THE WORST! The crew is rude, condescending, and overall nasty! They yell at you in front of all the other guests if "you throw too hard".... and they also insult you by saying out loud "it's not rocket science to throw an ax!!!".... As a customer, the last thing I want is to be insulted by the merchant if I'm paying to blow off some steam. The dark metal music in the background is so loud that we couldn't even talk amongst ourselves. The seating is extremely uncomfortable. SUPER strict rules (everything ends with "no refund"). The location is literally in the worst part in this area (you'll see when you get there).... and don't expect a good variety of drinks / food either. Awesome, awesome, awesome facility! My work crew had a team building event here, and it was such a great experience. Amber and Q were the two staff members that assisted us in learning how to properly throw and hosting our competition. It's tough to get the hang of it (for some of us) and Amber and Q were both so patient! It was really nice to have someone help you that doesn't get frustrated. Whether it was taking one more step back, keeping my wrists straight, or bending my arms properly. They also had really delicious chips!! And a nice event area for our team to hang. They have electronic targets as well, which is fun, and giant Jenga. This place is great and the staff was truly wonderful. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Miami. read more

What a great experience. Went to celebrate a friends birthday and we had the best time ever. There was a fee just under $35 per person, which included axe throwing and unlimited beer. You can have 1 beer before you start throwing and the rest after your done throwing. The instructors were amazing, and encouraging. They made sure we all had a good time and were throwing. The outside patio is very nice and romantic vibe with couches and benches overlooking the arena and freedom tower. I can't wait to go back. This was such a cool and different experience! I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my boyfriend. The location is right by the American Airlines Arena. We were able to get street parking and did PayByPhone. As soon as you walk in there are a flight of stairs to go up, I don't think I saw any access to elevators. Once you're at the top, there's a hostess area straight ahead, and a bar plus seats to the left as well as behind the bullseye. Once you sign a waiver and select the amount of time, you then get directed to the axe throwing area with the bullseye. You get a quick instruction on technique and safety rules. Then the fun begins! We did it for 60min and I thought that was a good amount of time for a couple. We had so much fun, don't be surprised if you start breaking a sweat (like I did!!). The instructor then came when we had 5 minutes left to give us a heads up. We paid at the end of our session and made sure to take a few pictures by the axe throne! Lol If you're looking for something fun and different, definitely try this experience out! read more

No drinks in the cage, no axes outside of the cage. This would be a cool double date but I would not recommend it for groups over 4-5 persons because they do not have that many lanes. This place is a new hot spot so you should create your reservation ahead of time. There is bar where you can grab drinks and although they didn't have food when we visited I think they normally do. Very fun, very entertaining and a great time. The Satisfaction of hitting your target and seeing your throw improve over time fills a competitive spirit soul. You can keep score and make games out of it with your partners and see who's the better axe thrower. It gives you the satisfaction of a target range but with more of a primitive tool (A throwing Axe) rather than bullets. Everyone was very helpful and very kind and the training was quick, easy and useful. They have a nice bar area to have a canned drink and a nice outdoor patio to take a breather. We had a great time celebrating a birthday at Extreme Axe Miami. We weren't sure what to expect from this fairly new experience but from the moment we booked things were well organized. Pricing very fair and the time 90min of "axing" were more than ample time for our party of 7 (we had two "lanes"). Our "Axpert" was funny, informative and gave us helpful tips when we started to get tired (axing can be pretty exhausting!). She showed us ways to make it more interesting when she saw the group getting a bit too comfy in the seating area, she was awesome at keeping us engaged! Huge bonus we weren't expecting- beer! While keeping the environment super safe and fun. Also, if you are worried about "the video"- unless you are an idiot literally trying to hurt yourself or others, that wont happen! I was not good at all but the employees really made sure that we were learning from them and improving. Storm was very nice and took the time to show us all his great technique. The 2nd part of our activity was the escape rooms. We were 16 people so we were split right in half. The escape room also exceeded my expectations, and I've done several before!
