They should rename this place Lying RipOff Tires. This place needs to be investigated for fraud. If you pay for a tire warranty they never honor it. Whenever I ever got a nail in my tire I always received the same lies. "Unfortunately where the nail is, the warranty doesn't cover it." They never ever patch up tires either. They always lie & say it's not patchable. Indirectly forcing you to spend over $400 on one tire. Refused to return faulty set of cupping tires!!!!! Claimed that they did not see it! If you have a serious problem with all 4 tires, expect a runaround for the warranty. I have been going to Discount tire for several decades and have never had an issue with them until now. I had a new struts installed. The mechanic suggested I go to Discount Tire for an alignment. I did (at a different location) and they also replaced all 4 tires. About 6 months later, I am feeling a wobble. My mechanic worked on the front end for a week trying to figure it out, replaced parts that didn't even need replacing. Finally went to the dealer. They said the front end was good. It was my tires. They were cupping. When I called this location, the person on the phone immediately started trying to shift blame, and of course when I showed up, they claimed they could not see the cupping. I went back to the dealer, who double checked on the cupping and showed me how to determine the tires were cupped. I was told they should have seen it. I chose to go to another Discount Tire location since this one was so quick to dismiss my issue. This other location could see the cupping immediately. I have an appointment with them to process the return today, and hope they will honor the warranty. I am a little worried because they were planning on rotating the tires to deal with the cupping. From what I understand, it is dangerous to drive on cuppled tires. Avoid this place. They are happy to fix one tire, but if you truly have an issue with the manufacture of your tires, they will try to weasle out of the warranty. Discount Tire does not honor my warranty I will be pursuing it legally, but who wants to do that? I will come back to update this review with what happens. Wish me luck! read more

I have tires with this company and one of my tires is showing low air pressure and these guys have been having a sign put up for the last month or longer saying the air pressure check line is closed due to excessive heat, they said once it hits 108 IN ARIZONA they close it, mind you it's summer time? It's always gonna be 108 if not hotter and they also have it set up in the shade area, this place is lazy and will do a lazy job on your tires as well. This store has elite level reps! Their product knowledge and customer service make buying tires or servicing them very tolerable! My family and I always go to Discount Tires if it's either buying new tires, buying certificates for a new vehicle or having them rotated/fixed. The great thing about DT is they pretty much have nationwide coverage with their sister companies across the country which will honor the certificates. My only gripe would be the parking lot at this location. Maneuvering the side lot to get in the check air line will disqualify rookie level drivers. Keep your head on a swivel, be decisive and make your way into that line! They honor competitor's pricing! read more

My bf and I brought in his 2010 challenger rt to get new tires. Eli from the start was amazing! From greeting us, helping us test fit different tire sizes and helping us find the best tire for our budget. He explained to us how same size tires can look different because of the lip. Which later we changed the tire brand and size for a better look. He was super patient with by showing us different tires and size options! He got the new tires on quickly also and even put on some new lug nuts I had brought. Definitely super satisfied with my purchase and Eli's help throughout the entire process!! I'm fuming right now, so disappointed in "Christian" at discount tires. Writing this review as I'm in the parking lot. On a road trip with multiple campers and we went to this location because I called him and he said he could get us in right away if we came to this store so we drove to this location (we were next to another one). We get there and he says 2.5 hours, when I told him he said he understood our situation, he said no, I told you we would take care of you. Blatant lie to try to get service, guess what... I'll NEVER go to a discount again and that's the only company I have used ever on tires. From here on out, it will be Costco. Christian, you've ruined multiple customers for life. Don't be deceitful to try and earn business, you explicitly lied and that's an integrity issue. Thanks for the terrible service discount! My tire was having an issue with needing to have air put it in every few days. Initially I took my car across the street to have it inspected at a different place. They found a nail in my tire and said the tire wasn't fixable and were charging me for a new tire. I brought my car here and they found 3 nails in the tire and were able to repair it for me for free. I also needed the front 2 tires replaced and it was cheaper than the other place I took my car. I am so happy I decided to come here for a second opinion! My car was ready before the time quoted and it is very convenient to receive text messages and be able to track the process of when your car will be ready. Loyal discount tire customer for 25 years. Traveling on interstate and stopped to get air checked for a low pressure warning that came up. Air check is closed because its 113 outside. I go inside to ask and they tell me it's 2 1/2 hours just to have someone check air?!? This is customer care? I don't think so. I get keeping the guys safe in the heat and they don't need to stand out in the sun. But to shut down customers on a simple service that's also a safety concern isn't ok either. read more

