Received a confirmation email and text that the technician was scheduled to arrive between noon - 1700hrs. The technicians tracking/status link that was provided in the text didn't work and to top it off the technician was a "NO SHOW". I never received any form of communication via phone, text, email regarding updates, rescheduling or a simple "we apologize" for the inconvenience. In addition, I haven't been successful with contacting them by phone or email. I'm shocked that Lowe's would even consider this company to honor their extended warranty service. Person got as close as 2 blocks from our condo and couldn't find us. Drove in circles for almost an hour. Called me and despite my clear directions I then saw him 10 miles away!! He finally texted me back saying he was told to go elsewhere but would be back (good luck getting back into Midtown at drive-time). COMPLETELY DISSASTISFIED. Frigidaire scheduled this repair company for (thankfully) repairs covered under warranty. Our less than one month old refrigerator was not cooling and intermittently flashing "HI". Technician came out, saw that the temp was WAY too high in the freezer (I had a thermometer in there and the ice cream was mushy). but since the flashing wasn't happening he said he couldn't tell what was wrong with it. He didn't even look behind the fridge. Said "maybe" it was low on freon, which he didn't have with him. Stayed less than 20 minutes and told me he would have to come back with freon and they would contact me. It's been a week and no contact--nothing. USELESS. 0 Stars! My $5,000 Samsung Chef Collection refrigerator, bought at Best Buy in 2016, has a faulty ice maker that has already been replaced once under manufacturers warranty. There is actually a class action lawsuit due to this problem. I bought an extended warranty on this appliance simply because it was such an investment and it turns out that was a well spent additional $400. It stopped working again and Geek Squad, who handles extended warranty repairs for Best Buy, sent out a tech from Avauxco. A nice enough guy but clueless about Samsung ice maker issues. His "fix" was to ask me to call his company directly to request he come back and put silicone caulk around the unit, which is inside the refrigerator itself. I did not call his company back and before I could call Geek Squad a certified Samsung repair company called me to set an appointment to replace the main control board for the refrigerator and the entirety of the guts of the ice maker, which they did the following day. More than a week later I finally got a call from the scheduler at Avauxco asking when it would be convenient for the tech to come back and apply the caulk. I don't know what kind of baloney this company is pulling but the parts alone to properly fix my problem were pushing $1K. Between the first replacement and now this one that's almost another $2K above the purchase price. Shame on you Samsung for not doing a recall and shame on Avauxco for trying to put lipstick on a pig. Makes one ponder if Avauxco is somehow working the reimbursement end... Two takeaways; don't buy a Samsung refrigerator unless you get an extended warranty and if Avauxco is assigned to a repair job for you refuse and ask for a different company. read more

Referred to this company by our house warranty to fix a fridge. This also seems to be the theme from the past reviews. Another common theme is the horrible customer service. It's honestly shocking they are in business since they don't answer the phone, return voicemails or sometimes don't have a working phone. I'm convinced they are the cheapest company which is why they get referrals from other companies. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. My daughter's Frigidaire microwave oven died last weekend. It is about 8 months old, still under warranty from Frigidaire. She contacted Frigidaire and they dispatched a "repair tech". I put that in quotes because this "repair tech" wouldn't take the microwave down (it's an over the stove model), didn't have anything to check the outlet (I lent him my outlet tester - I don't think he ever saw one before.) He said since it was completely dead it's probably the fuse, he would call in the model number and request a part and maybe someone would be in touch later in the day. I asked if he could take it down and test the fuse. He said he didn't have the correct tool to take it off the wall and he would require a 2nd tech to do that. He left. That was Monday and that was the last we heard from them. My daughter tried to call the company - no answer. She called the tech directly - all he is supposed to do is call the part numbers into the office. The company that Frigidaire dispatched was Avauxco, in Decatur, GA. Their reviews on the web indicate that this behavior from them is normal. I've been waiting on the Frigidaire "chat" site for 50 minutes for an "agent" after answering many questions for their chatbot. It should be embarrassing for a company like Frigidaire to be associated with a service provider with this poor a reputation. read more

Home Depot gave us this company to repair a water valve on a refrigerator we bought off the showroom floor from them. We've been waiting on a part for the refrigerator for 6 weeks now. Someone came out and said we needed a new water valve. After 3 weeks, I called them and they said the part was in. So another technician comes out only to say they had the wrong part. We had a technician from Avauxco visit our house yesterday to fix a dishwasher that is not working. He told me that the problem is with the electrical connection rather than the dishwasher, and advised me to call an electrician. The electrician came out today and confirmed that the correct amount of energy is being delivered to the dishwasher, and he says that the problem is probably with the control board of the dishwasher. Obviously someone is giving me bad information about the electrical situation, and I doubt it is the electrician. read more

This company was sent by Sears to service our fridge. They did a fine job servicing it, but when they left, there was a very long and deep scratch left on our hardwood kitchen floor. I called the company, and they asked for a photo, which I sent. They then asked for more photos showing the scratch in relation to the fridge, which I sent. Then they didn't reply. I followed up via email, and got no response. Today I called and their manager Sharon screamed at me, going on and on about how their tech was not working in that area, and could not have made the scratch. He was in fact working in that EXACT spot, and clearly scratched the floor with the refrigerator trim kit, which he had placed in that spot while he was working. Yes, it is my word against theirs, I guess, but their way of handling the situation was to say that I am obviously wrong because their tech was not working in that area. This is not a high traffic area of our home, and nothing else was done in that area before we first noticed it just a few hours after the tech left. read more

