This office is a little older than the other one, but the quality in care is the same. Everyone I got to talk to during my time there was very attentive and took the time to listen to my needs. My appointment was with Ms. Ashlei Wooten and she was absolutely wonderful. I usually see Ms. Candace at the Huebner location, but I am glad to found a second nurse practitioner I can trust and that cares about your well-being. If you are looking for a new family doctor, I would highly recommend R Family Medical Group!

They are able to handle injuries well, efficient with what type of paperwork needs to be filled out. She was showing clear signs of increased work of breathing, including belly breathing, visible retractions, and complaints of chest and back pain with breathing. Her heart rate was 151, her respiratory rate was elevated, and her oxygen saturation was around 93%. As her parent, my biggest concern was how quickly her condition could worsen, and the possibility of her progressing into respiratory arrest. A paramedic had previously noted wheezing, yet Dr. Patrick stated her lung sounds were clear and did not appear concerned by how hard she was visibly working to breathe. I suggested that albuterol might help open her airway, but he told me it is only used for people with asthma, and no breathing treatment was offered. During the visit, he asked if she was up to date on her vaccines, and I answered no. After that, his tone noticeably changed, and the interaction no longer felt objective or supportive. When I explained that I would prefer for her to be seen by my clinical professor, who specializes in pediatrics as a nurse practitioner, he responded by saying there was "no such thing" as a nurse practitioner specializing in anything." At that point, I made the decision to leave. As I was walking out with my daughter, he made a comment in the hallway, in front of staff, saying "maybe you should vaccinate your kids." That was unprofessional, inappropriate, and completely unnecessary. As a nursing student, I have been taught that medical professionals should leave personal biases outside of the patient's room and remain aware of their own biases when providing care. In this situation, that standard was not met. Instead, it felt like my child's care was influenced by judgment, and the comment about vaccines was thrown in my face rather than handled professionally. I spend a significant amount of time in clinical settings shadowing nurses and have seen a range of bedside manners. Unfortunately, this was the worst bedside manner I have personally experienced. Parents bring their children to the ER expecting professionalism, compassion, and objective care. I left feeling that my daughter's respiratory distress was minimized and that the overall interaction lacked the level of care any patient deserves. I would not recommend this provider based on my experience with him. That said, this review does not reflect the practice as a whole. The nurse, paramedics, and Debbie who helped me were all amazing, and I truly appreciated the kindness and professionalism they showed during a very stressful situation.

Yep. Booked that day a month out with surgery scheduler Denise . I also had to obtain FMLA Paperwork from his office with Maria that was done in a timely manner and sent to my employer . NOW Today was my surgery at the Methodist Ambulatory Hospital and everything was perfect from checking in with Rosario, Pre-Op Nurse Jessica, OR Nurse Monique, OR Tech Dante, Recovery Nurse Shelly and my Anesthesiologist who I cannot recall her name but over all 10/10 experience from Day 1 to day of surgery. I've been home 7 hours and took pain meds an hour ago for first time but think the Exparel shots in surgery are why I'm not on extreme pain. I have never posted a negative review online but feel it is only fair to warn others. I'm submitting a complaint with the Texas Medical Board as well. I was very nervous about the procedures (unusually so, given I've had other surgeries), probably because I attended the funeral yesterday of a friend who died this week from a routine medical procedure at another facility. Anyway, I guess I was just looking for some reassurance from the doctor and the anesthetist. Instead, the doctor YELLED, yes YELLED at me in front of the two assisting nurses and the anesthetist, saying I was out of line to be concerned about dying or them making a medical mistake when they were "just there to help". He said he has "called off many procedures before for less talk" and that I needed to be quiet. I was put under sedation in a high state of shock, anxiety and in tears. I wanted to walk out of there and would have just left, but I had already taken the day off, had a friend there with me to drive me home, and had done all the paperwork and prep. He attacked me when I was most vulnerable. No one deserves to be treated that way. As far as the facility, which is owned in part by the doctor...the nurse, Carol, in the prep was nice enough. The post-op nurse attended to my vitals but made no comments of reassurance nor did she address my emotional state in any way as I lay there sobbing. The fact that the OR nurses and the rest of the staff seemed unphased by the doctor's explosion tells me I am not the first patient he's gone off on. I have no issues with the technical, medical competence of Dr. Mazloum or anyone I interacted with today. However, I cannot recommend this facility or staff, especially not the doctor or anesthetist, to anyone. At a minimum they lack patience and interest in your emotional state or concerns, and more importantly, I feel I was attacked and humiliated by the "professional" doctor, heightening my anxiety right before the procedure.

Dr Larrington had me wait in the comfort of Prestige until my hospital room was ready and an ambulance would transport me. And again, reassuring me it was covered. Then another staff member came and asked if I wanted to wait because it's their lunch and that's when I was informed of the 1 pm time. My husband is a medical professional and took off time to be with me but unfortunately had to return to work to see patients so now our moment to see the baby together and speak with the Dr. together is ruined. No words to explain the disappointment. The front desk is very unprofessional, immature, unapologetic, and cannot communicate. *** update *** I did blood work to find out the gender of my baby. I was told it would take 2 weeks to find out and I would be contacted by the office as soon as the results came in. 2 weeks came and went with no call. I ended up contacting the office myself to get the results. The results came in September 16, I called September 30. 14 days my results sat in the office and no phone call was made. She took her time and answered all my questions. I was induced by her recommendation at 38 weeks and although that process wasn't ideal, I have a healthy and happy baby. I'm grateful for their treatment and care. The nurses are all nice and friendly. The only staff member I didn't care too much for is one of the ladies up front who works at the check in and check out counter. She has short black hair but I never got her name. She can be rude and makes you feel rushed. I didn't care for her attitude but don't feel my rating should be impacted by one person.
