Tubo Onalaja was fantastic! He was quick but professional and friendly, got me into my rental car and out of there very quickly. He also worked with me when the body shop my insurance chose tried to mess me over by claiming the wrong date of my vehicle return, which would have cost me out of pocket for a day of car rental. I would highly recommend this location, especially if you can deal with Tubo! And avoid Classic Collision for insurance body work. read more

I came to this Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Fondren and Westheimer was because my car was at Bemers Auto a couple of blocks away. I didn't know how long my repair was going to take and I needed a car to get home. So, I made a reservation online to pick up a car here. Within a few minutes, I received a voicemail saying deposit is $300 and other tips. The repair ended up being on the same day. I called to ask if I can change my contract but the office was closed. I waited till 10 am Saturday and they still haven't called. I went to the office, it was packed. I thought okay. No change and I'll return it on Monday. There seems to be some staffing shortage at this office. One person handles everything in the office. I saw 2 people moving cars in the lot. Returning my car was a breeze. I had to make sure that I bought gas. The vehicle had no issues. I had to take some pictures of the scratches and made sure they were aware. Because I didn't get an inspection report beforehand. My deposit was returned back to my bank account. I don't mind coming back but I'll check out other Enterprises first. It's hard to drive into the lot. read more

My rental was through insurance while my car was in the shop. Even after Enterprise was informed that the body shop would cover the remaining balance, I continued receiving repeated calls pressuring me to return the car and questioning payment. The lack of communication and unnecessary stress made this a frustrating experience. read more

I needed a vehicle as my car was in the body shop. Tubo (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) was awesome, any questions I had he answered. After picking up the car and driving off I noticed a few stains here and there as well as the gas cap wouldn't open up all the way. Called up to Tubo and he said not to worry and that he would handle it, he said to take pictures in which I did and when I went to turn it in he said not to worry about it and that I wouldn't be charged. Got my $300 deposit back that night. If anybody goes here ask for Tubo, he is the man. read more

Not sure what happened between the last time I rented from here and now, but wow, has it gone way downhill. So I got rear ended. Not a big deal, minor damage and whatnot. But I still would like to get it repaired which means dropping the car off at the body shop and then getting a rental car. State Farm arranged for me to get a rental from Enterprise and this is the closest location to the body shop. Started calling on Wednesday Oct 12 to check availability and I'd call back every single day to check availability because even though every single staff I had talked to would tell me they'd give me a call back, no one ever actually did. Expect to be put on hold for at least 30-40 minutes before anyone would pick up the phone. My last call to check the status of availability was today Oct 18, 2022 which means I've been calling this location every single day (except for Saturday and Sunday) and be put on hold for 30-40 minutes before speaking to anyone. Worst of all? I was on hold for 1 hour 15 minutes before the phone call got disconnected! One of the employees told me to call another location (Westheimer and Shadow Briar) because he said the system was showing availability there. I called that location (and of course got put on hold albeit a much shorter wait) and I was told that they had 15 confirmed confirmations with no availability AND other locations would not be able to check whether they have cars available or not. I've been putting off bringing my car into the shop because, how am I supposed to get around? Enterprise is of no help! No updates, no availability, can't get in touch with anyone easily. Unfortunately, I have to get my rental car from this location. I guess I'll try again later today or tomorrow. read more

I needed a car that insurance would pay for. Called and they said they have availability the next day and they can drop it at the body shop. On the day they said they're too busy to drop the car at the shop so I had to hire a ride there. When I got there they asked me to wait 20-45 min while someone walked in and indicated they just reserved online and walked out 20 min before they got me my car. Now after a months I see a $508 charge on my credit card which I have to call and find out what it is. Update: I called about the $508, they stated that I had returned the vehicle April 4th instead of March 22nd. I explained that I called enterprise, got their ok and dropped the car off at the shop on March22nd. Apparently they forgot to go get the car and charged me for it. They checked with the shop and refunded my $508, so I give them a star back, but it was a stressful couple of days. read more