HORRIBLE service doesn't even begin to cover it. The compressor on our 2 year old LG refrigerator died and our warranty repair was scheduled through this company. They were provided with the model number of our refrigerator and the problem that it was having (we'd had our usual appliance repairman come out and confirm it was the compressor before making the warranty appointment - but since the compressor was covered under warranty, he recommended we fix it that way as it would be at no cost to us). It took three days to get on their schedule for a warranty call. The technician was nice and arrived on time (early, actually), looked at the fridge, confirms that it's a bad compressor and tells me it will be FOUR OR FIVE BUSINESS DAYS for them to order the compressor and come back and replace it. Which leaves me without a working fridge for over a week. They knew the problem, they knew the model, why on earth they wouldn't bring the part to fix it absolutely defies all logic. read more

This company was tasked to fix my dishwasher from hhgregg. The appointment was made at a definite date with a given time frame. I received a text message notifying me that the repairman is already on his way. Unfortunately, the repairman never showed up to my house. I later called the company and it goes to voicemail after many rings. I leave a voicemail & still no response. After many phone calls, a lady finally picked up the phone who had an attitude. I was told by her that the repairman was at the house during the time frame, ringed the doorbell, & even took a photo of the house for validation. All in which was NOT true. I stayed in the house the whole time and there was nobody who showed up. She was telling a LIE and it was very unprofessional. After going back and forth with the customer service lady, she then told me that there is another phone number calling the company and she must answer and then she hung up immediately. I bought the MASTER REPAIR EXTENDED warranty through Sears for my fridge it broke on May 5th, its is now 5/26/2021 There are so many things wrong with this company THEY HARDLY EVER answer or return calls AND WHEN THEY DO THEY ARE RUDE! Service was two days after my fridge broke guy looked at my fridge never took the control panel off and said it needed a new panel and said call when it arrives. The part arrived at my home two weeks later, I called got scheduled appointment , no body showed up and no one is answering their phone. I have called Sears over 6 times in one day 2 x today finally they gave me an expedited number supposedly to follow up on contractors mess ups . I held for over 40 minutes before being disconnected finally after calling back and holding for 30 minutes someone answered . The operator claim she was able to connect with AVAUXCO and someone will be out in 2 days to fix my fridge! Wow! I am praying this is so ! By far the WORST experience I think I've had with a vendor of any kind. It took them an entire month to fix a hose on our dishwasher. They ordered the wrong part, and then tried to charge us for the wrong part that they ordered. A refrigerator part was ordered for our dishwasher to the tune of a $100 difference. TWICE I have taken off from work to be there for the technician's visit and TWICE they neither showed nor called. I purchased an extended warranty from HH Gregg in 2014. Two years later after smelling a burnt rubber smell I reached out to HH Gregg to have my washer serviced. This was on Monday, December 12, 2016. HHG reached for local venders and scheduled an appt with Jiffy/Avauxco service for Friday, December 15, 2016 between 8am-12pm. Jiffy/Avauxco called me on Monday evening December 12, to say they would be in my area on the upcoming Wednesday. I stated this time would not work for me, and that we scheduled with HHG for Friday the 15th, and asked if this would be an issue? The rep stated no, this was not an issued and that they would see me on Friday, December 16, 2016. Jiffy/Avauxco reached out via text on 12/15 to confirm my upcoming "diagnosis appt" for December 16, 2016 from 8am-12pm. At 1pm on December 16, 2016 I reached out to Jiffy/Avauxco to inquire about my missed appt. I was informed my schedule time had been changed, without any noticed to me, to 1pm-5pm and that a tech would reach out shortly. At 5pm, I had not heard from the tech, so I called Jiffy/Avauxco. No answer! I then called HHG to document the missed appointment. A tech finally called to say he was on his way and showed up around 6:15pm. He was professional and diagnosed the issued and stated he would submit a ticket to have a part ordered to fix our washer. On Monday, December 19, 2016, I received a call from HHG stating the part had been order and should be delivered to Jiffy/Avauxco on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. I was provided with a tracking number for my records. Just as expected the part was delivered on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 and again, I received a text from Jiffy/Avauxco stating they would install the part on Thursday, December 22, 2016 between 1pm -5pm. I never heard from them. When I called Jiffy/Avauxco, no answer. HHG has been reaching out and to no avail...no answer!. Although apparently not protocol, HHG created another appt and documented in the notes for part installation Thursday, December 29, 2016. As usual, I received a text from Jiffy/Avauxco the day before stating an appointment was scheduled between 8am-12pm. Thursday came and the tech arrived! He was professional and walked into our home and stated, "I hear you are having some issues with your washer, you want to tell me what it's doing?", so immediately I am looking baffled, as I know this has to be a bad joke. I explain the situation and he is clearly embarrassed. He made a few phone calls and confirms my part is on another tech's vehicle and that they would meet the other tech later in the day and he ensured me he would return to our home around 6pm. We haven't heard from the tech or the company since. This is the worst customer service experience. Stay Away!! read more
