consultant, everyone there has had one main vision, and that's to make sure you "love where you live." Even a simple conversation makes it all worth it because they all care about what you need. If I didn't have to relocate for work, I would still have stayed here. Just don't live here. Whatever you do, just don't. They are having such a hard time getting tenants to stay or even apply that they offer things like "No security deposit and or only $100" type things. THATS HOW THEY GET YOU. We lived here for over a year, noise non stop, smoking all the time, people and kids running up and down the hallways etc. but the best part was when it came time to move (after the $2,900 in fees we had to pay their office) they did the walk through unprompted and with NO NOTICE THAT THEY WERE COMING. I even had reached out days before requesting a walk through with them. They told me everything looked good, then took two weeks to try and claim that we had pet damage on the carpets. And they are still trying to get us to pay for brand new carpets. They don't follow tenant laws for the state of California. So please listen to the reviews on here. They are VERY TRUE. This company is shady and only wants more and more money. Straight up crooks over here. 10/10 do not recommend. read more

Be careful on your move out. They will find every reason to use your deposit to re-paint the entire apartment. I lived there for one year, had the place pre-inspected before I left, had ABSOLUTELY nothing on the walls, had only three pieces of furniture and they still charged me to repaint the entire apartment! On top of all that, they had the apartment painted just prior to my moving in. The local mgmt has little or no authority to do anything. I'm not even sure why they are even there. Some absentee owner, public company owns these apartments. This is not the kind of place you want to live. The rents are very expensive. The common areas are not that great. I love living here, the property is beautifully maintained and is incredibly dog friendly. One of my favorite parts of living in this community are the amenities offered, I don't have a need for a gym membership anymore because the gym here is more than sufficient and even has a shower and steam room! The pool area is nice and there is a grill area which is great for entertaining. The apartments themselves are spacious and modern. The kitchens could be updated however there is plenty of storage space. I also love that there are high ceilings, something that most apartments lack. The maintenance team is amazing, they are so efficient and quick to respond to work requests. I've also noticed that some previous yelpers have complained about the increase in rent, however note that the cost of living in Thousand Oaks is higher than most areas in Ventura County, so you pay for what you get! read more

The reason for the low rating is not because of the maintenance team, they are great. They respond quickly and always go out of their way above and beyond. Love those guys. My complaint is with the corporate policy to raise rents ridiculously. I moved in almost a year ago. My first year leave renewal came up and they want to raise my rent $400! I was shocked. I'm already paying $2267 for a two bedroom plus about 110 extra a month for water sewer trash. Usually rent hikes are about 3-5 percent. This is closer to 20. Unbelievable. This forced me to have to move out this Sept. They said if I did a 10 month lease instead of 12, they would raise it $200 but even that is double the standard increase. I have lost trust in Avalon and won't stay to be shocked once shown when lease renewal time comes. read more

I love it here! Property is mostly well maintained* (see notes below) and I've mostly nothing but very positive things to say about this place. I don't know why some reviewers mention noise, wild animals, fleas, etc. I believe most of those reviewers, from what I read, lived on the first floor. I'm on the top floor, have a nice view, and it's great! Oh yea, and the high ceilings are really nice too. The maintenance guys are good and johnny-on-the-spot. Good luck getting that anywhere else! I use the gym a few days a week, so that saves me a gym membership not to mention the time it would take to go to some other gym. Very convenient. Rent has gone up everywhere. Mine just went up, but only 5% so I'm staying, since I looked around and couldn't find anything equivalent for less. Finally, my young son lives with me half the time and he loves it too. It's nice that we are a short bike ride to lots of fun things on T.O. Blvd., especially The Lakes shopping area with a nice little pond we can ride bikes around, with a small playground and shopping, restaurants, etc. I feel it's a very safe area for myself and most importantly my boy. All that said, they can be a bit frugal at times, especially in lieu of all the extra money coming in from the rent increases. Here's a few negatives to keep me honest. * Avalon, change the old common door locks, they're so old and worn out you have to be a lock expert to get your key to work. A real pain, especially when you have one hand full of groceries. * Get security cameras in the parking garages! Costco sells them for a couple of hundred bucks, there's no excuse. And if you really can't afford that, get some of those $10 fake one's that look real, but are just dummies with a battery powered blinking red light on them. That will keep those pesky kids out of our cars. * Some new washer machines would be nice. I've had the maintenance guys fix, then replace mine after moving in, but mine still sucks. It's stained some of my clothes from rusting parts that I've found in my wash. That's it though, just some minor complaints. No apartment is going to be PERFECT - it's an apartment for crying out loud! For anyone barking about this place, go buy a house! Oh, you can't - well then, feel free to leave and trade a few minor issues here for a few minor issues somewhere else, for about the same price. In the meantime, I'm staying here, loving it, cozy and safe up on my top floor man cave. read more

