Fallbrook Winery was the perfect final stop on our Fallbrook Wine Tours adventure--a truly memorable way to wrap up the day. Set on a beautiful 36-acre estate nestled between the Pacific Coast and the Pala Mountains, this family‑run winery offered a warm, welcoming atmosphere where vines meet artistry A Refreshing Turnaround in Taste Unlike a previous festival tasting that left us underwhelmed, the wines at the tasting room were a complete 180. The selection that afternoon--particularly the Bordeaux-style blends and Cabernet Franc--were rich, balanced, and fun to explore. It just goes to show how a proper tasting setting can transform your perception. Vibe: Art, Music & Community The property buzzed with a low-key, laid-back energy: Art show on the lawn: local artists displaying their work, adding a cultural flair. Live music on the grass: the perfect soundtrack to sip and savor. Chill, communal atmosphere: picnic tables scattered about, friends mingling, people lingering-- All combining to create a relaxed, memorable scene. Vineyards, Sustainability & Wine Legacy Origins & Land Established in 1981, the winery initially focused on sparkling wine and champagne. In the mid-1990s, the current owners took over, replanted the vineyards with Bordeaux varietals--Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec--and later added Syrah, Grenache, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sangiovese Microclimate & Terroir Situated at the northern 33rd parallel, the estate benefits from Pacific breezes, granite-loam soils, and cool nights--ideal for producing balanced sugar and acid levels Sustainable practices They're 100% Roundup‑free, use nutrient recycling with vineyard mash, cover crops, and seed banks, and employ water-conserving methods--efforts that support long‑term soil health and ecosystem balance Recognition & Quality Multiple accolades at competitions like the International Wine Challenge and San Francisco Chronicle attest to their winemaking prowess Why It Was the Perfect Finale Setting the tone Arriving later in the day, the vibrant yet relaxed ambiance wrapped up the tour beautifully--live tunes, sunlight fading over the vineyard, art dotting the grounds. Atmosphere The on‑the‑grass tasting felt natural and friendly, free of rigid structure. Just excellent wines, scenery, and good conversation. Connecting to place and people Learning about their history and hands-on approach brought depth--vine to glass, with heart. Final Word Fallbrook Winery felt like discovering a hidden gem: well-crafted wines, a soulful environment, and a strong sense of place. For anyone touring the region, especially with Fallbrook Wine Tours in tow, this is the kind of experience that stays with you long after the last sip. Let me know if you want tasting notes on specific wines or tips for visiting!

I absolutely love coming to this winery. It's so quaint and lovely and set up and just the right way where it's not too much, but still has plenty of open seating and beautiful views. Their bubbly rosé is my absolute favorite wine of any I've ever had. They have a great selection, so it makes winetasting very fun, they have indoor seating, which feels cozy and intimate or outdoor seating on the patio, which has really nice views. Some people might prefer a larger or more busy in Winery but for people like me, who just want a relaxing, quiet place to hang out with friends, this is one of my favorite. Husband and I recently spent Valentine's Day here doing a wine tasting, and it was a great memory. I cannot wait for the next time I can come back and buy more rosé.

    Welcome to Fallbrook Winery

Fun place. Bring your own chairs on nights with music. Good wines. Fun servers. Tastings are affordable. Not much food available. I think you can bring your own snacks.

Loved our visit to Fallbrook winery! Wine is delicious! Cooper is the sweetest pup who greets you at the door. Michelle was absolutely amazing, so knowledgeable about each wine and just made our first visit very memorable. 5/5 stars would recommend, will be back very soon!

The Fallbrook Winery was simply amazing! I made reservations about a year ago as an activity during a 4 day bachelorette and bridal shower retreat I hosted for my daughter and her bridal party. There were 12 of us. PROS: - We had the private room. It was perfect! - The Winemaker himself, lead the wine tasting and gave us the tour! This was such a treat. Eaun was so generous with his time. He understood I didn't want the girls to 'just drink', but rather understand the art of wine making and the passion that flies into it. Eaun hit a home run! - The wines were incredible! Who knew that Fallbrook has a winery with SUPERB wines! Needless to say I became a member! - The grounds are beautiful, in the hills of Fallbrook. I felt like I was in the mountains of Italy. - All grapes are sourced on site. If you haven't been, go! It's a small winery/ vineyard. So quaint. I can't wait to come back.

