This is an unauthorized claim, I spoke with Geico and they confirmed it. I called the local office and spoke with two people who said that this is a training facility. Case in point the employees don't even know what they're doing. I spoke with the manager and he said he's only been there for two months and didn't know how to help he said. When I want to rent a car, I usually go with Budget (since I'm on a Budget), and I've had slightly better experiences overall with them than Avis, but honestly I do think they are the same company. If you want to rent a car near Memorial City, this is a good option for you as Avis/Budget is cheaper than most, and usually they have a car similar to what I need... But having said that it can be a really shady company, and if things go wrong well good luck because you probably on your own. You'll even be charged more for their own cars breaking down.

After all was said and done, the drive to this location was completely worth it. The customer service was extraordinary which is something that is hard to come by it seems. The gentleman who helped me was so straightforward and quick but he was also funny and nice. Clearly a really good guy. And if that wasn't enough, the car we rented was great. I booked a 9:00 AM reservation for a luxury car -- one of the only ones available anywhere in Houston. I showed up on time and walked into a completely empty office. No staff. No one in the lobby, no one in the back, and the front door left wide open and unlocked during business hours, they open at 8AM. A rental location, full of keys and cars, standing wide open with nobody watching it. I waited. After 10 minutes I called the number posted on a sign, and the guy who answered couldn't have cared less. Rude, dismissive, and his big solution was that I could either keep waiting or cancel. He claimed he was "stuck in traffic on I-10" -- the exact road I'd just driven, where there was none. I waited another 40 minutes anyway. He never showed. Not once. An online agent finally had to cancel my reservation, which left me stranded and paying for an Uber home after this location torched an hour of my morning for nothing. I'm a President's Circle member -- Hertz's top tier -- and this is how the day went. If this is the experience they hand their best customers, I can't imagine what everyone else gets. An abandoned, unlocked office and an employee who couldn't be bothered to do the one thing his job requires: show up. Book literally anywhere else.

I didn't know how long my repair was going to take and I needed a car to get home. So, I made a reservation online to pick up a car here. Within a few minutes, I received a voicemail saying deposit is $300 and other tips. The repair ended up being on the same day. I called to ask if I can change my contract but the office was closed. I waited till 10 am Saturday and they still haven't called. I went to the office, it was packed. I thought okay. No change and I'll return it on Monday. There seems to be some staffing shortage at this office. One person handles everything in the office. I saw 2 people moving cars in the lot. Returning my car was a breeze. I had to make sure that I bought gas. The vehicle had no issues. I had to take some pictures of the scratches and made sure they were aware. Because I didn't get an inspection report beforehand. My deposit was returned back to my bank account. I don't mind coming back but I'll check out other Enterprises first. It's hard to drive into the lot.

I rented a vehicle from this National location on Sunday and returned it Tuesday. When I returned…read morethe vehicle, there was no one to be found at the desk. So after waiting for the attendant, I dropped the keys in the drop box and went on to my other meetings that afternoon. I noticed that by that evening, my national app was still showing the rental as outstanding (not returned). I called this morning into customer service to check on it and understand why it didn't show as returned. The customer service center was unable to help me but said, we can send a note to the manager so they can get it resolved quickly. After not hearing from them for the entire business day, I called customer service back to confirm. Customer service then informed me that it could take up to 48 hours just to get a call back from the manager. Apparently that is "Quick" resolution. If you need to check into or out of this location quickly, don't... Find a different location. This is not the first time I have had issues at this location with no one being at the counter to process my rental. Seems a bit ridiculous that a manager or associate can't pick up the phone and let me know that they have handled it or if something else needs to be done. UPDATE: I have called 3 times in the last week and this still has not been resolved!!!! I have yet to even have someone call me back! Simply Unacceptable!
