    I have used this Enterprise Rent-A-Car twice when my car was at the body shop. The first time I…read moreused them, I was given a rental of a comparable level to my car, so I assumed that would be the same this time, but it wasn't. Not only that, I was given a dirty car. She claimed the marks were from snow. Snow is water, and this was salt, as they did not wash it properly. The tire rims were rusting. The seats and windows were dirty too. Usually rentals have a full tank of gas, and this was at a quarter of a tank. There was an issue with the billing, too. It was not set up to go through the insurance, and they had me as self-pay. I think that is why I got the worst car on the lot. She even commented on that. I'm not sure who was at fault for that issue, but I got it corrected. I did request another car, but I never heard back from them, so the customer service at this branch is lacking. I did not like how it drove, and I could feel every bump in the road, and the steering wheel was too low. It was adjustable but I moved it as far as it would go. I know I never want to own a Nissan, although it could have just been this car. Thankfully, my car was ready 4 days early, and I was glad to get my vehicle back and get rid of the rental. If I need another rental, I will see what other options are available.

This is now the second time I've reserved a specific type of vehicle, only to be notified about an hour before pickup that the car was not available. Most recently, this occurred at the Henderson location. Previously, I arrived in person and was told the vehicle I reserved was not available. Due to that prior experience, I proactively called two days in advance this time to confirm availability. Despite that effort, I was still not informed that the vehicle would not be available until the last minute. I also contacted the Wake Forest locations (Main Street and Lois Road), and both stated they did not have the vehicle type either. This raises a serious concern: why are customers not informed upfront or at the time of reservation that inventory is unavailable? This pattern shows a lack of communication, poor planning, and disregard for customers' time. Reliable service is essential when customers depend on rental vehicles, and these repeated failures have been extremely inconvenient. I would appreciate an explanation of how reservations are handled and what steps will be taken to prevent this from happening again. If you had recalls of cars get replace do not make it a customers problem.

The tire rims were rusting as the salt was not properly removed from the vehicle that came from the north. The seats and windows were dirty too. It is disappointing that there are no standards to keep anymore at this Enterprise. Usually, rentals I have had in the past came with a full tank of gas, and this was at a quarter of a tank. Why didn't they just call and ask what type of vehicle would meet my needs during the repairs? The Lois Lane Customer Service is nonexistent. You have to PAY EXTRA TO USE THE CRUISE CONTROL, not to mention to link your phone/map to the console display, even for just music or Bluetooth calling features, AFTER booking early and paying extra for a larger non-economy rental. It has to cost them MORE to block these features than they make on the extra miniscule cost of the use of these features by consumers who already have Toyota/Apple accounts... an embarrassing, absolutely SHAMELESS, UNCONSCIONABLE PRICE-GOUGING CASH GRAB by an already unconscionable corporate entity. How American of Budget... way to exploit our already struggling middle class who just want to see their kid play college ball in another state (for a public university already price gouging for a mediocre education that has us in debt. I sent an email to Budget asking them to explain the difference. No response. 3. Also, since they share the facility with Avis and a third rental agency, VERY long lines to sign in. 4. No one present when you turn in the car. 5. Any help required you to be a "member" of their rental community; I had not traveled in three years due to Covid. Strongly suggest finding another rental company at RDU airport.
