I had a breast augmentation with Stephanie Luster and I love my results so much! They look great and she was able to give me the size that I wanted! I also told her I was nervous about the recovery pain and she decided to go over the muscle so I wouldn't be in as much pain.. I asked her what the difference was and she said it's just a difference in how much breast tissue you have and since I had enough breast tissue I was able to go over the muscle. Overall I love my results! My coordinator Stephanie Martinez was absolutely great. She was easy to communicate with and really worked with me on all of the paperwork especially because I came from out of town. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the staff when you actually go to the clinic. Some of the staff are not very friendly and they even gave me the wrong person's prescription when I left surgery. I walked out of my pre op appointment disappointed that Avana Plastic Surgery had failed to honor the price that I locked in for $250 on 6/19/2020, which included 12 areas of lipo as part of their special which included full back, arms, inner thigh, arm pits, back of legs, and inter thigh, anesthesia fee, pre and post appointments for $3000.00. The day before my surgery they tried attempted to charge me an additional $2900 for the exact procedure that was already paid by 7/17/2021. They tried to say it was because I was scheduled with Dr. Greco, which is not with the clinic anymore. I did not lock in a price based on a doctor, I locked in a price for a procedure because this place is famous for switching out the doctors. I was willing to take any doctor so long as they honor my price for my procedure, which I had in writing and showed them, including the CEO, Alysen Acosta, who never was willing to speak to me or answer my email. The best solution they offered was a full back, midsection, and arms with Dr. Sculocker, if I paid them $1000.00 more. NOPE. This clinic will do this to a patient a day before surgery. Multiply this practice by all the out-of-town patients, who invest in flights, motel, nurse care, health clearances, and they easily add several thousands last minute, to people too invested to back out. This place should have a class action put on them for this dishonest practice. Dr. Earle and the staff at Avana Plastic have TRAUMATIZED ME FOR LIFE. I experienced the worst pain in my life under their care and was tricked and coerced into a medical procedure. Firstly, Avana tried to con me out of an additional $500. Ms Amalia Perez informed that I would not qualify for surgery because my iron was too low and that the ONLY solution in order to proceed would be for me to purchase an additional $500 machine called a "Cell Saver". unwilling to spend an additional $500 I decided to reschedule the surgery. I left the clinic having been told the surgery was cancelled based on the safety concerns. Ms. Perez called my phone later on and told me the doctor would be ok with taking the risk and wanted me to come down to sign the paperwork to proceed with the surgery. I told her I would need to meet with him personally before I agreed to have the surgery because I now have a safety concern and do not agree with taking a risk on my life. She assured me Dr. Earle would meet me and explain my options and that we needed to take care of the paperwork while we are waiting for him. There was no paperwork about the risk. It was legal paperwork. Avana gets you to sign away your rights so that they cannot be held responsible for any botched procedure!!!!! I noticed that the paperwork stated he had no medical mal-practice insurance. This concerned me because if anything happened, then myself or any patient would be left hanging. I asked to see the doctor to ask him about this and am once again told he was tied up. This was after being promised he would be there and driving all the way to the clinic twice in one day. I told Jasmine I cannot go through with a procedure by a complete stranger. After leaving, I received a phone call from Jasmine asking me to be ready for surgery at 7am. I did not show up for surgery and instead returned a few hours after I was scheduled to return their compression garment. When I arrived, I am told that Dr. Earle wants to meet me. I declined at this point but they insisted that I give him a chance to explain himself. Upon meeting the doctor he said the procedure would be safe but that he would not be able to do my arms as I paid for. They also gave me no surgical compression garment for my arms. I explained to Dr. Earle that I prefer to wait until I am in prime condition for surgery and come back at a later date given that this is my first and only time meeting him. At that point the finance manager Jodie entered the room and told me that I MUST proceed with the surgery because I had already signed paperwork and given them authorization. When I woke up from the procedure, Dr. Earle was no where to be found.He had no update about how the procedure went. He left without a contact number or any emergency information. When I asked for pain medication I was told that the nurse had left and was over an hour away. After the pain became unbearable and anesthesia wore off, I managed to escape the clinic by getting a Lyft driver to sign me out, I made it back to my hotel to get some pain relief medication I already had. I noticed that many places where I was poked, were not bandaged adequately and I was bleeding all over the floor. I finally passed out on the bed and woke up a few hours later in a pool of my own blood. I tried calling the clinic about this concern but they had no one to answer. By the next morning I had soaked my compression garment with blood and received a phone call from the clinic stating that they need me to come in. I asked them how they think it possible for me to come in after I had just had a major surgery and was still in pain and bleeding everywhere. They said they don't care how I get there, it's a requirement if I am to get the doctor's note for work/school and air travel. I have never heard of a doctor operating on someone and asking them to travel back to the clinic on their own the very next day! They just hung up after demanding I come there. After that nightmare experience, I have a deformed abdomen that looks worse than before surgery. The scarring is deep and thick and I cannot turn from side to side. I do not have a slender waist