Dr. Allie and his staff are wonderful. They take their time and listen to your concerns and really truly care about your child. That was my favorite thing. I love Dr Awadas office been coming here since my first born he's turning 7. Every time I come I have no issue, the wait is a little not too long. They call to remind you of your appointments. Another great visit with Dr. Awada! My son is 21 months old and has seen Dr. Awada since his first check up. I have nothing but gratitude and admiration for the way this doctor cares for his patients. I have not till this day encountered any negativity from this office. My son rarely gets sick but whenever he does I always call first thing in the morning. The staff here is always happy to accommodate me. They are honest and reliable. Whenever there is no walk in appointments, they accommodate me for their nearest open date. NO GIMMICKS! I am uninsured but they have affordable rates and paying 40$ for an office visit is quite nothing compared to the time and dedication that Dr. Awada genuinely offers. The office can get busy. Being in the medical field myself,I know every step of the process for patient care. I can truly say that this office goes above and beyond for their patients. I would not choose any other doctor for my sons healthcare. I truly and deeply recommend trusting this office with your health! read more

His staff is rude and they dont know the California vaccine LAWS and that the laws apply to students who need to catch up with CA requirements from another country. A simple Google search would help them...its not that hard but they'd rather argue and refuse, causing patients to have to get their missing shots at Curtis Tucker or elsewhere. read more

If i could leave a zero star Inwould. I called a few days ago, and the person on the other end said they were closed and hung up on us. Then I called back asking if it was an answering service. They said yes, there were loud noises, then the person (male) said he was busy with patients, then said he was closed. Horrible way to treat clients. Today, we drove a long distance (as I had moved but was in the area) to pick up a copy of my child's physical. The gal at the front desk barely looked up from her cell phone and said she was at "lunch" and to come back in an hour, even though their office was open. Then she said, "Come back," in 15 minutes, then said, "30 min." We came back in an hour, only to be told we had to pay $35 for a copy of the physical, then it was $15 for it, or the daycare can ask for it for free. The daycare can get it for free, but the mother can not? I asked the first woman why she didn't say that when we asked the first time we were there. She was extremely rude and again barely lifted her face to acknowledge us and said, "I was at lunch." If she was at lunch, then why was she the only one there tending to the office office and her only answer to anyone walking in is 'I'm at lunch'? Locking the doors and a sign does the same without the rude and dismissive demeanor. This is the worst experience ever and will be changing doctors. And if able, I'll be complaining to Medi-cal as well. To be fair, the other two young ladies were not at fault, but they didn't know how much the fees are and they should, but they were not rude like the other older woman. As I leave this review, I also see there is a 2.5 star rating. I see now why that is. Do better people, you all service a low income community, and this very much feels like you can treat us as you wish because of it. read more

Worst pediatric office visit ever. I brought my daughter in with fever and with valid insurance. Over and over, the rude front desk (Tiffany) receptionist made the visit horrifying with delays and confusing messaging about when the doctor is available. If you don't mind tolerating the abuse and get pass the front desk gauntlet, this is the place for you. read more

My daughter was tested twice for TB because the medical assistant, Dina, did not log it into the system the first time. I had paid for the first TB test even though my daughter had medi-cal and from my understanding they did not log it in because I paid for it. That is what I understood according to what the receptionist told me. I'm still confused since I got 2 different explanations as to why they had to poke and make my daughter cry twice. Also she was missing one of her vaccines even though 6 months ago I was told she was up to date with everything. My experience with them was just overall sketchy and I feel that they legit thought I was an idiot to believe everything they told me. Bathroom is also disgusting. Graffiti all over the walls and mirror. Reina was awesome though. She was helpful and patient with my daughter. You can really tell she enjoys her job. The whole staff, including the doctors, should follow her example. REINA you're the best and hope you find a better job in a less sh***y office! read more

It happened that AWADA been my kids PCP and I regret it bigtime since yesterday they are "ONLY" pleasant with you if you do have appts and my 11 month baby boy been running fever since fri night till currently monday morning I am aware he is teething fever is expected but on and off I knew for a fact he does have infection all I need was just a prescription pretty much. To make the story short I came in literally at 830 and seeking for a spot to be seen but "DINA" started to give me this rudeness and boldness of her attitude "because they let her I supposed" she was saying that only this time will take you and next time no if its emergency go to urgent care and had the guts to asked me what's the temp for the fever for my son anyways what I exploded about when she "walked away and gave me her back continously stated that I DO NOT MAKE RULES here"who the hell are you?right on my mind!RECEPTIONIST should have a pleasant personality and be compassionate not showing on ur attitude that YOU are just there to get pay" anyway since I felt very discriminated in a way cause am "seeking medical attention for my baby after all" so waiting WAS ok then I was looking for a supervisor at least just have to talk that was the time 845 AWADA yes that is right ASSHOLE AWADA came in and DINA was telling him that person at the window is looking for a supervisor guess what that ASSHOLE yold me exact same thing go to urgent care and "MAMA" Youv'e been coming here since then YOU should know the rules already" I felt really down and disappointed cause all these years been coming back at this place again " AM seeking for medical attention" not telling me what the rules are I am very aware from the start I am walking in at 830 with my baby plus active fever and ASSHOLE AWADA stated if I have a problem I would talk to him and my insurance guess what?how that is justify YOU being a physician if YOU do not care about people on top of it "11 months baby" where is the concern???afterwards he even told me that "YOUR'E baby is ok they get sick all the time" I walked out with teary eyed and decided not to be receiving any MEDICAL TX at this clinic. TILL NOW I FEEL THAT I Should do something more since parents out there should not be experiencing this type of service. Dr. Awada is great doctor! He is friendly, prompt and gentle. Even the other doctors that help fill in are very friendly. Unfortunately, you have to get pass the incompetent nurses at the front desk. Their lack of reception skills can overpower Dr. Awada's skills. read more