My husband and I went to this location at 3:45 pm on a Saturday to get 2 tires checked becausewe thought we had seen a nail or something metallic and tire pressure was low. After making us wait over an hour they called us out to the car and said they checked everything and couldn't find anything wring with either tire. By this time it s was 5 pm and they were getting ready to close. They said the metal we saw would fall out as we drove. This made my husband feel like an idiot for wasting 2 hours of our time for something they said wasn't an issue. We then reminded them about the windshield wipes that we paid for and went about our day after they were installed. 3 stops later, I get out of the car and air is hissing out of one of the tires they supposedly "checked". There was an Allen key stuck in the tire, and yes it was about to come out as we we drove but it also took some of the air from the tire with it. There was also a screw stuck in another tire that they also missed. Since discount was now closed when this leak got worse, we had to call AAA to come out and put on the spare, and the next day we took the car to Costco to get a second opinion. I would not recommend going to this location within 2 hours of their close time if you really want to make sure that your tires are really looked at. read more

We ordered tires online and made an appointment to have them installed. The earliest appointment was the next week. When we arrived, the tires we ordered were not available, and the closest match they had were $80 more. If they're not available, why are you allowed to order them online from that store? Typical bait and switch. We get home and my husband comes out to see and noticed that the valve covers on all four tires are missing. So, we have to drive back and have them replaced. Very inept service, and purchasing online is a joke. I plan to write a complaint to the BBB to see if we can recover the $80 difference in price over what we were promised. Ridiculous. I went to Discount Tire to purchase a set of tires for my 1958 Corvette but sense I was there anyway I figured I would buy a tire for my 2011 Dodge Ram and get three Tire Pressure Sensors (TPI's) replaced. One TPI worked perfect, one TPI did not work at all and the other two TPI's only worked for about 15 minutes after starting the truck. I talked to a salesman by the name of Gregg who told me he had a set of General Grabber Tires that only had 3K miles and that he would sell them to me for less than half of what they would run brand new, and he would replace all four TPI's at $240.00. I specifically asked Gregg if the tires had any plugs in them and he replied, "they are just like brand new with no plugs with less than 3K miles on them". When driving to work the next day, two of the brand new TPI's that were working stopped working after 15 minutes just like they did before they were replaced. Of course, the TPI that was working still was and the TPI that was not working at all, was working. When I got to work, I looked at one of the tires and noticed a plug in one of the tires. (I only looked at one tire.) I don't see how two brand new TPI's would failed after 15 minutes just like the old ones did unless they did not replace them and only replaced the one bad TPI. As far as the plug, Gregg either lied to me, is incompetent or both. read more

Free air check? This location will purposely make you wait 10-15 minutes. Even when they're not busy. Unfortunately had to stop here 4x in the last 2 months, and you will be the only car, and no one will acknowledge you for 10-15 minutes. Took my car for tire repair a nail in my tire. I did saw my car go in the bay then it came out about 20mins later. Then check out my car. The whole process took about an hour an half. Got into my car and i noticed the hand brake was pull to the max. Thanks to the D head whoever did that. As i drive home i noticed the tire check light was still on. I immediately check my tire when i got home and to my surprised the nail is still in the tire! Never buying tire on this shiitty place again. To the D head who pull my hand brake to the max..! I came in today-a busy Saturday morning - my husband had a blowout and he's sitting on the side of I-10. Chad assisted me and after explaining my situation, he gets the tech to change the tire ASAP so I can get it to my husband. I bought 2 tires 1 to be mounted now and the other later today,and Chad was gracious to warranty my Michelin tire. So I received awesome customer service and a discount. Dropped my car off this morning at 8, told them the driver's side rear tire had a screw in it. I left and received the automated text that my car was complete and I could pick it up. I showed up a few hours later they alerted me that they found no issues with the driver's side front tire and performed no work. never called to clarify if maybe they had the wrong tire or maybe they were all messed up. Obviously never thought to check the other tires. Unbelievably bad service. Maybe next time I will just bring them the tire with a screw in it so they have no opportunity to fumble it.
