I cannot recommend this place enough! My dog lovesss going the vet, and after the first vet I tried taking him, I was worried he was going to hate all vet visits, but he is so excited to go here! I got him at 8 weeks and he had to start shots all over again once I got him because of how he got them before he became mine, and the first vet visit at another place he was terrified and shaking in my lap almost the whole time during the exam and shots. With how the staff treated us and how scared he was, I'm so glad this place was recommended to me. When my boy got his next set of shots here, he had no idea he had even gotten shots at all. Not a flinch, not a look behind, he just knew that his friend had really good treats and lots of pets. Every set of shots after went just as smooth, and he very quickly started getting excited to go to the vet and they have made the experience nothing but positive for him! They have all been so kind and patient and friendly to me and my boy, I never feel rushed through and they spend as much time as they need to answer any and all questions, provide the most information, and have been very transparent and understanding of the financial side of things. I'm impressed with how quickly they remember my boy, and greet him by name as soon as we walk in, and the techs are always excited to see my crazy eyed boy! Even if he's been taken back without me, he comes trotting out with a smile. Even after I could hear that he was not a fan of his nails being trimmed, but he was quite dramatic about that when he was younger so I knew that he was never hurt, just vocal. After he got his sutures taken out, they even had a Valentine's Day Photo Booth and sent me the adorable pictures! (With permission to take the pics) I'm just impressed they got him to sit still for any photos! Nothing but great things to say about this vet and the people working within it. What a fantastic place if you are looking for a vet home. The team at the ADA Animal Hospital is so wonderful. For years I have taken my cat here for her wellness checks. They are great at their communication, prompt appointments, and listening to all your questions. While they have always been rockstars in my book, it was my move to another country that left me in AWWW. Their continued patience with my questions, check-ins, and flying concerns made me even more thankful for their expertise. Moving international is already really difficult, but then add your favorite family member moving with you (fur baby) and the stress is off the charts. The team really worked with me and all the mandated steps to get my fur baby safely to another country with me with the lease amount of bumps. When looking for a vet I want competence, knowledge in all areas of health, and caring. Instead they seem to care more about money. This place is a very clinical hospital setting, its clean sure but very uncomfortable. My dog wasn't feeling well and was there for x rays. I told them I did not want her vaccinated as we were traveling and I'd speak with my normal vet about it. I needed to know why she wasn't well. They took her back, and came back to tell me she had a tumor. And gave me a rabies tag. When I followed up with the vet about how unhappy I was, I was told they don't consider cancer systemic and vaccines would have no effect. I highly disagree, science disagrees, and the vaccine inserts state not to use on sick dogs. She said it was a local law, but in reality the vet can write an exemption for health reasons. Not to mention I don't live in that area and it does not apply to my dog. So what the actual hell are these vets learning besides push drugs and toxins and kill your pets. Absolutely unacceptable and unethical and beyond stressful for me and my dog. She seems to be having a reaction to the vaccine as well, so how I proceed I don't know. If you want to poison your dog as much as possible, use this vet. I wish there was a way to fix what they did, but the damage is done. I'll likely not forgive myself for putting my girl in the incompetent hands of this place and letting them damage her health further. read more