This complex is really nice. My girlfriend was stoked they have a washer/dryer in the apartment & the gym is 24 hours and has enough equipment for a typical workout fanatic. People are pretty chill and they take really good care of the grounds. It's mellow and I feel relaxed here. The maintenance engineers work hard and do a good job and whenever I go into the office they are on top of their game. I work in customer service and I know the people here make a big difference. They care about keeping the place nice and having a good relationship with the people who live here. It's definitely worth it to live here. So much better than other apartments and even a condo building I lived in. read more

Before anyone takes any of these "amazing" 5 star rating reviews seriously, take a look at the people leaving them, and then take a look at the other reviews they have left at other places. Several of them just "happened" to have left "amazing" 5 star reviews for Eaves at Avalon as well.... Right at the same time, same day as leaving nearly the same review here. A little fishy don't ya think? Inside jobs perhaps? Employees leaving the reviews to bump up the poor rating it really should have? Those sparkling 5 star reviews that are 2 brief sentences are quite comical and may have a minimal amount of truth to them. First, sure, the buildings themselves look nice, in an otherwise highly rundown, extremely low income area of Thousand Oaks (primarily section 8 housing surrounding the buildings, not to mention an elementary school directly across the street). Second, the maintenance staff is extremely courteous and they are the ONLY part of Avalon's customer service that is worth mentioning anything good about. Third, yeah, you walk into these sprawling units when they are empty during the day time and think, "Wow, These are lovely!" And they hook line and sink you.... Then you move in..... Once you move in, that's when you sit and wonder why you just made the worst decision you ever made.... If you live on a bottom floor, or a second floor, be prepared for your units to shake ridiculous amounts when laundry machines are going, and don't ever expect your neighbors above you to think about the fact that late at night it's as if an earthquake is happening in your unit at night while their laundry machines are going.... And good god let's talk about everyone's barking dogs here.... Between the echoes in the court yards into your units or it coming from the walls, it's an all day/night occurrence. And if they happen to be in the apartment above you, you can certainly hear them running above you, not so nice if you work all day and want to sleep at night. Unless you are the top floor unit, you can hear right through the ceilings at night. You can hear your upper neighbors regular conversations right through the walls at night.... If you're the type of person who likes to eavesdrop this is great for you, otherwise, it's just more noise to add to the list of stuff you hear in your "luxury" apartment. There is lots of rodents and bug issues. ((The poster that keeps posting pictures is right on target with with ants and bug issues inside the apartments themselves) Ants come in abundance and although they have pest control, it is not enough. The big oak trees are all infested with wasp balls. Always becareful under them. There is always a lot of extremely shady people walking through the grounds of the complex at night and on the weekends. There have been several break ins in the secured garages. This is what you get though for putting a "wanna be" high end complex in a low end section 8 housing area.... There is a TON of traffic Mon-Fri from 7:45-8:30 due to the elementary school being right across the street... And again from 2:15-3:15. Lots of noise, lots of traffic, lots of jaywalking, lots of craziness. Consolidated Smart Systems is a pain. And yes, Avalon makes a really nice chunk of change off every single one of us that's signs up through them for directv and Internet. The Internet is sloooow... And I found it goes down often.... If you are thinking about moving here, ask up front about the long term, what the rent increase will be when your lease is up... The true reviewers here are correct when stating the increases here are beyond absurd, nearly 25% increases.... They may sucker you in for that lower move in just to get you in, but when you get the lease renewal, you almost want to pull your hair out in disgust. There are plenty of other nicer places in Thousand Oaks, even homes for rent, that are better worth your hard earned money then here. Move out.... Do not even expect to get any portion of your move out back. No matter how perfect you leave your place. Take pictures of your unit as you left it. Sign all your papers and get copies of everything you signed as well at move out and have them sign copies of the pictures you took as well. Once you move out, no one at the building will talk to you about anything related to the unit, it all goes to corporate, so when you get your move out statement, if you have any issue, it doesn't matter. Because no one at corporate really deals with you or your issue, and the staff at the building aren't allowed to discuss the issues with you any longer. I personally think they do this on purpose so that they just throw you into collections in hopes you just pay them that extra money to make it go away... Always fight and ask for receipts, pictures, and copies of every item of work done. And have all contact done in writing and certified mail! Too much money for pretty poor quality of living and life here. Don't believe the "5 star" hype. read more

