Do not recommend this gym. The owner Alonso, runs this gym on a power trip. Very unprofessional. Throws in cancellation fees when they are not in writing nor verbally mentioned. Leads with emotion, gossips about his trainers when being challenged and confronted with the truth. Speaks down to his trainers when he is faced with something he does not like. Wants to correct people on moral when he himself has No moral or integrity whatsoever. It's sad because the trainer community is kind, but sadly their owner does not want them to branch out and grow surpassing him. read more

This gym is amazing ! It's maintained well and clean. I highly recommend the glute camp. It's definitely worth it. It will challenge you despite if you've been working out for years. Scheduled boxing lessons with Erik and paid the $220 which is half for the 8 week session. Had a change in schedule for work which was out of my control did not allow me to be available for the next 10 weeks. He offered to let me hold onto my spot, but we had not even started and I asked for a refund and I could restart again schedule permitting. He insisted he had to keep half of the deposit. I argued that he could keep one day's worth of a lesson because of my cancelling 24 hours before, but he said he had to keep the $110 because he needs to keep his business running smooth and that he usually keeps all of the deposit. Just like someone said below, throws in cancellation fees when they are not in writing nor verbally mentioned. Has no sense of empathy or willing to work with individuals with different situations, just wants the money grab. His training looks fine and that is not the issue, do not come here if you are a professional or have a family and may need to cancel here and there because you will be charged without any remorse. Looks like I am not the only one who dealt with this at this gym. I should have never booked without asking about the cancellation process, but Erik was so nice and accommodating when he was getting paid. The moment I asked for leniency because of my work schedule (I am a Registered Nurse), he could not help one bit. I have been training with Alonso since 2016 and it has been one of the best decisions I've made! His strength training program is AMAZING and has really allowed me to take it to the next level. I knew about Avlution for a long time but just never took the leap to try it out for one reason or the other until August 2021. I had major toe surgery in May 2021 from an injury I acquired the former gym I attended. I was off my feet for 8 weeks...brutal to say the least. Before joining Avlution I didn't know what it really meant to build muscle or how to do it. I had been an avid gym-goer for YEARS and yes I lost weight but I was doing crazy cardio and felt depleted all the time. If I smelled food I gained weight and it was because I was in a calorie deficit ALL the time (not good). Well I made the change over to Avlution and OMG! It's a whole new level of training!!!
