I…read morecalled first thing this morning to request an appointment and was informed that I could potentially be scheduled this afternoon if my referral was received and processed. After I was notified that my referral had been faxed, I called approximately 20 minutes later. I spoke with another representative who informed me that it would take 30 minutes to 1 hour for the referral to be processed. After waiting an hour, I called again and was told by yet another representative that my MRI could not be scheduled because the referral still needed to be processed and that it would take an additional 2-3 hours. I explained that this was my third call of the day and that each time I waited an average of 12 minutes before speaking with someone, only to receive different timeframes and no resolution. It felt like I was being asked to continue calling back rather than having the referral processed. The representative then stated, "Okay, I will process it," but while I was waiting, the call was disconnected. Approximately 10 seconds later, I received a text from Touchstone stating that my referral had been processed and that I could call to schedule my MRI. I called again, waited, and was eventually sent to voicemail. I called back and selected option 1 for the ordering physician/doctor line, but after several minutes of ringing, I was again prompted to leave a message. The entire experience has been extremely disappointing. The call center continued pushing my call to different people instead of resolving the issue. Since it is a call center, I was unable to work with the same person or request a specific representative who understands the situation. I feel as though the urgency of my healthcare needs was not taken seriously. This is not just a routine task--it involves my health and my life. As a nurse with 28 years of experience, I was very disappointed by the lack of communication, coordination, and compassion I experienced. If I am able to get my MRI scheduled, I hope the clinic staff will provide the level of professionalism, care, and patient-centered service that patients deserve. I entrusted my care to this organization and expected a much better experience.

I even called facilities within 100 miles to see if I could have the MRI done somewhere else so I could cancel this appointment. Unfortunately, I had no luck, so I decided to keep my appointment--and I am very glad I did. I want to give credit to the entire Stone Oak office staff for turning what I expected to be a stressful experience into a very positive one. The waiting room was very comfortable, and I received a friendly greeting when I checked in. Shortly afterward, the nurse introduced herself and explained that she would be placing an IV. I told her that I am claustrophobic, had a Valium available if needed, and also have an Inspire implant. She could tell that I was very nervous and immediately reached out to Ed, the MRI technologist. Ed took the time to speak with me and explain exactly what would happen during the scan. While we were discussing the procedure, I showed him the area of concern, which was primarily my pelvis. He noticed that the MRI order was for the abdomen, which would not have properly covered the area that needed to be scanned. He recognized that the order needed to be changed from an abdominal MRI to a pelvic MRI to ensure the correct area was evaluated. Ed personally walked me to the front desk, where the receptionist contacted the ordering physician's office. I also called Dr. Rivera myself, and he was able to provide a verbal order so we could proceed with the correct MRI. The MRI itself went much better than I expected. Ed played music during the scan, and a calming voice explained when I needed to hold my breath and what to expect throughout the procedure. That made a huge difference in helping me feel comfortable. Kudos to the entire Stone Oak staff! The nurse was incredibly sweet and attentive to how apprehensive I was, and Ed was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making sure I received the correct scan. I truly appreciate everyone who took the extra time to make sure everything was done correctly. Thank you to the Stone Oak team for turning what started as a frustrating experience into one that I can honestly give five stars.

Same message, it is "under review" and "we will call you back in 24 to 48 hours". Nothing happens, per Diane, the supervisor, it requires Gary Woodards, CEO's, approval. I have had Aetna on the phone with them twice advising them of the contract they have with Aetna and that this is in violation with their contract. Still nothing. Aetna is escalating as well with contracts.

The office was not that busy during the time I had went and I was called quickly. The staff was extremely nice, as well as the M.A.s. They made me feel like I was not just here for their paycheck. Long story short, I've had 3 pregnancy losses. I started bleeding at 9.5 weeks pregnant. Office wouldn't schedule me to get checked. The bleeding got worse, I made myself an appointment online. Confirmed at that appt there was no heartbeat. Had an emergency D&C at Methodist stone oak due to passing massive clots/ hemorrhaging. I get discharged, and told to call for a follow up. I call, they can't see me until 5-6 weeks post op (November 10th). They call me on Halloween saying the doc wants me to come in today. (Sure let me cancel my plans?!) I go in, they tell me I have to pay out of pocket because my insurance declined the last claim due to coordination of benefits. I'm upset, why do I pay for insurance if I can't use it?! I end up paying out of pocket ($150) JUST FOR THEM TO ONLY DO A PREGNANCY TEST. Dr. Patel comes in and I'm UPSET at this point.l and crying. It's traumatic to go to an office and see pregnant women everywhere after you just lost ANOTHER child. Then to be told I won't be seen if I don't pay private pay. The office has treated me terribly. Don't care about any concerns. Everything is on their time. Dr. Patel comes in. Doesn't introduce herself. Nothing. "Your pregnancy test is negative, I'm not worried about retained products. Are you still bleeding?" I say yes, she says okay could be a period or not. I'm not sure. I asked are we just doing a pregnancy test? No pelvic exam? I just paid $150 for a pregnancy test????????? I verbalize I'm upset at how this office has treated me. She states: "I understand but we don't allow ugly behavior in our office either." WHAT???????? What did I do that was so ugly???? Then. I get this in the mail a week later. This practice SUCKS. I will never return or recommend to anyone. I work in the medical field, and it's disheartening the way this practice has treated me.
