I am extremely frustrated with the call center and the process of trying to schedule my MRI. I called first thing this morning to request an appointment and was informed that I could potentially be scheduled this afternoon if my referral was received and processed. After I was notified that my referral had been faxed, I called approximately 20 minutes later. I spoke with another representative who informed me that it would take 30 minutes to 1 hour for the referral to be processed. After waiting an hour, I called again and was told by yet another representative that my MRI could not be scheduled because the referral still needed to be processed and that it would take an additional 2-3 hours. I explained that this was my third call of the day and that each time I waited an average of 12 minutes before speaking with someone, only to receive different timeframes and no resolution. It felt like I was being asked to continue calling back rather than having the referral processed. The representative then stated, "Okay, I will process it," but while I was waiting, the call was disconnected. Approximately 10 seconds later, I received a text from Touchstone stating that my referral had been processed and that I could call to schedule my MRI. I called again, waited, and was eventually sent to voicemail. I called back and selected option 1 for the ordering physician/doctor line, but after several minutes of ringing, I was again prompted to leave a message. The entire experience has been extremely disappointing. The call center continued pushing my call to different people instead of resolving the issue. Since it is a call center, I was unable to work with the same person or request a specific representative who understands the situation. I feel as though the urgency of my healthcare needs was not taken seriously. This is not just a routine task--it involves my health and my life. As a nurse with 28 years of experience, I was very disappointed by the lack of communication, coordination, and compassion I experienced. If I am able to get my MRI scheduled, I hope the clinic staff will provide the level of professionalism, care, and patient-centered service that patients deserve. I entrusted my care to this organization and expected a much better experience. read more

I went in still a little nervous about my "open" MR yet the staff made me feel extremely comfortable with their empathy and walking me through each set. I actually feel asleep . After the open MRI, I was advised I needed to take a brief "normal" MR that would be only a minute or two. He was absolutely right and it took less than two mins I love how the medical staff took care of me. I highly recommend you visit this facility for your radiology care. 10 out of 10! read more

The overall experience was great. The people were all amazing and you could tell they cared about the work they did. The price was HIGH though. The facility was tired. It was older, which doesn't mean anything by itself, but the wear and tear on everything made it feel like the relatively high cost (almost triple compared to some other providers, all covered by my insurance) is not being invested in the business. I want to stress that the age of the facility is not the issue, but the upkeep. read more

Love, love Touchstone. If you claustrophobic like me, this is the place. They have open and wide bore, which I can actually do cause they are 70cm. The staff is great at all levels. Regular X-ray walk-ins. You get your results mailed to you. They are just fabulous and you can mostly get appts fast. read more

The care and treatment was good. Just the price was astronomical to what I've had done before. My out of pocket was $1,500 in Conroe TX... with no insurance on $10,500. Same amount billed for 3 MRIs. This was the same number of scans 3 and same billed amount. Cost me $4,500 out of pocket on $10,500 bill with insurance. Idk but hardly seems fair ... both done this year ... read more

Touch Stone is an awesome place. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The technician Raul explained to me how the MRI works and how long it may take. He also told me if I need him in the room to call his name out loud and wave my right hand. I felt that he was taking care of me. He also put pillows under my arms so id be more comfortable. i've had multiple types of Imaging at Touchstone and each time it was a pleasant experience. over the past 20 years I've had many studies and 90% of them were done at Touchstone. there are many appointment slots so it's easy to schedule an appointment and you can walk in for x-rays. The new patient information can be completed online making it easy to check in for your appointment. The technicians are always very pleasant, helpful, and understanding during the exams. They have a new option to receive the report about your scans via messaging and each report has links to and information pertaining to exam, making it very easy to understand. They took excellent care of me. The even performed a CT scan the doctor had order and my insurance denied payment. They somehow got me qualified for no $300 copay for the onw the did approve, then when above and beyond and covered the entire cost of the chest CT. Which just so happened to show that the hiatal hernia is mostly in my chest. If not for their overwhelming caring about the patient we would still be figuring it out. When I called to schedule an MRI appointment and I told them I was claustrophobic, I was told they had an open MRI. That was a great thing, I thought until I looked at the imaging CD and saw the quality and realized that I had never had an MRI with such poor quality. (Evidently open MRI's are known for poor quality of imaging,) So I had received an email from the office manager and replied to her about my concerns and she asked me if I had been given the choice of a wide bore MRI or open MRI and I told her no. She was kind enough to help me get it redone asap as my surgeon is trying to get my surgery approved. I went in and asked for her, was told she was in a meeting and I said okay and the young man at the front desk checked me in and said he sent a message to let her know I was there. She was in the hall waiting for me when I walked out of the MRI and we began chatting. Her knowledge of nuclear medicine is awesome, and she and I ended up chatting about what is going on with my back issues and I explained to her what I have been through. She was very compassionate, and we talked for a bit, which brings me to say that she definitely is a people person and easy to talk with. After a couple of visits at this location and Stone Oak, I will drive the extra distance to go to the Louis Pasteur location. Sandee is definitely an asset to Touchstone and most importantly cares about the people that she serves. read more

What can about an xray imaging. The service techs are less than nice more concerned to collected copays no worries about my condition.

