When…read moreconfronted with the extra change he immediately turned hostile and confrontational when questioned. Of course a customer is going to be upset for a charge they were not expecting . Had he taken 30 seconds to explain the charge before charging it, things would not have escalated. Instead he said if you are going to be confrontational he would cancel the rental. . I did not become confrontational until he turned hostile over the questioning of the fee. He clearly did not want to do the work to resolve the additional charge. Which was avoidable. Time would have been saved had he disclosed the fee from the start. But because he didn't, it created more work for himself and he clearly didn't want to do more work. When he canceled the reservation (after charging my credit card) and he refused to provide proof. He did not even process it so that it would generate an automatic email. Sadly this one of the only non-airport locations open on Sunday in the area. Just before him "helping" me he had a dispute with another customer over charges and they also left without renting. I've been to other enterprises and never had an issue. This was one of the oddest encounters.

Do NOT come here! Biggest scam company I've ever come across. There's an Enterprise down the street…read morethat's actually an honest company. Someone hits my car, but luckily the driver is responsible (which is not something I can say about Rent-a-Scam here) and reported the accident. As such, their insurance company agreed to cover all of the costs of the repair and rental car. Despite this, I was forced to provide a credit card but was reassured that it was just a formality. Three days after I return the car my credit card is charged for $151. Can't believe they lied straight to my face. I called them immediately and was told by a guy named Micah, "oh yeah I see you returned the car on time and there wasn't anything wrong with the car, I'm not sure why you were charged - let me talk to my manager". I get a call back the next day that they would provide a refund. This was March 23, over a month ago and no sign of a refund. I have called again and the same guy Micah said to e-mail the manager because for some reason he doesn't know how to e-mail himself (the company is clearly all around incompetent). E-mailed the branch manager, James Ney, and no reply. It's been a month - I shouldn't have to beg for my own money, lol. If anyone has been in a car accident and has had to file an insurance claim, you know the process for getting insurance to pay can take weeks. I was already weeks without a car. I had to ask coworkers to pick me up and take me home. So to add insult to injury on an already awful situation, I'm out $151. Way to go, Hertz. You've successfully scammed me for your own selfish benefit. I hope everyone else reads this and stay away so they can avoid renting from a seriously shady company.

Last weekend, I rented a minivan from Budget in Norwood, MA to my daughter graduation and helped…read moreher to move out, it was the best rental experience I had. I tried for a long time to secure a minivan for this trip but no luck from the website. I talked to Tom and he suggested me to reserve the biggest car possible from the website and he would see what he can do. Then he went above and beyond to secure a minivan for me from the nearby Budget location and also gave me an excellent price. In the past four years, I travelled to Princeton at least 2-3 times a year to see my daughter, Tom always gave me the best car in the lot and listened attentively to my questions. His customer services is superb. Even though it is a long drive to Princeton, but the rental experience with Budget in the past four years made my journeys enjoyable and memorable thanks to the top notch friendly and very professional customer service I've received from Tom.

By far the best Hertz experience I have had in my 5-6 rentals. I've had an issue almost every other…read moretime that I have dealt with Hertz but this place was quick and easy to solve every question and concern that arose. When I called to confirm because I was confused a bit by the app which had me picking up at "Boston Executive FBO", they quickly explained the situation, moved my location accordingly and even got me a lower rate than I was seeing online. I also had to call another time to verify some info and both times were pleasant experiences. When picking up here in person the process was seamless. The gentleman who helped me was very friendly and quick to get us out the door. The van we rented (for a fantastic price) was also in amazing shape compared to our previous van rental in Pittsburgh. Very happy with the experience at this particular location!
