Well, updating my review about La Cucina Trattoria…read more Sad to find out that the best food in town is gone. To all the staff and Jesse Garg, owner of La Cucina, we all wish you the best of luck. You will be sorely missed. Sadly, my family was heading to La Cucina, when we realized what happened. So, we tried Katys restaurant. The whole look is simple, but friendly. The hand painted murals are sadly gone and the "Italian beauty" of La Cucina is no more. But the food, the staff, and the owners are very motivated to make this place, the best family friendly/ community friendly place in Fallbrook. Too bad it took the closing of the nicest restaurant in Fallbrook to bring Katys to existence. Good luck to Katys in the future. P.S., the brisket hash and the San Fran burger is to die for. :o)

I would compare it to hospital cafeteria salad. I would expect an Italian restaurant to have good Italian dressing. It wasn't bad but tasted like cheap bottled Italian. The restaurant itself is NICE. It's clean, decorated nicely, and quite spacious. The staff - so nice, friendly, and welcoming. I will go back because the Indian food is great, I want them to succeed (small business), staff is great, and it's a very nice looking restaurant. I just wish their salad and salad dressing was better. Note* This place is BIG and seems like it would be perfect for events!

They have unique wines infused in whiskey barrels. I had their Chardonnay which had a slight taste of whiskey in it but I thought it was pretty good. I also tried their pepperoni and sausage flat bread which also was pretty tasty. We were greeted by "Whiskey" the cat and as we were told apparently he was a stray and greets everyone as they arrive which was cute. They have misters which helped a lot with the heat.

Called 20+ Vineyard and put my requirements and was chose Crystal hill as my choice, I am so glad I made that decision. Best wine, amazing scenery, very private, kid friendly, pet friendly most of all sweetest Staff you will ever find. This is the best winery of Ramona by far and exactly what we were looking for. The view is stunning and beautiful view, atmosphere is very relaxing. Wine choices we were excellent, Excellent wine, especially the whiskey barrel wines! Wine Choices: We initially ordered wine flights, double and singles an we choose the below bottles from there. 1. 2016 Stone Lake Merlot 2. 2016 Whiskey Stone Lake Merlot 3. 2019 Malbec Rose 4. 2017 Whiskey Rose They even have food; their flatbread is amazing too. The Staff and owners were very nice, as we were having good time Scott the owner took the kids, around 10 of them to a short hike and showed them around the property and vineyard, kids had good time while adults were drinking up. Meanwhile Kristy engaged the smaller kids. It was all fun and everyone had fun. Special kudos to the lovely bartenders. If you are looking for great wines, amazing views, comfortable atmosphere, great staff, kid friendly, pet friendly, this is the place. We are going back soon

From the moment you arrive, the host is very welcoming and makes you feel comfortable right away. We ordered the Caesar salad, the short rib pappardelle, and the rigatoni vodka with shrimp, and every dish was outstanding. The flavors were rich, well balanced, and clearly prepared with care. Overall, great food, excellent service, and a very enjoyable atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back.

You get one free bread basket (of 6 pieces) and some olive oil with balsamic vinegar. I found it interesting that they charged $2.50 for every bread basket after, but ultimately I didn't ask for more. The staff was nice and friendly and checked on us enough. I ordered the pasta of the day, a tortellacci pasta with short rib and cheese covered in a cream demi glaze sauce, and my partner ordered the ravioli al formaggio di capra, a goat cheese and parmesan cheese stuffed ravioli with spinach and tomato cream sauce. Upon arrival, my dish looked quite lackluster. It was about 5 pieces of stuffed pasta covered in a beige sauce and dribbled with squares of short rib. There was a thin film over the sauce, which made me think it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a bit, which would have been okay if the food was good. The taste was underwhelming yet a little too salty. I should have taken a picture of the food, but imagine a hamburger helper beef stroganoff colored pasta sauce--bland and tan. My partner described his dish as something that was once frozen, then reheated, as the pasta felt a little undercooked. He says it was "mid" but "not as bad as Olive Garden". Overall, this place seems nice for a few drinks and maybe some apps. It's possible that we ordered their weakest dishes, but I fear I will not be returning to find out.

Found this company a couple months ago when inquiring about a wine tour to Valle de Guadalupe…read more Unfortunately, they were booked out but Jane was kind enough to not only connect me with another person in the industry who could offer the tour location we wanted AND offer us a package for a different location. I was truly blown away by her transparency and her communication so I decided to proceed with her company. It was super easy to coordinate the logistics and itinerary. Not only was the itinerary perfectly curated, but she went above and beyond to make my group feel celebrated and appreciated. She congratulated my group on our accomplishments and even got me a cute "bride" headband to celebrate my recent engagement. Very sweet and thoughtful! In addition, safety is clearly a top priority. The date we chose happened to be an extremely hot day and Jane took initiative to rearrange our itinerary to make sure we could still enjoy the day and keep as cool as possible. Lunch was catered from a local farm to table local business and it was absolutely delicious- definitely make sure you have enough appetite to enjoy it! We also paid extra for a wine and cheese pairing and we are SO glad we did. Some things to consider/ tips: 1. Our day started a little rocky due to inevitable traffic and a wrong turn, but Jane quickly resolved the issue with the driver and we had a great time moving forward. If you have the option to board your shuttle early definitely do it. 2. Time at each winery is pretty limited.. you won't have too much time to take all the photos you'd like AND sit and enjoy your tastings per winery visit.. if you're determined to get a good selection of photos bring your glass with you and do your best to keep up with those just tasting. There were a few moments we felt a bit rushed because we wanted to do both. 3. If music selection on your shuttle is important to you, have the person in charge of tunes arrive to the shuttle early to set up the blue tooth. It was trickier to set up than we aniticpated so there was a good 20 minutes of silence and troubleshooting happening as we were on the road Overall, Jane is a SUPERB host and does everything in her power to make sure you have the best experience. If i wasn't moving soon I'd definitely want to book this experience again!

My friend had a Groupon but missed pulling the trigger on an online reservation. Luckily she called the company and they were kind enough to get us scheduled in for that same day. My friend and I appreciated being given a choice as to which to focus on - wine or wine country. Our vote was a little more country.  The tour took us through grapevines where we sampled grapes at different stages of ripening.  We sipped some great wine and had a delicious Neapolitan pizza from Pizza Bina at Chapin Family Vineyards.