This place blows. I lived here 4 years and had they not been with the most amazing woman on the planet I would have left week 1. They turned off the fountain 3 years ago- forever so now you only hear the freeway. The cut Down/killed 2 of the biggest Oaks on the property. The truly bad part is the fact that building 35 has washer and driers crammed in that kink off the drier exhaust completely. It just blows lint into your house. This clogs the gas water heaters exhaust which in turn causes yellow and black buildup on the walls and vents and your skin. Hey folks, I'm not going to write a novel here since I'm not much of a writer....LOL I live here at Avalon TO Plaza for 11 years now and just signed a new lease for another year.! This place is one of the best in Conejo valley that you can find! Price? Yes , isn't very cheap, however look at the zip code first, then area, the apartment complex by it self-Top of the line.! Amenities! Pet friendly! Maintenance service and the guys are top notch! You get what you pay! Honestly I feel like I'm a family here ! Every one knows my name, the unit where I'm in. The nicest/friendly management people you can find ! Don't know about some other former tenants that wrote a bad/negative reviews about this property? Avalon is negligent. Its flea infested my ADA certified dog suffered life threatening flea attacks and hospitalized inpatient twice to the cost of 2500 bucks. I would NEVER recommend this place to live. This place is straight stupid. I would've never picked this place but I was recovering from a serious stroke at the time which explains the bad choice made. They took advantage of my health and had no regards to anything other than 100 extra for this and 200 extra for that. They lied to me and said mandatory use of consolidated smart systems to provide my internet TV and phone which has been horrendous The internet wifi is like dial up effecting my career greatly and had give up working from home. Wake up Avalon and get your head out of the gutter rut -it's the worst place to live in T.O They DO NOT reflect any integrity,moral,ethics and constantly make/blame excuses. Thank God my lease if over and I'm moving out. I've never been more miserable to come home after a hard days work. Staff in the office- no help and don't want to be bothered. The main office in Ohio expect all monies wire transferred to them on the 1st with NO grace period, rent cost 2600 for a 2 bdrm apt with 1 parking space, charges water x2 excusing it by assuming 2 people live there even if it's only one person!!! Avalon is another wasted So Cal association that expects your hard earned money for a crap. I've filed complaints about loss of sleeps due to the barely legal teens partying and having constant drug deals all night long as upstairs neighbours and Avalon staff treated me with condescending tone asking me to sleep in another room and went into how we've all been young once!!!!!! They never take anything of your concern seriously, if they are not effected they Don't Care. Avalon caused many miserable months increased effects side more severe but that's what happens when you lose sleep, time and money month after month of wasted effort. The Avalon Access website is fantastic! Whenever there is a maintenance issue a tenant merely goes to the website logs-in and provides a description of the maintenance issue. The Maintenance Department is very responsive because the following day either Miguel or another maintenance person addresses the issue in a professional and courteous manner. Also the Leasing Office personnel are very proactive in providing tenants with information regarding upcoming remodeling in the common areas and I've also found the Leasing Office to be very responsive in returning my phone calls in a timely fashion. Overall, Avalon Thousand Oaks Plaza is a wonderful community with great people in the Leasing and Maintenance Departments offering great services to make your living experience comfortable and enjoyable! read more

