As I waited in their lobby, the oil and the belt were replaced in just over two hours. The money I paid was well worth it, as I felt satisfied and secure in my vehicle after it left the shop. While waiting in the reception area, I overheard the owners speaking with another customer. They offered to assist the other customer when they didn't have to. They were willing to go above and beyond on their own time to help the community. When you come here, you're not just a customer or a number; you become Family, and I like to see that.

I take her car in for her because a) she's busy and b) mechanic shops try to take advantage of her because she doesn't know anything about cars. I have found their prices are VERY competitive (I am a shopper and I found they were consistently the lowest so I'll save you time). There were also different things I took my car in for that they could have up-charged me on, like fixing the metal plate on the bottom of my car falling off and they only charged me $20. They have a small, modest shop but I would rather go here 10/10 times then any squeaky clean corporate mechanic shop. Most importantly, they are honest, good people who actually have ethics. If you have a bigger issue with your car, they'll tell you and explain to you what's causing it (or what the possible problems could be if they're not sure) and then let you make the decision based on what the options are. They don't oversell and they don't lie. Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere that has integrity, where you'll get charged fair prices, and you know you're supporting a local family business.

I am not satisfied with the service I received. When I initially took my vehicle to you on December 4th, my check engine light was on and my radiator fluid was leaking. I advised I only wanted the issue that led to my check engine light and leak to be fixed because that's all I could afford at the time. I was told it was the cause was the Intake Manifold Gasket. The total came to $5005.22 I got a call saying my vehicle was ready and I picked it up on December 17th (8 days after drop-off). I was told to check engine light was still on and they're not sure why, but they drove the car and everything is fine. I drove my car to enterprise to drop my rental back off and then to the grocery store. While on the freeway, to the grocery store, the car shut off. The coolant and engine overheating warming lights came on. (The issue I just paid $5005.02). I called your shop twice and no answer and then I sent an email. December 18th I received a call back and was advised they will come to my house and pick my truck back up. Two men came and picked my truck up. I got a call December 19th. Stating it was now the heat module management/unit that needed to be replaced which came out to another $1078.54. My car was picked up December 18. I did not receive my car back until January 7th. I was told twice before this date that I was going to get my car back. I ended up having to spend $726 for a rental car. My issue is I had to pay $2000 just to get my car taken apart and I wanted whatever the major issue was to be fixed. According to you, it was the intake manifold gasket, nothing else. The fact that I paid $2000 and the heat module management/unit was not identified as needing to be fixed/replaced, I feel like I got extorted. My car was not a priority even after I said I had a rental car, my car was at your shop for 23 days in total. January 7th, 2026 I picked my car up and I have been doing minimal driving. January 10th the check engine light is back on again. (The issue I just paid a total of $6083.56). Not including rental cars charges of $726. At this point I do not want to take my truck back because it is apparent and I mean no disrespect that your shop does not know how to fix my vehicle. I would like some of my money back.

My dealer told me I needed brakes on two separate occasions. My experience with Avondale Toyota and sales manager Ali Altaee was unacceptable. Ali led me to…read morebelieve I was going to be approved, repeatedly saying he would work with me and that everything looked like it would go through. Based on his assurances, I allowed my credit to be run. Ali then ran my credit through multiple banks, damaging my credit score in the process. Once it became clear that the deal wasn't happening, he completely disappeared. No follow-up. No explanation. No accountability. I was flat-out ghosted. Running someone's credit after giving them false confidence and then cutting off communication is irresponsible and unprofessional. If approval was unlikely, that should have been stated upfront instead of wasting my time and hurting my credit. Ali Altaee should be reprimanded for this behavior. This is not how a sales manager should treat customers, and it reflects poorly on Avondale Toyota as a whole. I strongly warn others to be extremely cautious before allowing their credit to be run here--especially if you're dealing with Ali
