When I got my ring home and put it on it was still tight, I had to struggle and use lotion to get it off. It actually hurt my finger. I took the ring to another reputable jeweler ro get it resized again and when he checked the size it was a 6 & 1/4, not a 6 & 1/2 like it was supposed to be sized to. He told me it would have been $75.00 to retip the prongs and $45.00 for sizing. I was ripped off. I wish I would have just gone to the other jeweler that I usually go to. I wish I could give the zero stars. Buyer beware, shop around.

For this reason, my online order was cancelled a day later by Kay.. Fine. So I go in to the Yorkville store with the order in hand. I show the associate the price I paid on the cancelled order, and he assured me it would be no problem to honor the price, and he would call me when the item came in as it was a special order. Fast forward to this evening, two days before we are to leave for our destination wedding. The associate I spoke with previously was not working. The person that was helping me this evening informed me that the coupon would not be honoured, as it was only redeemable online. Not only that, but the regular price is $50 more than what is shown online . I told her about the conversation I had with the previous associate, and showed her the previous order that had been cancelled by Kay. She said she couldn't do anything. Called Kay customer service, they said the same. Long story short, I went to kohls, found the item and got the price I had originally paid online. If you shop at this sham of a business, record the associates conversation when negotiating price. Apparently having it noted on the special offer paperwork does not work. This is the first time I had an original ring designed, though. I worked with Marino Costello on the design process. As an anniversary gift, my husband wanted to buy me a ring, but I decided that I couldn't give up my original engagement ring and wedding band so I had a new ring designed utilizing the diamonds. The process was interesting. I looked at rings in the jewelry store to get an idea of what I wanted and then we proceeded to the design process, Marino sending me CAD drawings and then a wax ring was made where I tried it on to get an idea of the design and dimensions. My new ring is gorgeous! Marino is a fabulous designer and so easy to work with. I appreciated his attention to detail and his quick responses to my emails. The design process was fun. I love that Marino designed such a special ring where I still have the original diamonds that my husband gave me 20 years ago. I highly recommend Costello Jewelry!