line but a bulging belly that looks odd. When my kids hug me I wince with pain. I often have sharp pains along my stomache as my body's muscle memory recalls being stabbed with a wide guage canula. Everyday I wake up and go to bed in pain. I was only given one weeks worth of pain medication. I thought I was going to have my dream body and would be able to wear a bikini again after giving birth. I am not against cosmetic surgery but I encourage anyone considering the procedure to NEVER go anywhere alone because it's too easy to get taken advantage of. My payment was missing from my account, even after I called before travel to confirm they had everything before I left. They never could get times together. Wait times are ridiculously long! The staff does not communicate. After you have the surgery forget about them calling you for any reason. Be prepared for no organization. Be prepared for no compassion by the staff. Worst experience ever. Anyelin Muñiz and Anniel Campa are the rudest most disrespectful people. They're making the surgeons seem faulty but no it's the coordinator and the mangers that make this process difficult. This whole establishment is a money hungry corporation, once you put your money down, the kindness leaves and their true colors begin to shine. I've been waiting on a call back from Allison the general manger or Gigi the CEO for about two weeks now and still nothing! Today is my surgery and was told to be here at 8:45am it's now 2:00pm and I'm still not seen! They are over book with tons of girls appointments being canceled or rescheduled. Overall, my experience at Avana was good. Ive had 2 BBL'S with Dr Dress. HE IS THE BEST! He is genuine, really listens to you during the consultation and a very nice guy. I have the best booty! I love my results with my BBL. However, meeting the strict deadlines to get you lab work in, medical doctor approval, EKG , covid test results, ect is a little stressful. I wish they would allow more time for the patient to get all of the appropriate documentation to Avana. The clinic is nice and clean and the staff was nice. When I started to consider plastic surgery I looked at many surgeons. I came across Avana on Instagram and I loved the work the doctor did. I contacted them and got a response very quickly from Estefany. I was able to email my pictures and answer a few questions to see if they where the right place for me. After maybe a day she got back to me with a quote. After thinking it over I decided to go with Dc Mameniskis. I was super scared of how my results would be. After waiting for my surgery date I was able to meet the doctor, he was so kind and explained to me exactly what he would do and what he recommended. He explained to me to have a realistic expectation on the results since I did not want a tummy tuck. He informed me that with out it I would not have a super flat stomach. I understood I just wanted to look better in my own skin. Surgery was super quick and the staff was So nice and helped me till my husband picked me up. Recovery was hard because you can't sleep on your back for some time since I got a BBL but it was all worth it. The doctor did such an amazing job! Dr Mameniskis is so profesional and understanding. Review is based on customer service. I picked up my brother in law from this location after he had liposuction. When they called me for pick up I asked for the address for verification and I was told to Google it. The receptionist was extremely rude and acted as if she couldn't give me the information. I told her because I reside in Broward it would take about 30-40 minutes for me to get there. I was called 3 times and asked where I was and basically to hurry. When I arrived they pushed him out in a wheelchair and he was extremely bloody! I asked for extra pads for my car and was advised the pads are upstairs in the office....okay so basically she didn't want to go upstairs and back down! They put him in my car with one pad and he bled everywhere! They gave me a prescription and told me I could go to CVS which is located in the same parking lot, but we were unable to fill because they didn't have the meds. They also didn't tell my brother-in-law that the doctor he was supposed to see was no longer employed there and they waited until he came in from Texas and it was the day before his appointment! I had a appt TOMORROW for a lipo360/bbl procedure . I came in today for my preop everything was fine I got cleared from all my doctors that have been working on me in California ! The nurse said I was fine and to expect a call for my time for surgery ! Not even in 20 minutes after i leave the center I get a call saying that they're cancelling me wel the hospital they wanted me to go to is cancelling me because they don't feel like I should be put under . Which is weird because all me specialist cleared me and they've had my paperwork for weeks ! I flew out here leaving my 2 kids in LOS ANGELES for this procedure .. and paid them over 8k! I went to Avana for breast augmentation. I send in my pictures to them because I'm from out of state. Dr. Moridian said he would deny doing my surgery unless I get a breast lift. I paid for both breast augmentation and breast lift. The day of the surgery comes Dr. Moridian deny my breast augmentation because he said of my size I was too small and refused to do it but he will only do the lift. Mind you I send him my pictures and he was the one that told me he wouldn't do the implants without a breast lift. I end up only doing the breast lift. And it's been over 2 & half months Avana still haven't reimbursed my refund money. I have spoken to everyone in that company by now. I had surgery there a couple weeks ago and it was my first time having cosmetic surgery. My surgeon was McDaniel I was suppose to have a tummy tuck and beast lift but the bmi for him to do two procedures is 32 and mine was 33. The people at pre op said nothing I had to find out right before surgery and was told I had to pick one so I chose the tummy tuck. I get on the table i fall asleep i wake up, I am shivering my ass off they said its normal with anesthesia but I've been put under before and that never happened. Anyway they dress me called my ride and sent me away. I get to my airbnb step down from the van and that's all i remember i woke up and she told me I passed out after that I was getting up and passed out again then once more. She then called 911 I go to the trauma hospital in Miami they cut my clothes off tool a CT scan found I was bleeding in my stomach and my binder was so tight it cut off oxygen that's why I passed out. I ended up getting blood from the hospital. Spent 2 days there in the ICU. When I alerted Avana it was almost like talking to a brick wall. Please research harder and harder before booking read more

