My insurance company send me to them and due to the lack of the cars he had to give me his only vehicle in his inventory. 5-6 days later that car had an alarm issue in the middle of the night . They had to replace the vehicle and he told me that he will mark it as 0 gas, then he charged me for gas. Shamel was texting me like he was texting his friend or family member. He would text me as early as 7 am asking for re-write of the contract. I called them and spoke with Christina and she extended my contract. Day later he called me and started "whats up buddy? Whats going on with your car?" I told him that I already extended my contract with Christina, he went off and started yelling at Christina and telling that "she is new and she does not aware of the situation with?" And I asked him "what situation? The vehicle had an alarm issue that went off at 5 am or lack of cars that you have or lack of respect?". He needs to learn some professional manners, instead he feeds his little ego in front of his co-workers while he retaliates with customers.

The clerk told me it was ready to go but I saw the last customer leaving the vehicle and asked her if they cleaned their cars between rentals. She said in this case she could give me "a cleaning wipe to use" myself. That was my first red flag, but I was in need of the car so I went ahead and authorized the rental agreement. She then said they would run a $200 security deposit that "would be returned if the car was returned in the same condition." At this point I had second thoughts about this place and said I wanted to check another place before I decided to rent this unclean minivan. The woman at the counter (Kelly maybe?) said she would gladly rip up the agreement should I decide not to rent it. I never touched the car, and she drove it around back. Twenty minutes later I called Star but got their voicemail. I left a clear message telling them to cancel the rental. I thought we were good. When I got home from the trip I noticed the $200 security deposit was charged to my CC even though I had canceled the rental and the clerk told me the agreement would be "ripped up" should I decide not to rent there. I just disputed the charge with my CC company and am awaiting their investigation into the matter. But I'm hoping Star will do the right thing, realize their mistake, and refund my $200 (without CC intervention) so we can put this behind us. I'll let you know what happens!!

There were no prior text/email/call about where to meet at the airport between when I booked the transport and the day of my travel, yes we communicated once we were on ground by letting them know where I was and asking for where I can meet my driver. I only heard from company about 'he will be there shortly'. Yes we arrived early and as a result we had to wait for 45 min but as the operator commented to me recently that office or assigned driver don't follow the flight status of clients which they have all the information from the time of reservation. I understand the traffic is bad near BOS area, and there can be delays. All I ask is some form of communication before my flight heading to Boston about driver, and the fact that he/she needs to stay with his vehicle and letting me know where I need to go to find my transportation. This was not the first time I have used professional transportation service (non-Lyft, non-Uber. Old school Limo, Black SUV, etc.) in other metropolitan area in both East and West coast and I never had to look for my driver. They were their looking for me regardless of my flight was delayed or arriving early.