I searched many apt complexes before I chose this one for the amenities and the lovely grounds. I love it here! The office staff and the maintenance crew have been awesome-friendly, helpful, accommodating. A couple small issues after I moved in were addressed promptly and completely. My neighbors are friendly and polite and I have a terrific view of the mountains. Rent is pricey - but it is high everywhere, and you do get what you pay for. I feel safe, secure, and am very pleased with my little 'home'. First time in an apt in many years...I was afraid I would not like it. Satisfied while a resident; however, when moving out, the office held me responsible for "wear and tear" items and pretty much force you to pay an extra $105 cleaning fee and warn if any single thing needs cleaning, they'll slap on the $105. They also slap on a $60 carpet cleaning fee even through the carpet is the perfect condition. Additionally, in my case, there were shadow spots (only visible at certain angles on the wall that were there when I moved in and now, upon moving out, I'm being held responsible to repaint the entire apartment (160 fee). During moving in I was told that is not damages and not to worry about being held responsible, but now, that lady is now longer working here, so it's a he said she said. I learned my lesson. Overal, good living experience, but they all total crooks upon when moving out. Also, be prepared for your rent to raise at least 10-15% after the first year. In my case it was an 12% increase and when I told them I was moving out, i saw the apartment online for only about a 5% increase. So TOTAL Crooks; avoid here unless you have money to burn!!! read more

Very happy with my new apartment at Avalon Thousand Oaks. Michelle was very informative and answered all my questions. Any time I called or emailed she always had time to help me. When it came time to move in, the apartment was spotless including brand new carpet. Few things needed to be looked at but the maintenance team took care of it right away and they worked around my schedule. Highly recommend this place! read more

Living at Avalon Thousand Oaks I find that both management at front desk and maintience are friendly and follow up immediately with any issues pending, Santos Ramirez who is part of the maintiance team defines great service with immediate action from repairs to assisstance in your apt , knowlegable and friendly. Lived in the apartment for 11months and during that time seen a couple of times police paying visits to the apartment complex as there had been a couple of break-ins. Also the rent increases are exorbitant around 20% for no real justification. As other reviewers pointed out the maintenance workmen are great. And on moving out I left the place clean with the walls pristine, never had anything hung on the walls and yet I was given a $140+ charge for painting. I had an inspection done after I had all my possessions moved out of the apartment and it is very clear that there is no paint work to be done, yet I was given a charge!! (at the moment I am disputing the charge. will report on whether this charge is removed) read more

I have just returned to the UK have lived here for the past two years. As an alien moving to a foreign country and having to deal with setting up a temporary home and learning to drive on the wrong side of the road, moving to this apartment was the most enjoyable part of my trip. The team were excellent, the accommodation great and the maintenance team were fantastic. If I return again in the future this will be my first point of call. read more

Just another great review for Patti and Michelle in the leasing office. I have had some issues with late night noise outside my unit. Patti and Michelle are never to busy to listen. Patti even offered (though i won't take her up on this) to drive over in her PJ's to settle this issue with the offenders! We are very lucky to have them in the leasing office. read more

My last review was deleted. I have since moved out of this property, Fought tooth and nail to ensure I wasn't charged move out costs. But like other reviewers have said they will nickel and dime you. Nobody stays here an additional year because of the price hikes in rent, their turnover is massive. People constantly moving in and moving out. I attached pictures of their attempted rent hike on myself so you can get an idea of the ridiculousness that goes on, on this property. Be prepared to move out after one year. I asked politely to stay another 30 days, while I was waiting for my new apartment to finish the remodeling, and was told it would be $3,664 for an extra 30 days. Everything about this property including the leasing agents Michelle and Jason in the office, (who btw are NEVER there to help you, or answer a simple phone call, without acting like you are bothering them) is unethical. Just do yourself a favor and don't bother with this property. Plenty of other really nice apartments in nicer areas, where cars don't get broken into constantly, and that have cameras on the property to deter theft. My car was broken into 5 months ago, and still nothing has been done to ensure it didn't happen again. I heard about at least 8 cars being broken into during my short stay here. They don't even inform the tenants of break in. I, for one would like to know if I need to watch my back when going to my car! read more

Beautiful apartment homes! Very clean and landscape is always maintained. The gym is filled with new equipment and a steam room. Although I love living here mainly because whenever I need something fixed in my home, it gets repaired in less than 24 hours always!! read more
