Also you should probably be prepared to hear a tad bit of Chinese music (this makes me giggle on the inside when I'm there.) The different masseuses have their own style but they adjust to whatever your preferences are. I've found that Swedish massages are a bit too light handed but the Asian style or deep tissue massages are too rough so I opt for something in between, and they are awesome at it! They know where my knottiest spots are and always work those areas more. The rooms and chairs are always clean and towels are fresh. Prices are fair and they offer 60 or 90 min sessions. There is a price difference between the Swedish and Deep Tissue but I don't remember off the top of my head. Pros: Awesome massages, great price, simplicity, cleanliness Cons: No website! Yargh!

I was in the area so I decided to make an appointment at this salon since I was in the area. Unfortunately, I noticed there was a very busy Hispanic bakery next door playing Loud music that you can hear through the walls at this massage salon. Tolerable, but, that it is not their fault. I don't blame them, they turned up their relaxing music louder during the massage. I never complained. A very sweet warm-friendly massage therapist, name Lian performed my massage. The massage techniques was just basic, no extra frills or special techniques. Strangely, she barely touched my feet nor was there any stretching of the other areas of my body. I don't think she like touching or massaging the feet . I can say that she tried really hard to please me. I will give her that. Sadly, she lacked the type of massage therapist experience that I was used to receiving in the past. Each client has their own expectations and I feel mine were not met. Dear Lianna's Massage: Stop asking the client repeatedly, over and over during the 1.5 hour massage while the client is trying to relax and enjoy their massage, "Does this feel good, are you okay"? I just couldn't relax bc of the interrupted same question. I have no plans of returning. I have massages performed regularly. It's possible - I am just too picky. I rated 3 stars for their friendliness and the cleanliness of the salon. However, for me - I prefer a more 'experienced' detailed reflexology type massage of my entire body than a basic beginner massage therapist. No knots were removed and no real true massage techniques were utilized. Unsure about the technique of the other massage therapists. Second, that's how I knew it was going to be a good massage! Good Asian food & massages are better when they barely speak English & have bad customer service lol I had to call a few times to get an appointment. I noticed she doesn't like to make appointments in advance, I got an appointment the day of. I go to the chiropractor every month, but my back still aches, so my chiropractor actually recommended getting massages. I had the combo massage for an hour at $80 & it felt way longer than an hour! Assumed this was half Thai & regular massage, which was great because last Thai massage I had elsewhere was SO PAINFUL. She started by standing on my back and dug her toes in & cracked my back in 4 different places! That's when I knew it was gonna be good! She cracked me in places I didn't even know could be cracked! She asked if I liked it hard in the beginning, so if you don't like it hard just let her know. I like it hard and this was almost perfect.. Thai massages I just assume are slightly more "hard" so I expected it to be, but wasn't overbearing. I must've had a tight right shoulder because she was massaging that area a lot & was relentless until it loosened up. She does full body front & back. She even cracked my neck & sides like my chiropractor does. It was an overall great massage. I actually plan on making this my massage place now. Will be coming back every other month for this massage! Heads up, she does answer the phone during massages which ruined the "zen" but didn't bother me as much. Also felt bad because the person on the phone couldn't understand her thick accent. She was like yelling "see you at 6 pm!" I assume she looses some clients over this.. If you have a bad back, I think Thai massages is the only thing that works. I spent around $130 for a Himalayan rock massage at another place & it was terrible. They just rubbed the rock on my body for an hour & did not touch me once! So hole in the wall Asian places is much better than the boujee massage parlors I been to.