Our Siberian Husky was struggling with his left eye. He did something or got infected during one of our walks. It looked like Cherry Eye, which is significant, and usually requires medical attention that cannot wait. We are on a health plan at Banfield and when I called Banfield, to get him an appointment, they did not have any open appointments for more than seven days. I went ahead and booked the appointment but was determined to find another vet who could see our Husky sooner. I reached out to my daughter and her boyfriend, who told me that they had taken several of their family's pets to Ada Animal Hospital. I immediately called and was able to get an appointment the following day. I called back Banfield to cancel their appointment so that it could be freed up for someone who may need it I drove out to Ada Animal Hospital and almost passed it. It doesn't seem like much from Victory but if you make the turn-in and park, it still doesn't look like much. After surviving the surroundings, I was not sure if I had come to the right place. Another vehicle parked and out pranced a Labra-Doodle and decided to let them in first and then follow with our Husky. Once inside, the staff was amazing. Super friendly, super personal. Wow! Our Husky was placed in an examination room and it was clean and organized. One of the staff members came in and asked some background questions and told me that the vet would be in shortly. In less than five minutes, the vet came in, we chatted, she gave me a brief overview, and then took our Husky for an eye exam. About ten minutes, the vet and our Husky returned, and the vet explained that our Husky does not have Cherry Eye but did scratch his eyelid and it would need to be treated with drops and some anti-bacterial pills. I paid and went home and begin treatment and our Husky has been recovering well. About two days ago, I got a card in the mail from Ada Animal Hospital. It was a thank you card with all the staff's signatures. If you need to see a vet and you want personalized service from a local business, I strongly recommend Ada Animal Hospital. We have a vet that is a 5 minute walk from our house, but instead I spend 45 minutes wrestling my Great Pyrenees mix into my car because it is SO WORTH IT (and also because I get to count wrestling a giant dog as a workout ). The staff has a great sense of humor, and are always friendly. We have had two different issues with our dogs lately. One of them had a super uncommon diagnosis that was so quickly determined and our dog is doing fantastic with the recommended treatment. I wrote the doctors name down on a sticky note, but my dog threw up on it on the way home. I believe her name was Dr Turner, but don't quote me on that. Anyway, she was super knowledgeable and honest. For the first time, I feel like we have a vet who doesn't try to get us to do a million extra tests ($$$). My husband and I were really pleasantly surprised at how low the invoice was!! Also, when I called them about my dog's scary sudden bulging eyes (imagine a golden retriever x chameleon hybrid, that's what she looked like.), they got me in that day. I think within 2 hours or so of my call. I was paranoid thinking my dog had a brain tumor and was keeping her away from my kids in case it caused a personality change--and also because the kids were afraid of her "scary eyes". Came to Ada Animal Hospital when my dog cut her leg while we were out in the foothills. It was 5pm on a weekday when she hurt herself. Fearing I'd have to pay the sometimes exorbitant prices of emergency clinics, I phoned my usual veterinary clinic which is open until 6pm. They weren't able to help us until the next day. So, after having read a positive review of Ada Animal Hospital and having had a friend of mind highly recommend them, with little hope that they'd be able to see us that evening--I gave them a call. They also close at 6pm but receptionist said she could squeeze us in at 5:30pm. We arrived at 5:30pm, filled out some quick paperwork, and they took her back. A little while later, they brought her out with her wound cleaned and stapled and a prescription of antibiotics in hand. They helped us arrange an appointment for two weeks later to get her staples removed. The entire appointment took a total of 30 minutes and cost $125. I was absolutely stunned at how efficient, professional, kind, and reasonably priced they were. The fact that they were able to get us in so late in the day and on such short notice was completely above and beyond. I am so grateful to them! I would definitely trust my beloved fur family to them without reservation. Get to it! read more

I typically don't review something unless it was a horrible experience that I want to help others avoid, but this place is one I absolutely have to send a shout-out to. Our cat had recently been in a cat fight, and we were afraid he had broken his tail. It was extremely swollen, he would cry in pain when we touched it, he was lethargic...etc. I called Ada Animal Hospital about 45 minutes before closing the other night, and tried to make an appointment for him to get checked out the next morning. They weren't having any of that. The friendly receptionist told me to go ahead and bring him in, and she'd make sure he got taken care of that night. Turns out it was an infected tail from a kitty bite during his fight, and although he was not a happy camper at the time naturally, he's doing much better only 2 days later and is getting back to his happy, active self. I can't thank you enough for fitting us in even though you all likely had to stay later because of us. This will definitely be the first place we turn to next time we need a vet! If you ever start doing reptiles, our tortoise will be your first new patient! Thanks again everyone! read more

The service was wonderful, the office also called the next day to check up on her, AND they sent us a card in the mail to welcome us. A+ service! These guys truly care about your pet! I had been referred to this office several times by friends and strangers. Once my cat got sick, and I couldn't get him into his normal vet (the office at the animal shelter), I gave them a call. They got me in the same day and took excellent care of him. He has ongoing problems with his lungs, but was having more severe problems. They studied of all his records and his recent chest X-rays, and soon enough, Dr. Loertscher made a plan to get him feeling better. Within a couple of days, we had him pretty much back to 100% and he has been doing well ever since. I've taken my other pets there and they are always able to get me in within 48 hours. They even call you the next day to follow-up to make sure you don't have any more concerns. Very highly recommended! All their staff that I have spoken to has been absolutely wonderful and the care they provide is top-notch! read more