The facility and the local staff are great. However, "financial assistance" is a scam. I had a mammogram and an ultrasound as ordered by my doctor. As a teacher, my health insurance covers about 0 of those costs. I brought in about 20 documents and the staff assured me of a reduced rate. Well, 9 months later the national company called me saying I owed over $2500 for those services. read more

I was already very nervous about having an MRI on my brain this morning due to my PTSD, mental anguish, claustrophobia, brain trauma, etc ... that I deal with since our motorcycle wreck back in August 5, 2017. But, the staff put me at ease as much as possible, and were all extremely professional, helpful, and extremely genuine. The lady who actually did the MRI on my brain today was actually amazing, and one of the sweetest people I think I have ever met or dealt with especially in a doctor's office or clinic. I'm so frustrated with the customer service I get from the receptionist every time I call. They either have me on the phone for 30 min saying that can't find my account then somehow find it when I try to hang up or say they will call back/call to confirm appointments and never do. It's also always so great how they never have an idea of what's going on as far as payments/ insurance. There's a longer story behind all this but to sum it up, these people need better training. read more

Two calls to set up appointments for a Cat Scan the first call was professional gave me the best facility location for me and asked if I have a claustrophobia problem I new immediately the appointment was wrong I cannot have an MRI ! I survived a brain aneurism and will never be able to to survive it. She called the Doctors office to correct the appointment. The second call with an abrupt rude Colleague out of her mouth first you owe 130.00 then I asked what is the appointment the response an MRI. Came with my husband for foot xrays at 12:35pm and got out one hour later. Front reception attendants were distracted, looked confused and in no rush to get you in and out in a timely manner. Receptionist or whoever answers the phone call can't even tell me what if the appendix is included in the abdominal ultrasound, straight up says "I don't know" and once I ask if there's anyone who does know, she just disregards my question. The medical facility and its staff were exceptional to say the least. Here is my experience.... Due to childhood trauma, I was extraordinarily fearful and anxious that because of my severe claustrophobia and panic disorder I would be unable to fulfill my doctor's order for 3 MRIs. But, by the grace only God can grant, I made my appointment at the place that was PERFECT for me. When I walked in the first person I made contact with was a very pleasant person named Cindy who greeted me with a very kind, professional demeanor. A few minutes later I was called by Trish (RN) to get me set up. Her genuine caring spirit quickly took control of my emotions. She assured me several times, in different ways, that everything was going to be alright and I ended up trusting her wholeheartedly. She and I conversed while waiting for the technician. The Tech also had a very tranquil presence and explained everything to me in layman's terms. I started with a Fear level of 10 and to my shock and awe ended with a Fear Level of 0! The entire staff deserves five stars and then some!!! read more

After a horrible experience at Baptist NE for an MRI, I was then referred to Sendero and I was so nervous that it would be a repeat performance but thankfully they put my concerns to ease right away. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with dignity and respect. The technician in the back was patient, kind and helpful in making sure I was able to lay down and get up safely with no rush. It was the best experience I could've hoped for. A week later I called to request a copy of the MRI and they said no problem just come on by. When I arrived, they had it at the front desk already ready in an envelope to go for me. I went yesterday to get an Open MRI and I have to say I am beyond claustrophobic and when they say Open MRI I get skeptical. This place is truly and Open MRI. I did the best I have ever done in an MRI without being knocked out. The people that work here are fantastic. Very friendly but very professional. The Tech who took me back to the MRI station would even sit with me if I needed. The Tech that worked the MRI talked me through the whole thing. Went for a CT this morning. Very professional front office, no wait, friendly people. I needed an IV & I'm very hard to get a needle in. Roger was so caring, he & Eddie, (& I think Betty?) worked hard not to hurt me. I am chronically ill & have lots of tests....left Touchstone feeling like they actually cared about how things went for me. You should disregard any reviews prior to March 2019 when Touchstone took over Sendero. I don't know why they are together . Thank you Touchstone ! read more
