The plan to move to AT&T Fiber Optics and Phone landlines from my current provider to AT&T was established in May. It is now Sept. 2nd and AT&T never delivered on their promise. I've been in contact with them (salesman named Philip) multiple times. My landline service from my recent provider ended August 9th. For four weeks my business has been without working phone lines! I missed 188 phone calls on Saturday alone. This promise to perform fiber optic internet and phone lines was poorly given and completely affected our business performance for multiple days! We've been patient but this has been absurd. We are transferring back to our recent provider because what they promise they deliver!

I have had AT&T since it was Southwestern Bell. They have DEFINITELY improved their customer…read moreservice over the past few years. Before that, it was hideous (outsourced to who knows where. Couldn't get anyone I could understand). Once they improved their customer service, it has been great. The technicians have always been wonderful. They provide a direct number to them after installation to immediately rectify any problems. Unlike rip offs such as Suddenlink, there isn't a cap on the internet. I receive the same bill every month - no surprise charges. About once a year, I call the. Customer Retention Department and see if they have a current promotion for better pricing. The representatives in that department and very kind and helpful.

Nothing additionally needs done. Then get a random phone call a week after that indicating they need to come get their dish or we will be charged $300. We are no longer at residence, agree to meet with them and they cancel the appointment due to technician running behind. Give them the 2 remaining days we will be in town & they state they are not available. They try to schedule an appointment for after we are gone and we indicate we will no longer be in the area so they tell us they will be charging us $300.