So I was referred to this vet by a friend/coworker of mine. I brought in my cat and puppy for this first time today. The front desk ladies were nice but the girl who examined my cat, I assume a vet tech, but I wouldn't know because she didn't have a name tag on nor did she introduce herself, never said a word to us or my cat. Then the vet proceeded to come into the room and immediately just started listening to my cat. My husband then introduced he and I and still the vet did not introduce himself. Yes, I know his name is on the front of the clinic but as new patients to his establishment, it would have been nice if he had introduced himself and talked to us a bit. Then he started giving my cat his shots but did not tell me what they were. It has been awhile since we had a young cat and I had forgotten what shots they are suppose to get so I wanted to know. When they were finished we went to the front desk and was told our total bill. I had to ask for a copy of the bill, which is usually standard business. Then I was told they were not able to put the information about my cat and puppy's home again chip into the computer and I would have to call and do that myself when I got home, which I did. I was totally not impressed with this visit at all and will not go back. read more

I've been bringing my dogs to this clinic for a long time. I called today because my dog suddenly developed a nasty gagging/couching issue. They could hear how bad the gagging was over the phone and got me right in. I just love the staff and the doctor. I get very grossed out by some of the doggy issues and we have a good time laughing about it while the dogs get their care. I really appreciate their customer service and follow through with phone calls after each visit. Most people doctors don't even do that. We appreciate this clinic, and even though we have many vets closer to our home, these guys are worth the drive! Thank you!! read more

Amazing!!!! 2 days ago my coonhound almost 6 months) was very sick and wouldn't eat or drink and could barley walk. I took her All Valley Animal Care at 11:30 last night and they told me to wait in the truck with her and they would test her for Parvo. I waited till close to 2 am and then I just told them I'd come back early in the morning. I got there around 5:30 and they told me they would be out in 5. Waited till 7:20 and someone finally came out and said "sorry but we actually don't have any more parvo tests we didn't realize we were out until now" she then told me she had called the humane society and they have tests there. So I drove down there and they told me they didn't have any either. I'm getting annoyed at this point, Indy looks miserable and I was really worried. I get on my phone and google Veterinarians close to me and found Ada animal hospital. They were so nice over the phone and when I got there the someone immediately ran out to the truck gave her the test and came back in 10 minutes with the results. She tested negative so the doctor then took her back to the exam room and checked her out. Everyone in the office was so kind and helpful I seriously can't thank them enough. Today Dr. Loertscher called to check in on her and make sure she is doing better. I'm so grateful for everyone there who made me feel like I wasn't just another annoying dog lady. They really care about the animals well being and keeping the owners happy as well. 10/10 read more

Amazing! I'll start there. After receiving an astronomical dental quote from my previous vet, I decided to look for options. I read the glowing reviews on Ada Animal Hospital and decided I'd check them out. I was armed with the quote from the other vet and went to the front desk at Ada. I was greeted by a warm smile and hello. I showed the nice tech my quote and explained my dilemma. She looked at the quote, cocked her head and said, "We might have had one go that high, but hardly ever." She followed that with the offer of a free dental exam for all 3 of my little ones. A couple days later I was in with Dr. Loertscher. He was great with littles; Pepé didn't even bite him! I walked out with a quote for the threesome close to of my previous quote. When surgery day came I was asked if I'd like to called after each dog was finished. I said yes. I never expected the update call to come from Dr. L! Turns out there was more work needed on one dog than originally thought. No problem, I figured it might just go a bit over the quote. Wrong! After all was done my bill was less than the quote. Who does that! The next day it was Dr. L that called to see how my littles were doing. This man and his staff go out of their way to ensure quality care. It's obvious in every step. This place is by far the WORST clinic I have ever been to! The clinic itself is run down and unclean with very little space. My first appointment I witnessed one of the Vets come into the waiting room and tell a lady that her dog had cancer and was dying in front of people in the waiting room as if it was nothing and she began to cry in front of everyone. I found that unprofessional. Every interaction i had with the staff there was beyond aweful. Jessica the receptionist is extremely rude every time Ive spoken with her. They dont call you back for days and treat you like you are inconveniencing them if you call them. They are money hungry and lack compassion, and are extremely rude. The lady Veterinarian there is the absolute worst, she could care less about the animals she simply wants to rack up a large bill and get on with her day, she could care less. I wouldnt reccomend this place if it was the only vet around. Aweful aweful aweful. read more