First, a bone to pick: Yelp changing the 4-star rating to "good" from "I'm a fan". No, I'm not a fan because it's within walking distance from where I live. Enterprise had nothing to do with that. And I'm no I'm not a fan because it's across the street from an espresso spot; they didn't have anything to do with that either. What Enterprise does have to do with is providing reliable cars with professional and knowledgeable customer service. Yeah, it's difficult catching them by phone. But their off-site CS reps are trustworthy. So when this location is too busy to pick up, I don't feel like I'm taking a chance on some random phone rep because my experience with them is that they have the same info as this location and can act on their behalf if you need to reserve, modify or cancel a rental. And with any Enterprise, it's risky reserving something last minute but especially here. It's a small location, the staff here reps the brand, and they rep it so well that I bet it's one of the reasons why it'll go short-staffed to help another store that's short-staffed. That last one's just my guess after one of the associates mentioned, in passing, what can happen when things get super busy. This particular Enterprise can make the sacrifice while others might not be able to. Yeah, they're closed on Sunday and you've gotta wait until they open the gates during business hours on other days, even to return your rental. But a Sunday in Texas is a Sunday in Texas (#ActLikeYouKnow); and, personally, I choose to trust the owners as far as why they don't care for me - or anyone - dropping off a rental at any hour like other locations do. Saved me from hertz. My insurance set me up with the hertz right next to this enterprise location (I normally use enterprise). The customer service at hertz was awful, they wasted a whole day for me because their machine couldn't read my card and they had NO other option for payment and refused to help me in any way. After hours of horrible customer service, I had my insurance changed my reservation over to this enterprise location. BEST DECISION EVER. This enterprise location saved my butt- Brandyon was so lovely and kind. Within 1 hour she found a sedan for me, picked me up, took me to that location and checked me out (using the card Hertz claimed wasn't working.) It was fast, painless and customer service was amazing. Enterprise is the way to go. read more

Worst service ever! I called Friday morning to verify if there would be a rental available since I was taking it to the body shop Monday morning. The representative said they would have plenty of time to have something in by then so I had nothing to worry about. He even said I should expect a call later that day to confirm. Never did I receive a call. I even tried calling in advanced Monday morning before making it to the branch. When I arrived at the location they said they didn't have any vehicles available... I was stunned because it was not what I was told only 2 days ago. Cameron at the front desk couldn't even give me a reasonable solution other than I needed to jump from enterprise to enterprise until I find a location that has a vehicle available. I took the morning off of work to get this resolved. I called several times before even arriving to the location. Never got an answer. Even noticed when I was at the location Cameron kept silencing the phone as calls came in. And now I won't have a rental until possibly tomorrow. So I'm having to pay for Uber rides until then. Very disappointed with the overall service and system enterprise is running. My feedback is they should have better communication through each branch. No one seems to know what the other location down the road is doing and ultimately affects the customer experience. read more

Picked up a car with very little gas, and was told to return it with the same amount. Added quite a bit of gas (didn't want to be constantly stopping to add gas), and found I didn't use that much. So, ended up returning the car with a LOT more gas than when I picked it up. What did they do? Took it with no compensation back to me. Probabliy could have paid for an extra day's rental with the gas I wasted. BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU RENT FROM THEM. Great place for a rental. It was close to the body shop I used and they picked me up as soon as I called them. I requested a Toyota Corolla or equivalent and I ended up with a red Volkswagen Beetle, which I don't totally agree with. I didn't complain, though, but I'm sure they would have done what they could to fix it. Of course, maybe Enterprise thinks Corolla = Beetle. It doesn't. But the Beetle was clean and nice so no big deal. Anyway, the customer service was fantastic and the transaction was as easy as it gets. I would happily rent from this location again. read more

So, we all know renting a car sucks. I've been to many other Enterprises and nearly always had a horrible experience. However, when in Houston, I always specifically come to this Enterprise location even when it's not the closest one to my destination. I do this because I have received nothing but excellent customer service, since 2011. The staff is friendly, attentive, and competent, there have never been any issues with my reservation or pricing, my pick-ups/drop-offs have always been on time, and they always answer the phone. These points may seem pretty basic for any successful business, but are rare in the car rental industry. I highly recommend. read more

The overall experience was ok I was able to get the car after about 45 min of talking which could have been corrected if the rep was listening to what was being said. I was an employee driving a rental from here. Vehicle was excellent staff was initially friendly, so they get those to stars. Attitude changed once a question with the insurance came up(enterprise's error) to snippy, distant and rude. Returned vehicle and was assured I could get s ride back to work a short distance away. Got there and was told driver was out and brb. Waited twenty minutes while the two employees laughed it up and one called a enterprise vehicle "crappy" I then left to call my work or walk in the 90 sun. "Oh you need a ride" says one rep finally. Get in car, rep frets that she needs gas and where a gas station is. Assured her work was close. Checked text messages on phone while driving in traffic. Twice. Again asked about gas two streets from my work. Dropped off, then again ignorant of the area where she works, asks about gas. I told her its westheimer , look around. Wow what a bumbling experience after them receiving hundreds of dollars. I will not use them for personal use read more
