Ricky and Jas were super helpful and accommodating. The music was on point and he show us some really neat trick shots. Can't wait to come back!!

Highly recommend this for any event or just a night out. My friends and I had a blast. The location we went was in downtown. One of our friends was handicapped and it wasn't handicapped accessible but we managed. They train you before you go and are very focused on safety. Parking is a mission though.

We came for a friend's surprise birthday. She was really excited as she had done it before and in the same place. Check in was simple, they just have you sign a waiver and if you don't have closed toe shoes, they offer some shoes to borrow as well as socks. Our trainer, Manny, was super chill and helpful in teaching you how to throw the axe. He walks you through the whole process and leaves until he sees you are comfortable enough to do it on your own. Everyone had a lot of fun blowing off steam.

Have you ever wanted to be Thor but just don't have a place to practice your Hammer throwing skills? Then come to Extreme Axe Throwing! You have an Axepert that can show you how to perfect your axe throwing capabilities for that one day when you need to slay the day with an AX! While it's not Thor's hammer, it is sharp enough to penetrate through thick wood! When you book an Axe cage you get to have 2 practicing targets, so one side can be for the real pros who have their Thor skills down pat and the other side can be for the Amateurs that can drool and wish they have your impeccable Ax throwing finesse. Make sure to wear protective shoes, you don't want any toes getting axed! Limited food and drink options are available for a very reasonable price but I cannot attest to the quality as I was too focused on perfecting my aim for the Day I need to show off my newfound skill set.

Great service and cool place. Very good with social distancing! Love axe throwing. Highly recommend people to come. They even have a cool deal where you can do axe throwing and go to escape room! Super cool and cheap. Definitely coming back for that!

I've visited Axe Habit for a family night activity. The staff was friendly. We received a lesson on how to properly handle and throw the axe. It was challenging and definetly a skill to practice but once you nail the bulls eye it's so rewarding. My party had a child and they were accommodating. For children they recommend the End Grain lanes and the axes are also lighter. We all enjoyed the experience.

I really liked my experience here. This is kind of a outro le hole in the wall type of place in downtown Brickell. We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday with our friends and had a blast competing against one another in rounds. The instructors are super chilled and laid back while explaining everything really well. The throw is really easy to pick up on, but the GAME is actually hard to win lol I recommend to anyone looking to de-stress and have a good time trying something new. TIP: being closed toe shoes. I made the mistake of wearing sandals and had to rent their shoes + socks.

We came here on a Sunday for family fun with our two kids. This place is pretty cool.. the reason for my 4 stars was the lecture we received by one of the associates. I asked him if the teaching was part of our 60 minutes and he said " unfortunately your reservation was for 1:00 and you all showed up at 1:02". Ummm! Ok sir for two minutes?? Really?? The flight of stairs alone.. fine okay whatever... so he took 20 minutes of our time to emphasize the importance of the mask as if we weren't wearing our mask... ok fine moving on... at first we were the only family there and a few moment later another family showed up... their instructional session didn't take as long as ours nor did the get the lecture of wearing a mask... my family and I want to be safe no matter what so we ALWAYS WEAR OUR MASK, so for this associate to stress this was weird.. Overall, my family and I had a good time, however, I do not like how this associate welcomed us.. he kept threatening to put anyone out if we didn't abide by the rules.. this is before we even started playing ... and upon arrival... perhaps he was having a bad day, however you do not welcome your guest like this whether you are a "hospitality" venue or not ( he also told us his facility wasn't a hospitality venue) We came and we experienced, however, we probably won't be back to this location considering the experience we had.. Oh one more thing he told us to walk and follow the lines.. because they believe in walking in circles over here LOL!! Ok sir!! Maybe management can do a better job at welcoming their guest in another way than giving lectures..

This hole in the wall place is a great place to try axe throwing for a date night or an activity to do with a large group of friends. The atmosphere was great, the aesthetics were cool, and the "axeperts" were very helpful in teaching you how to safely throw there axe. They even had a bar serving a variety of beers and there were a variety of fun games to play, such as Giant Jenga. Pro tip: Parking is hard to find, but there is a parking lot across the street by the train tracks. Although it is expensive since you have to pay for 8+ hours at a time, it's hard to find other places to park

Nice place for friend or company outing. Something different from just hanging out at a club or bar having the same conversations you've had a thousand times before. Staff(Bodhi was great) caters the interaction to your energy level, want some instruction, they're happy to help. Want to be left to your own devices? They'll be more than happy to leave you alone. So go have a few beers while you throw sharp objects, just don't hit your friends.

We had a hard time finding this location, there's a bit of construction going on around it, there were homeless people sitting right on the entrance and the place is on the second floor. They should probably get a better sign. We went for my bf's birthday. We had previously made reservations which was seamless on the website. Once we arrived, we got checked it and went straight to our bay, the staff is super chill and friendly. They have beers and some snacks, but also let you byof, definitely recommend this place for a group. It was a blast!

I DID actually hit the target at one point, I swear!

Activate is basically a big arcade where you use your body to play the games. There's some more active games than others, but you'll definitely get a workout in here. The check in process is pretty quick, just make sure you fill out the waiver and make your account prior to showing up. Once you arrive, they'll check you in and give each person a player wristband as well as a wristband for a locker for your stuff. You'll link the wristband to your account and then you're good to go back and play. When you go in the back, it's basically a big dimly lit room with lots of game rooms. You walk around and it has the name of the game room. Each room has multiple different game modes you can play in it. Each member of your group scans their watch and then you choose which game mode you want to play and then enter. If someone is in there already it'll have them finish their game and then kick them out and it'll be your turn. They also have instructions on how to play each game on the screen. Once you enter the room, they don't really give you any instructions on how to play the game, so it sometimes took us a few tries before we got the game down. If it's busy and people are waiting for the game, it'll only let you play 1 round before it'll make you exit so the other people waiting can play so definitely try to go during the week or during slower times so you have the possibility of staying in the same room longer and playing games continuously. If no one is waiting it'll let you play on forever basically. It is pretty dark in the game rooms/walk around area so if you have bad eyesight just a heads up on that. Also if you're sensitive to bright lights there are some rooms with super bright lights. All in all I had a great time here, my friends and I did 1 hour and it was perfect, but if you're going during a busier time I recommend doing the 90 minute session.
