Weeks later the whole car ended up running worse, once we took it back they had told us that there was plenty of other issues that were never addressed last time. I've spent years buying vehicles from the I-5 Motors group, including Awesome Chevrolet, and giving them business out of loyalty. We've purchased several rigs, done all our maintenance through them, and even stuck with them after they sold us a lemon. To their credit, they made that one right by letting us exchange the truck. No damage was done to the engine but they only wanted to do a complete engine replacement. Now we have to have our car towed somewhere else. Not willing to just fix what broke. Doesn't understand the stock models - claims not under warranty [[HIGHLIGHT]]2. Don't call to say parts came in - makes the customer chase them down[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 3. Ordered the wrong part (right vs left seriously?) 4. Doesn't do a proper alignment on the new part replaced under warranty [[HIGHLIGHT]]5. Ghosts the customer after they pick up their car, when they try contact them to resolve the issue[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 6. Avoid Read on for the details: I took my stock 2023 Camaro ZL1 with a track pack (1LE) to them because of a noise from the left front strut. They originally told me my car was not covered under warranty because it had aftermarket parts in it?!? After I told them to look up the 1LE package they realized their first mistake, too bad for me, that it wasn't the last one, it was only the first of many. I was told the strut needed replacement, they would order the parts and would take a week, picked up the car. I told them the car has a dual mode alignment (street and track) and wanted to make sure that the alignment was redone for both. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service advisor Dawn McFadden, told me don't worry about it we will make sure its done right (see text screenshot attachment)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]2 Weeks later I had to follow up with them asking if the parts were in?. Then I dropped the car off, but got a call once I got home (40miles) that they ordered the wrong side (right instead of left).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Waiting for parts again. Again I had to chase the advisor down if the parts had come in and took the car back in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Got a call later that day saying that the car would need to be kept another day, as the alignment came back and the steering wheel wasn't straight. I reminded Dawn about the dual mode alignment (I'm getting really nervous at this point). To their credit with all the screwups they did throw in a free oil change. Next day I pick up the car, no service notes or notes on the work order about even having any alignment been done. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was told I would have to talk to Dawn as she was gone for the day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Called her the next day and she forwarded to me the alignment specs, but didn't show that the track one was done. Also it showed that they only adjusted the toe?!? They hadn't touched the camber - it was left out of spec on the newly replaced part (maybe they don't know how to adjust camber?!?). [[HIGHLIGHT]]After that Dawn ghosted me, no longer replying to my emails, texts or returning any phone calls. Seriously unprofessional.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I tried escalating by calling the service manager but he too doesn't return calls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great example of the complete lack of professionalism, follow through or customer service mindset at Unawesome Chevrolet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Keep in mind I paid a different Chevy dealer almost $800 for a good street and track alignment and this shop couldn't even do a basic alignment one, avoid! read more

Went in looking for a 2500 gasser truck. Had a 2018 ram 3500 drw and a 2018 camry to trade in. Told them the reason wanted the gas truck , they didn't have any and asked if I thought about an all electric truck. They had 1(one) in their showroom. Told them NO I hadn't because I wanted to travel and pull mt trailer. They told me they can get 480 miles per charge and tow 12,500lbs. Asked how far they can go towing a 9000lb trailer. Was given #'s that ranged from 225-270. I thought that was pretty good. Bought the truck based on what they told me. Towed my trailer, started at 100% battery and was at 29% when I went 110 miles to my destination. A far cry from the 225 minimum that they said I would get. I understand I still have 29% left, but nobody takes it down to 0%, and 29% wouldn't get me another 100 miles. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Went in to talk to them, and the more I talked the madder I got. Bosses were hiding in their office watching the whole thing. told salesman they were a bunch of cowards and if they cared they would come out of their office.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Salesman went in and then he came out. told him the same thing I told the salesman. I even got accused of NOT doing my research before buying.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They said they would make it right. Their RIGHT was to offer me $15,000 less than what I paid for it as a trade-in. It was a week old and had 800 miles on it. There's a lot more to this story that I don't have time to say. But there is 5 dealerships that are owned by the same person. I-5 Ram. I-5 toyota, Awesome Chevrolet, Awesome Ford/RV, and Awesome VW/RV. I've bought ALL my cars from them. Ram tried to screw me, they got caught, Toyota tried to screw me, they got caught. Brought my car here to get pcm replaced and a headlight recall done. they snapped the plastic housing on headlight for the bulb to lock into when they reinstalled. And I got my car back with my abs buzzing randomly getting my car fixed here with these jobs being completely unrelated why were they near my wheel bearings or brake system when I went here for a headlight recall and a pcm replacement. read more

Took my vehicle in for a leaky rear window and several other issues. I was told they would dry my carpets out as they were soaked from the leak. Upon picking my vehicle up the interior was still soaking wet and the other issues were hardly addressed. The service department was closed when I picked up my vehicle so I called the following Monday and was transferred to the service manager. This individual proceeded to make excuses for the dealership and then hung up on me when he didn't like what I had to say. During my last visit to the service department, I asked that the tires be rotated. Afterwards, as I left the parking lot, I got several warnings about two of the tire sensors not working. I didn't have time to turn back, and figured I would ask them to fix it at the next oil change service. Today when I went in, they said that all of the tire sensors would need to be replaced and it would be more than $700! My husband worked at Discount Tire, and I have worked for GM, Mercedes, VW, J.D. Power, and BMW. We are not stupid about vehicles. We had no problems whatsoever with these sensors until that tire rotation. Awesome Chevrolet should be fixing what they messed up, free of charge. read more

Part of the deal when I bought a vehicle from Awesome Chevy was that all the oil changes and maintenance would be done at their location. So on my day off I looked them up and saw they open at 9am. I called to make an appointment at 9:30 to give them some time to get settled and the phone rang until it went to a VM. I left a message and waited a few hours but never got a callback. That was frustrating so I went online and made the appointment myself. Brought my car in at 4:00 and tried to present my card that shows my maintenance deal but the desk lady didn't want to see it. Then they took my car back and told me to wait on the waiting room and they'd come get me when it was ready. Maybe a half hour later I look outside and see my vehicle sitting there...I figured they were completing my paperwork and would come get me soon. 10 more minutes went by and I finally went and asked if it was ready and the front desk lady looked surprised (like she forgot existed) and got me checked out. Also, I'm did not see any of the employees wearing masks even though there were printed out signs all over their business saying "please wear a mask regardless of your vaccination status" and they didn't seem like the types to be vaccinated. So you might get Covid if you're riding around with the sales team test driving new cars. Not great communication and just kind of rude. Happy with the oil change though! read more
