I went through a lot of trouble to get the car in, including $50 in gas when the tank wasn't even full when it was given to me. I would not have returned the car early if I knew they would be billing me $100 extra otherwise.

His reason apparently was because I questioned him about the necessity of extended ID. There were nice cars on this lot to be rented, but his refusal was extremely inappropriate. He needs to be replaced as he is a 'poor' representative of Enterprise. Do go elsewhere when renting a car!

Not dependable, not reliable, bad business practices…read more I will never use Enterprise again. I am a young woman moving by myself out of college. I booked a week in advance a mini van to move my things. Day of my rental, two hours before pick up, This enterprise branch called me to cancel my reservation. I have no car for my move. You say you're family owned, but you've left me with no choices or options ! They did try to offer a much smaller vehicle, but that would involve me throwing out half my belongings. I asked for a big van for a reason, almost a week in advance, only to have it cancelled the day of, less than two hours before pick up. After talking to headquarters, they agree that this was unprofessional behavior to cancel a reservation day of that was made a week in advance. DONT USE this location or enterprise at all if you can help it. I am a student leader at VTech and I'm trying to spread the word via emails and social media posts to Hokies, VT students and families - Enterprise in Roanoke is completely unreliable. I don't want another student to get stuck. Take your business elsewhere : Alamo, Budget Truck Rental in Christiansburg or National. Alamo, out of the Roanoke airport, saved the day for me and offered an awesome new 2018 van, very last minute and the price for renting it day of was less than what I had originally reserved enterprise for a week in advance.
