They (Baptist Imaging) didn't call back to let me know they didn't schedule at 11 but at 3pm but clearly heard my message approving a Wednesday appointment.

I have nothing BUT great things to say about the facility, the care, the staff and all the nurses. Exceptional, professional, compassionate, caring and attentive in listening, understanding and executing exactly what was needed from information, treatment, progress, pain management and even the food and drink items. The Nurses and staff were amazing and attentive to all I required or wanted. The doctor visits are done thru video conference and were surprisingly better than if they would have come in person, the doctors did not seem rushed, very explanatory for my situation with time for my questions and concerns. I have not received any financial obligations at this time, so I cant comment on that side yet. But I will when it all catches up to me. They quickly realized they weren't equipped to care for his needs and transferred him to Christus across the street which worked out perfect because that's where we were headed for a referral from the VA. The little bit of time they were there they did an xray and an Ecko. The doctor was super kind and the nurses were as well. We are so very thankful they were there because I didn't even realize that's where I had stopped as everything was just a little chaos in my mind. Perfect service. Clean facility.

THE LOCATION IS IN THE BACK!!!…read more First, it was impossible to find. I drove back and forth in the front multiple times, parked twice and even got out and walked around. There is a sign in the front with their name, other businesses and address but it was not clear where this office was. As you face the building there are arrows that point left but the last thing in that parking lot is Torchy's Tacos. Nowhere did it say, "around back". You literally have to leave the parking lot of the address to get there. This is not intuitive or clear. At some point I even tried to call that location and was sent to voicemail.... this was my first sign. Second, I tried to fill out the forms online the night before. Because I needed portal access, I was not able to do that. I literally got access when I was about to leave for the appointment. I left early because the text instructed me to get there 15 min early if I needed to fill out forms. I got there early (but also wasted time lost in the parking lot). When I got there, I checked in with the QR code as instructed and took a seat. This is very impersonal and no one gave me forms to fill out. Why would I/should I get there 15 minutes early, as requested, if you aren't going to give me forms to fill out when I get there??? Third, my apt was at 10:40 and it was 30 minutes after that before anyone even spoke to me or gave me forms to fill out, that was after I initiated contact with the front desk. This was very poor customer service across the board. The waiting room is also very small with people packed in there. It seems like a huge space behind the scenes, so the size of the waiting room makes no sense. There were people waiting outside and the people in wheelchairs were struggling to find places that weren't in the way of others. My tech was great and the facility seems very nice and clean but that's the extent. You lost my business in the waiting room. Of note, while sitting there, I was watching one guy get rescheduled for a second time. They tried to tell him he didn't have an appointment that day but he had the paperwork to prove it. Another elderly woman being told she would have to be reschedule because a machine broke. The front desk person was telling someone that they don't do Sunday appointments only to be corrected by another staff member and told that they do. None of this is my business but it was clear that this location lacks leadership or direction. The amount of unhappy patients was crazy. This place needs MUCH better customer service, better management or at least staff that are better trained. There was just an air of chaos in the front.

I…read morecalled first thing this morning to request an appointment and was informed that I could potentially be scheduled this afternoon if my referral was received and processed. After I was notified that my referral had been faxed, I called approximately 20 minutes later. I spoke with another representative who informed me that it would take 30 minutes to 1 hour for the referral to be processed. After waiting an hour, I called again and was told by yet another representative that my MRI could not be scheduled because the referral still needed to be processed and that it would take an additional 2-3 hours. I explained that this was my third call of the day and that each time I waited an average of 12 minutes before speaking with someone, only to receive different timeframes and no resolution. It felt like I was being asked to continue calling back rather than having the referral processed. The representative then stated, "Okay, I will process it," but while I was waiting, the call was disconnected. Approximately 10 seconds later, I received a text from Touchstone stating that my referral had been processed and that I could call to schedule my MRI. I called again, waited, and was eventually sent to voicemail. I called back and selected option 1 for the ordering physician/doctor line, but after several minutes of ringing, I was again prompted to leave a message. The entire experience has been extremely disappointing. The call center continued pushing my call to different people instead of resolving the issue. Since it is a call center, I was unable to work with the same person or request a specific representative who understands the situation. I feel as though the urgency of my healthcare needs was not taken seriously. This is not just a routine task--it involves my health and my life. As a nurse with 28 years of experience, I was very disappointed by the lack of communication, coordination, and compassion I experienced. If I am able to get my MRI scheduled, I hope the clinic staff will provide the level of professionalism, care, and patient-centered service that patients deserve. I entrusted my care to this organization and expected a much better experience.

In September 2023, my mother had an MRI at American Dynamic Imaging in San Antonio after an earlier…read moreultrasound had already shown suspicious lesions on her liver. The radiologist's report said there were "no pathologic liver mass lesions." Only a few weeks later, she underwent another MRI at a different imaging center. That exam showed extensive cancer throughout her liver, including multiple nodules and larger lesions. A later medical review confirmed the cancer had been visible in the first MRI. Because the September MRI was reported as normal, my mother never received cancer treatment. She passed away on November 8, 2023, only receiving pain relief in her final days. The suffering she endured and the loss to our family were devastating. I am sharing this so that other families know to ask questions and seek second opinions when results don't match what the clinical situation suggests.

Check-in was easy, the lady was nice and the radiology tech was even nicer. My appointment was at 1:40 but they said to arrive at 1:25. I arrived around 1:20 and I didn't wait long at all. In fact, I was done a little after 1:40. The tech explained everything thoroughly and positioned my hand while we made small talk about the x-ray flower art on the walls. When I checked out I informed the same lady who checked me in that I had a referral to a hand doctor. I handed her my phone so she can clearly get the details and said she can send my results to both my Airrosti doctor and the specialist. She must have done something right because the specialist's office called on Monday to schedule an appointment. I thanked her and went on my way. There was a second lady who didn't seem to be in as chipper a mood, but I made sure to say goodbye and thank you to her, too, and she brightened up. Overall it was a pleasant, quick experience.
