The quality and service by Awards Plus is incomparable! Special shout out for the creativity and excellent service by Jazmin. I needed a last minute unique and special birthday award and I had no idea where to even begin. Jazmin showed me what was available at the store and, unfortunately ~ given the uniqueness of what I needed ~ they didn't have anything I could use for my special occasion. I left and was now stuck without any trophy and my clock was ticking!! I got home and back onto my computer. I found it, but it was incredibly expensive and the company was in New York which meant even if I paid the outrageous amount for the small trophy, - it still not have arrived in time. This solution required lots of creativity and some DIY handiwork and all to be completed on deadline ~ all of which Jazmin offered to handle. Manfred Jossel was so helpful to me! I came in hoping to find a sculpture base for a small figurine. It turned out to be a rather costly proposition to have one custom-made -- for what is an inexpensive reproduction. Instead, Manfred gave me several, less expensive options. I found a marble base, already cut to almost-perfect specifications, and for much less expense than a custom-made one. He was wonderful and so cooperative. read more

The owner of this shop rips people off. He knowingly took a commission that he knew he couldn't complete and that ultimately did not work and had to be scraped. He made us pay several thousand dollars, in full, prior to delivery and then said the problems were our fault, not his. Oh yeah, and we are a charity. Who rips off a charity? STAY AWAY from this place. HORRIBLE. THE VERY WORST. I wish I had read yelp. MANFRED did the worst job ever on awards that I needed. I sent them the photos of exactly what we needed three times. Manfred told me that he could make it look exactly like the photos. He must have NEVER looked at the photos. It was supposed to be etched from the back of the crystal and he etched it on the front and it looks like garbage. I asked him to fix it and he never even responded to me. Find another place. This is the WORST place to work with for any awards or print jobs. Manfred the owner is rude and lacks any customer service They double charge and charge for things they dont even do. They dont read emails or follow directions and make you resend the same things at least 10 times then charge YOU for their time! They lie and say they can print step and repeats and signs and have printed things that we never approved and was wrong and continued to charge us. There are much better companies out there to deal with . If you want extremely rude and poor customer service, to be over charged and threatened go with them, other-swise, buyer beware.. I was extremely pleased after receiving my custom order from them. They had it done even sooner than what was quoted and the pricing was very fair. Their graphic artist was able to perfectly recreate a logo I had brought in to add to my design. The owner and salesperson were very knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions. They were extremely helpful and flexible regarding the changes that I wanted done as well. I am currently a coach at a local Los Angeles High School. I used Awards-Plus because they offered us the most competitive prices. Furthermore, we used a complicated logo, with multiple color screens, and difficult "weathered" effect to make the logo appear "aged", i.e. like it was from the 1960's. Together, Awards-Plus and Manfred meticulously helped me select a unique shirt color (that corresponded with our faded concept) Furthermore, he helped select a specific material that was lighter (in weight). He had specific examples of shirts brought in on a daily basis, until I found EXACTLY what I was looking for. From that point, his artists and production team delivered our large order within one week, EVEN THOUGH we were up against Thanksgiving, and I wanted shirts before the students went on vacation! Manfred and Awards-Plus got it done, and not only that, the shirts exceeded my expectations. I am completely satisfied, and can't wait to work with Awards Plus again! As soon as next week! read more
