They didn't even acknowledge me walking in. When they eventually did, they claimed they could only hold a reservation for an hour max and they didn't have a car for me. I looked it up, Hertz should hold your reservation for 2 hours so I'll be calling corporate tomorrow about a training opportunity for the staff that was present. The reason for the bad review is how I was treated. Ok fine you don't have a car, but that's no reason to verbally attack me. They were antagonistic and extremely rude. I got yelled at in front of 4 other patrons for 'showing up late and my car being given away was not their problem'. Very unprofessional and apparently don't know their own corporate policy.

That is already breaking a contract when a rental car is signed by someone to being the only key holder. Correct okay So Keep in mind my car is in front of my house so of course my parents are awaken from a big loud noise outside it is around 2 a.m so when my parents look out the window they realize they had hit my Car, so as soon as they see they went ahead and woke me up and tell me that the car that just hit my car was outside ! that's when i must of raced out my house to go see what had happened so when i got out and started walking towards the jeep that had just rear ended my car was still in the corner, and slowly tried to drive away so that when i had to road rage chase him, I'm beeping beeping trying to have the driver pull over that's when he rolled down his window and He pretty much looked either drunk or drugged african american man prolly in 30's and a Female passenger which apparently to elco since the key holder being a female was not driving they wont pay for the damages on my car ? Anywho so we exchanged words by a stop sigh and that's when i tell him do you realize what you just did are paying for my car damages ? And he goes what? Whatt ? Alright pullover and so i did & but clearly his not in his right mind so this man wants to go head and drive off, so I literally drove after him for a block , that's when i was trying to get a clear picture of his license plate so that said this guy is not giving up and i had to just stop going after them. That's when i called Chicago police and made a hit and run report 30 mins later and of course the jeep wrangler bumper still by the accident scene and when they searched the car plate # it ended to enterprise Rent a Car rental (lombard), so i get a hold of the rental place i get send to elco to submit a claim which i stated what had happened and after 3 days they get a hold of the renter ? Rlly she stated she was not involved in any accident and when she saw her car sat it was already like that and she claims she was the only access to the car keys, So is this ignorant lady is denying the hit and run and also breaking contract with the rental place for having that male drive the rental ofcourse she already deep in hole so all she can do is lie now, They are so lucky they weren't caught by police that night because ohh boy would of been sleeping real warm in a jail cell ! They don't leave me no choice to sue this lady now She's about to have the run of her life, it is not okay it would be so easy to just admit the truth and have consequences for your actions grown as people karma rem that ! & elco if i can sue you as well i will because you aren't dumb of course regardless your cars get fixed right away ! & your so smart in order to not get my car fixed which happened with their rental regardless of who was driving it, they will go head and take the rentals side even if you clearly have proof just for them to pocket their money ! Rented a car from Budget Car in Chicago on 12/29/18 at around 1:30PM, to be returned at Milwaukee…read moreair port on 12/30/18 at 4:30AM. When I arrived the rental counter was closed. There was a box on he counter, with instructions to place the key and the paperwork into it. A few other customers had the same situation while I was there. I received a phone call 1/7/19 asking when I was going to return the car. I explained that the rental counter was closed and that I put the keys in the box 12/30/18. I had her check that I was not charged for the extra days, she told I was only charged $34.40 my original cost. When I received my credit card bill on 2/1/19 and I was charged $150.45. I called the customer service 800-214-6094, they told that the car wasn't checked in until after 1:30PM. So that meant I had the car over 24 hours and that was the extra charge on my credit card. I explained every thing again. After a long conversation I will be receiving a refund of $116.05. I will have to wait until my next credit card bill. It is not my fault that the rental counter was closed.

No one answered. Waited 10 minutes. Finally she arrived from the back. Went to inspect the vehicle. She came back and told me there was dog hair in the back of the vehicle. She showed me. I nearly laughed out loud. There were maybe 5 or 6 hairs stuck on the back seat. Um, ok, I didn't have my dogs in the vehicle, but obviously hairs stick to clothing and transfer. She said I had to go take it and vacuum it out at a car wash or else they would charge me $250. What a joke. Even though they were still going to vacuum out the vehicle themselves after I brought it back. I said "don't you guys vacuum out the vehicle???" And she said yes. So she still made me drive to a car wash and vacuum out the 5 minuscule dog hairs she found. Needless to say, I'll never use budget car rental again nor will I ever recommend them.
