This is hands down my favorite enterprise. The one on melrose and Williamson rd are terrible. They always provide me a clean car that doesn't smell like cigarettes. AAA set me up with them in a no fault accident. The pick up went well. Got the car, insurance pays, no fault. Yet, when I was leaving on May 20th 2025,.. at 1:30 pm .. the desk guy asked when I was in the car, he asked me if I was looking for another car. I said yes but NO, I do NOT need help. I never gave them permission to give out my name, my number, my email. . . He gave my name the sales department!!!! I never agreed! In 24 hours I had multiple emails, phone call, and texts. In one day! I never gave permission to pass on my name on to sales department!! Just 24hs with a rental. They are calling in wee hours of morning.. messaging constantly,.. They are like a tick you can't get rid of!! Stop bothering me! Do not give a customer's name out without clear and direct permission!!! Do not try to sell me a car. What part of, "I don't need Enterprizes help blah blah...not looking for what you have" did they not understand?!! Only one day with the car rental company and they won't leave me alone. Customer services waiting for me after hours because of a delayed flight. After a long day of travel, the rental process was quick and easy. They were very nice and helpful, understanding that I wanted to be on my way as quickly as possible. There was a small issue with the rental (didn't affect the trip at all) but John the manager responded quickly and made my satisfaction as a customer a priority. I will be traveling quarterly here from the West Coast and will only use Enterprise! read more

This place allowed my boyfriend to rent a car from them with an out of state license and only a debit card, and now he is stuck 8 hours away from home because apparently this isn't standard practice for Enterprise. Next time instead of wanting money right away, try to be upfront and honest with the people you're renting to so they won't be screwed over and STUCK with no options trying to get back home. Visiting Roanoke for a short stay over 4th of July weekend and needed a car since my son had to work a couple of the days we were there. Enterprise was close to our motel and their representative was there within minutes of my call. Made the reservation online and check out was easy. Since the location was closed on Sunday we used the key-drop for easy drop-off and received out receipt promptly via e-mail. No muss, no fuss! Only problem was my fault in not fully reading Amtrak's Guest Rewards offer for points via a "link" with Enterprise. Needed to include the Guest Rewards "code" when making the reservation. Contacted Amtrak and they said call Enterprise. Called Enterprise. They said contact Amtrak - but Enterprise did take the info and said they would refer the request to their airline points desk. Still hoping to get at least some points - and now know HOW to make reservations to get Amtrak points. read more

It just really depends on who you speak to. Lisa is very nice. Regardless there are not a lot of choices. My car was rear ended, towed, so I didn't have choice. Hertz was other option, however at same time they were out of vehicles. Finally, though I was able to get set-up. read more

I attempted to rent a car from this location as I have several times in the past. They would not let me because of policies that had changed that I was not aware of. Not only was I stranded without a car, but the men that worked made me feel like I was an idiot for not knowing what was required. They said is was online on a link at the bottom of a page that said Additional Information. As a returning customer, why would I need to search through links online to learn of some policy I didn't know existed and was never required of me before? The men working also informed me that the previous employees we're all fired for not doing their jobs. There was zero empathy for my situation and unprofessional dialogue about previous employers and policies. read more

Pickup and return was a breeze. The car ran beautifully, everyone was very kind and it was a very easy process.

My husband and I rented a car recently for a trip up north, and we couldn't have been happier! The first car we received was the only one they had available at the time, a Nissan Versa Note. While a lovely car with very low miles and that "new car smell," my legs were just a bit too long for it to be comfortable. When I contacted Enterprise, they handled the issue very quickly, professionally, and most of all - warmly. It was clear they were happy to help out in any way they could. The second car, a Nissan Altima, was absolutely perfect in every way. The whole experience, from beginning to end, was seamless, easy and quick. The staff at the Enterprise location were helpful and more than willing to go above and beyond. I can't wait until our next rental! read more

I recently rented a Hyundai from this location. My check-out and check-in were handled quickly and courteously. Car had 30,000 miles on it (a 2015 model) and was spotless inside and out. I have rented from this location on 3 occasions over the last 3 years; each time I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Twice the vehicles were almost new Hyundai sedans; both of which I was very impressed with. Last weekend I rented a Chrysler 200 (approx. 32k miles) in excellent condition - fully loaded. Although not a fan of this particular car i can't fault the staff at the Tanglewood office. They couldn't have been nicer to do business with and I will continue to rent from this office whenever I need a rental. read more
