Their hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays. I show up at 8:00 to pick up my car every time I rent from them, and 99 times out of 100, the doors are locked. The "managers" don't show up until 8:20 to 9:00, so a group of people is almost always waiting in the parking lot when they finally arrive. They have never once apologized for keeping everyone waiting. Wouldn't recommend ever renting from them if you actually want to get somewhere on time after picking up your car! I've tried to call Avis to complain several times and each time, I've been disconnected. The "Customer Service" team doesn't seem to care that the service is awful. read more

I had to wait 45 minutes to pick up a pre-reserved car here. I stood there awkwardly for 30 minutes before I was even acknowledged by a custom service rep. Needless to say, this made me late for every meeting (three!) I had afterwards. Luckily, all the folks I was meeting with were understanding and I managed to still make my flight - but obviously the rental car delay did not help. I had made a reservation with Budget about six days prior. It should have been a warning sign early on that I never got a reservation confirmation email. I had to call two days prior to rental day to even confirm that I had the reservation. This location is greatly understaffed, with two people only - one for managing the incoming and dropping-off customers and one for prepping and fetching the cars. This location also serves as both the Avis AND the Budget office. They were totally backed up helping a customer who couldn't afford her reservation (using a debit card) and cleaning / preparing cars for the incoming stream of customers. I had a budget friendly reservation as I was dropping off at IAD (moving an asset from an underutilized location to a highly leveraged location) during the holiday season, but don't have an interest in booking here again. read more