Avana did me Great. I actually had scheduled somewhere else when I found Avana and I canceled them and they kept my deposit but I didn't care because I wanted to go to Avana. I am so happy I made the choice to go to Avana because they were very helpful. Everytime I called I got through, they weren't trying to rush me, I got to meet Dr. Dress before surgery and talk to him he also made me feel comfortable with my procedure, the office if very clean and modern..... fast forward after my procedure Oh My Goodness!!! So turns out they cancelled my procedure because Dr Earle no longer works there. I specifically chose this Dr because of his amazing work. They then tried to force me to use one of their other doctors which I absolutely will not. Nothing against their work but their "look" is not the look I'm going for. Plastic surgery is 99% of the time based on the doctor. People research the doctors, look at photos of their previous work, consider their ratings and bedside manner, look at their board certifications (the Dr I chose was double board certified). Dr Earle offered what I wanted, the other doctors there do not even have the same certification! Avana is still saying they did not cancel my surgery and that they gave me the option to choose one of the other doctors there (by option they mean force). This is completely and morally unethical. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and Avana responded saying they issued me a refund, when in reality they gave me $100 and kept the rest. I can't imagine this clinic will be open much longer. It will likely get shut down due to ethics violations and then reopen immediately under a different name like so many other chop shops in Miami. read more

Having my surgery here was wonderful. I booked my appointment and there was no need to call for any questions because every question you can think of there is a answer for it in your PORTAL. I followed the rules for the 30 days before my surgery and I think that was very beneficial for recovery. Overall I had a very pleasant experience. I don't have any complaints. I read about my doctor before hand so I kind of already knew what to expect for pre op from previous reviews such as his personality. He was nice and to the point what else is there to talk about. I am loving my results and I just want people to know don't always believe the negative reviews. You don't know the real truth people only tell what they want. Everybody experience is different but if you go in your PORTAL AND READ you should be good to go. All the staff are very nice. I didn't have a bad experience with anyone. UPDATED REVIEW: Had my surgery and it went wonderful! Thank you to man with the magical hands Dr. Moradian. A special shout out to the surgery staff, Mohammed, Barbara, Diana and my AMAZING masseuse Ligia. Words can't express what Ligia has done for me. After having a not so great experience with the Pre Op staff (unorganized, not Knowledgeable, when they don't know things they just say another department will handle it), Ligia made me feel like a did make a great choice. I came in with a pretty scarred mindset of the massages being painful but she told me her recommendations right when I came in and I followed them perfectly. I am now 5 days post op and have almost no liquid left, feel fantastic (have felt this way since day 2) and was able to have my drains removed early. She made me feel so comfortable. She would talk to me the whole time which really helped on the painful day! She even gives you awesome metaphors to help you understand the medical process. One day was a really tough massage on me (I forgot to take my Tylenol) but she was so kind about it and took her time. Kept stopping to let me breathe! I swear if it wasn't for her I'm really not sure how my recovery would have gone. Everyday I came in and I would ask girls what post op days they were on and the ones who had my same surgery, same day were struggling to walk and didn't feel well. However, two days after I paid another 2500.00 on 4/26/21 I received a call from Anniel the coordinator telling me that my surgery was canceled by the Dr. No reasons given at all. I put in a request that day to get my full refund and never received any feedback. I've called at least 35 times since the 28th of April. When I finally spoke to the women in the refund dept. She told me that they were taking a $500.00 fee. Now they canceled on me and charged me a fee. As an out of towner I had already booked my flight, paid for the recovery house and a hotel and car for today. My surgery was suppose to be tomorrow 5/12/21. They never call back, I'm always on hold forever, I've sent emails and never got to speak to the actual Dr. , Dr.Moradian who so called canceled me. I don't have money to just blow like that. So far I have lost 1300.00 from dealing with Avana and they don't seem to care. They said that in the contract it states that they can cancel at any time for any reason, which is fine. However why does that burden fall on the customers. We should not incur any kind of fee if the dr. cancels. This is theft plain and simple and their going to regret this. My experience with Dr. Moradian has been awesome from Consultation thru Post-Op Recovery. I had a breast lift and revision about a week ago and am so happy I chose him for my surgery. He listened to my thoughts when deciding on size/shape options, but told me what he believed was right for my body, and I'm SO GLAD I TRUSTED HIM! I was supposed to get a procedure done but due to medical issues I wasn't able to get the procedure performed. I requested a refund months ago. They only gave me a partial refund. I have been waiting for months for $1500 that they were supposed to give to me. I have been calling for weeks and no one has Steele gotten back to me in regards to my refund. At this point I feel like I have been robbed. Do not give these people any money not unless you are really getting a procedure done. They will keep your money and they will not respond to you. read more
