Enterprise tried to rent me a car that smelled like smoke. So I googled car rental places and found Budget/Avis. I wanted to rent a Chevy Tahoe and they didn't have any in, but had one coming in so Nick said that he would call me when it came in. About an hour went by and Nick called and I rented an almost new Chevy Tahoe. I rented the vehicle for about a month and when Progressive didn't want to pay the entire bill, Nick and his staff again stepped in and explained to the claims guy how they charged and Progressive payed the whole amount. Nick and his staff should be commended by management!!!! If I ever have to rent a vehicle again, I will be back. Thank you very much!!!!!

Was told by manager Edwin that all was good but he'd call me on 7/10 if there was a problem. When we went on 7/11 there was no truck! We arrived before the place opened to ensure we were the first there. Edwin told us there was no truck. Edwin told us to call the West Allis location, when I asked to speak to the manager he said he was the mgr. He refused to call West Allis and told me to do it. There were no other customers. We spent 4 hrs and went to Uhaul to get a truck. Because of Budgets screw up we had to get a 26' truck and spend an additional $1,000! Plus additional gas money for the bigger truck. We only needed a 16' truck. We were moving from WI to FL and had flights and Helping Hand movers to unload scheduled to deal with and couldn't change the dates. Then when I get to FL I see a $150 charge on my Visa from Budget for a NON Return of a Truck to OK. WE NEVER GOT A TRUCK NOR WERE SUPPOSED TO RETURN IT TO OK. If we had gotten a truck it would have been returned to Leesburg, FL per the order confirmation. I would give it negative stars if I could.

It's convenient and for the price it's good especially during the winter months. I also use the dog wash area for my shepherd mix. They got me into a loaner truck while they worked on my baby. They even re-glued the door ding guards twice after it left their shop. Everything was fantastic. It was a total 5 star experience! Fast forward to March 2018...... I hit a deer. Driving for 20 years and it finally happened. Called Budget before I even heard back from my insurance company. The girl that answered the phone was almost rude. I made an appt to bring my baby back in for an estimate and to glue those darn door guards again. Jamie came out and took pictures for the estimate. I told him that after the impact, my check engine light came on. He didn't seem to care..... He did assure me that he would check, and if it was deemed to be due to the accident, it would get fixed. He did not check the code at all at that time. I then asked if I could get a loaner truck while he fixed it. He told me that they never do that. He seemed more difficult to deal with. This is not the experience I got last time at all. Maybe he was having a bad day. So he went to get the estimate ready. I didn't even get a paper copy of the estimate. I had to find out the number from the insurance company. I called a couple hours after I left to see if it was ready, and the office girl told me very rudely that 2 more people came in after I left and he was busy helping them. That didn't seem to be a very good excuse either. I mean, I was there first. Shouldn't he have been getting my stuff ready instead of helping other people? So 2 days later, I finally get the go-ahead to stop by and pick up a paper copy of the estimate. The office girl basically threw it at me. That was THE LAST STRAW. So I cancelled my appt to get the front end repaired at this shop. But I still needed to get those stupid door guards glued back on. So I tried to set up an appt to do that. I was told that I have to leave work early so I could be here before 3:00. So, here I sit. In their lobby. Waiting while they glue those guards back on. I made sure to be here by 1:30. The last 2 times it took 15 minutes to glue it and be done. This time I have been here sitting for 70 minutes as of now. Jamie has said like 10 words to me, the office girl has walked past me 10 times and hasn't said a word. Also kind of rude. Honestly, I will prolly never return here to have work done. Budget Truck and Auto did a great job on my auto body work! I had some rear end damage from a…read moreparking lot accident and they repaired the back end of my Subaru to look like brand new! They gave me a free loaner car to use for the week and only expected that I return it with a full tank of gas. When I picked up my car I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had cleaned and scrubbed all of the floor carpets. There wasn't any evidence of the dog hair that was once everywhere. They did a great job. I would definitely do business with them again in the future.
