They will not talk to you or let you search their web site for prices without getting an exact address first. And even if their prices have dropped, if you use your real address, you will see nothing but the prices that you are presently paying. If you lie to them about the address you are calling about and then find out that you are being over-charged, they will reduce your bill. While they have almost no competition in Amarillo, at present, I hope that changes because I will be one of the first to bail. I previously had Dish and we LOVED the music stations and selections. There were a dozen channels for everyone in the house. We got to missing it so much that we upgraded our Suddenlink so that we could get their music channels,..... and they are AWFUL. Pitiful selection of stations, genres and the skimpiest playlists imaginable. We never listen to music on Suddenlink. And, if indeed you find yourself stuck with Suddenlink, know that you are going to experience multiple "mini-outages" virtually EVERYDAY. They are only five to 15 seconds at a time but they are very annoying. Suddenlink runs tons of commercials trying to convince folks that their employees are good citizens, and they may well be, but in my opinion their employer is a corporate bully and shady service provider.

In all of the years that I had Suddenlink/Tivo, I cannot remember it being out at all. The Suddenlink/Tivo DVR service is far superior, faster, more user friendly, etc, etc, etc. . . If you still have traditional TV, do not even consider dumping Suddenlink for DIRECTV. It is horrible! If you live in a market outside of the Suddenlink area, stick with whomever is offering Tivo. My experience with the two things is like night and day with DIRECTV being overwhelmingly negative and Suddenlink/Tivo being overwhelmingly positive! First of all, when you call for service you have to go through a recording that asks all about your account, but as soon as you are finally connected they don't even have any information and you have to start all over. So when I finally got to talk to a person, they claimed to be looking at my account, but kept having to ask me what I had, they did not even know. Then after I was put on hold three times for a total of 25 minutes, because they said it takes a very long time to create an email that would allow me to return my equipment he came on and said never mind it couldn't be done so just take it to a UPS store and give it to them. I asked how I was supposed to prove that they knew I had returned all of the right equipment and he couldn't tell me. I am shocked at the lack of organization in this company. Also, the customer service is the worst. 2 years ago this was not the case, but now all I hear are complaints and there is no place within the company to lodge a complaint. It is clear that no one within the company cares at all about the customers. This is the only place you can even let any body know how bad it is.

I've been in contact with them (salesman named Philip) multiple times. My landline service from my recent provider ended August 9th. For four weeks my business has been without working phone lines! I missed 188 phone calls on Saturday alone. This promise to perform fiber optic internet and phone lines was poorly given and completely affected our business performance for multiple days! We've been patient but this has been absurd. We are transferring back to our recent provider because what they promise they deliver!

I receive the same bill every month - no surprise charges. About once a year, I call the. Customer Retention Department and see if they have a current promotion for better pricing.