While your there staff greet you with smiles and guide you and the child through the clinical process. Oh my god...where do i start?! HORRIBLE! He is more concerned with trying to charge the insurances with vaccines than actually resolving the patient's actual problem . He has been my childs pediatrician for about 3 years and ive only stuck with him because my child is healthy and only really need routine appointments but enough is enough. Little one got sick from a probably stomach infection and ALL HE SAID AFTER A 4 HOUR WAIT " Drink water". No sh*t Sherlock , who doesnt know that. He tried to coax in some vaccines that were not necessary at the moment. A sick child and you still want to stick them ?! Where tf is his head . No medication or remedies were prescribed. He also had the audacity to say why didnt i just go to the ER instead of him. Well its not a life or death situation....why tf do I have you for ?! USELESS !!!!! And the cherry on top is that he has a MASS amount of University of Phoenix student's (i have nothing against students doing their hours , we all have to learn from somewhere) that he is training however it is so many people that it delays the efficiency of your visit (longer wait bc he has to show them routine steps , sometimes they are lost , some dont know how to be quick with children since they are novices) . The MOST HORRIBLE STAFF EVER KNOWN TO MAN. These women are LAZY!!!! LAZY!!! Especially the woman that is there most of the time, everyday. I do not know her name. She is light skinned, colored eyes, light brown long hair, heavy set. ANYWAY, where do I start? I've had several issues at this office with administration. They never update the child's visits, my son has been there a few times and they only had on their file a visit from perhaps a year ago. He's been there a few times since then. He's had vaccinations which they did not update and they were trying to give him the same shot he had already had. Every visit I've had with them they don't have an updated file for my son. I literally have to tell them what their last visit was about. Now my other most recent issue was I went in to get a referral for my son to see an orthopedic. I waited over 3 weeks almost going on to a month. I call to make sure they sent out the referral in the first place (knowing how the staff here is figured there was going to be something that went wrong) sure enough the SAME lady I mentioned at the beginning didn't have an idea what I was talking about. Should have called sooner but my good faith in people that perhaps they'd do this right this time kept me from checking up on them. Long story short she tried to make it seem like she was going to do everything in her power to "push the referral" trying to cover up for probably not sending it since she didn't have an idea at first. So now I wait another 3 weeks and it got approved. I call the other place I was referred to and they tell me the office (Ali Awada's office) didn't send enough and complete information. WHY?! Again... LAZY. LAZY to do their job and do it RIGHT. I'm going back and forth calling both offices. Again, Why do I need to do this? Because their LAZY. Furthermore they finally send the information that is required. I call to schedule my appointment and they tell me that my child can't be seen there. That there is no dr there to treat my son? This place is for what he needs to be seen for. This place Dr Ali Awada's staff has failed to get the proper information to the referred place. So I already have wasted 2 months trying to see this specialist for my son. Another long story short to this.. I pay a visit to Dr. Awada's office pertaining to this issue and I speak to the same LAZY lady I've been dealing with and I express to her my frustration with this staff. I've asked her to call the place they referred me to so they can explain to each other what's going on. She refuses to. She gave me all the excuses she could give me to not call. WHY?! Is it that hard for her to call and figure out what is going on? There is a present issue going on and needs a resolution now. Reason for not wanting to call? LAZY. Her only solution was that to speak to the employee that was in charge of the referrals. She told me that person was going to be there at 2 pm. So I call at 2 pm same woman told me to call at 4, I call at 4 the same woman tells me "oh she called out she's not coming in" so you're really going to give me two different times that this person was supposedly going to be there to end up calling out? These are all lies, and poor diligence of this person. I feel terrible for Dr. Awada. He is a good dr with HORRIBLE STAFF. He needs to really reconsider getting a whole new staff. Or replace this woman in particular. I will update her name once I call again and get this issue figured out. Don't count of this staff for anything! God forbid something is really wrong with your child don't count on this lady to get the job done. She'll let you die because of her laziness. And for the record I would put ZERO stars but it won't let me post if I don't rate this. read more