From the first time we tasted wines at Fallbrook Winery, we fell in love with not only the wines but the area, reminiscent of what Sonoma and Temecula used to be. Located in the winding hills in Fallbrook, you end up at a super nice and charming tasting room with a great selection of wines. Autumn, the sweet server at the winery is always so nice to talk to and Pepper, the owner came out to talk to us and made us feel like family. As far as wines go, great selection- to suit everyone's taste.

A cute winery tucked into fallbrook! We really Liked the girl Pouring our tastings she was so sweet- the flavors were delicious- the one reason I'm eating this a 4 star not a 5 is because there was extremely limited seating even though we made a reservation- Not until the last 15 min of our tasting did we get an open table in the shade- they are building a beautiful deck with a great view- wish it was Completed! But otherwise I would recommend here if you are staying in the area :)

This gorgeous spot is not very easy to find (we got lost twice) but absolutely worth the drive. First off, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have a very simple set up in which you come up to the bar and either ask for a glass, a bottle, or a whole tasting with any wine of your choice (they have flawless recommendations as well), and then you take it to wherever you'd like to sit. The patio is great, with views of vineyards and rolling hills, and lots of space to accommodate big groups. The best part is that you can bring your own food (I don't think they serve any), so we gladly laid out a hefty spread to go with our wine flight. The place was so nice that we didn't realize we had been there all afternoon. We would definitely return when we come to town again.

    These are the sample pours.

Place is beautiful. Inside seating feels like ur in a cool underground wine cellar. Outside seating is nice with a welcoming dog. They don't sell food, but you can bring in ur own. You can't really walk through the vineyard as it's in a steep slope. Server was really nice and selected pours she thought we would like according to our past experiences with wine. Overall cool experience.

Owners, Kim & George, are very friendly and offer up a huge selection of white and red wines. Parking can be a challenge. If there are no spaces open at the top of the hill, you'll have to park along the side of a steep driveway. The one plus is that they do have a golf cart that will run people up and down the hill, but I don't know if that's always available. The tasting room is average size, but there is a spiral staircase that leads to a large upstairs patio (uncovered) with incredible views. You can certainly enjoy a glass or bottle up there and take in the amazing views...all the way to the ocean! WINES: The Beach House property is 4 acres total, with 2 acres planted with grapes. On our last visit, the tasting menu listed 14 wines (whites, rosé, and reds), and we even tried a couple that weren't on the menu. The wines are well made, and some that we've purchased in the past have laid down well in our cellar. I always state, individuals' palates can be very different than mine, but I'm pretty sure there will be a wine you'll enjoy. I recommend you visit and check them out for yourselves. I think you'll enjoy it. NOTE: They're only open on Saturdays/Sundays.

The winery is also the owners' residence, which adds a charming, personal feel to the experience. Don't worry about limited parking at the top, one of the owners (the very kind husband!) will happily and safely drive you up and down the hill in a golf cart. Such a thoughtful touch and much appreciated! I'm looking forward to coming back to try more wines, and to check out the pizza vendor they had on-site. It looked and smelt amazing! They waived the tasting fee due to our purchase of four bottles (very generous). It's an adventure to drive to this out-of-the-way property, but the views of the surrounding hills and wines are well worth it. Only slightly negative comment I have is that parking is very limited and it's a steep climb from the parking area to the tasting room. We'll definitely be adding Roadrunner Ridge to our list of regular winery stops.

There is ample room for the children to run around. There was also face painting for them as well. They also had a few local vendors selling treats. I also learned that this winery turns their pumpkin patch into a tree farm for the winter season, so I'm hoping when that happens, they'll have their hard cider available for purchase!

Upon entering, we were greeted by the owner and staff with friendly smiles. After a brief explanation from the owner, we selected two tasting flights and took a seat outside to enjoy the view. Flight 1: 2024 Pinot Grigio, 2023 Rose, 2021 Red Blend, 2023 Muscat. Flight 2: 2023 Teroldego (Distant cousin of Syrah), 2022 Merlot, 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2021 Red Blend. The property was rustic yet modern, resembling a family room, living room, bar, and dining room, with a spacious outdoor entertainment area for all to enjoy, featuring sofas, coffee tables with fire pits, and end tables.
