Great spot and good value for time and money. We paid about $200 for 5 people for 75 min of axe throwing and we had so many turns and so much time to learn and play. One axe wall was more beat up than the other and I think even when the axe hit the wall it would still slip, so that was a little disappointing. We added on plate breaking and it's set up where you throw it against the wall with a baseball so it feels like a carnival. Devin was a great host! read more

This place was very empty when we visited on a Saturday. The person working was super friendly. We did archery and disc throwing, which is really throwing a ball at plastic plates. Archery was okay. It's $40 per person for 90 mins. But 90 mins is too long to do that. It was a bit lame. read more

This place was absurdly awesome. We happen to have the whole place to ourselves. We went for axe throwing (first time), and although i sucked at it, the workers were there to give pointers, visuals, and different games to try. We loved it, and i would highly recommend checking them out. I would love to try the human foosball (larger groups) or plate smashing. They do not offer food, but you can purchase candy bars, chips, and waters or other drinks. I know we will be back in the future with a group of friends. read more

My husband and I came here for a date night. I was initially skeptical, but it was a super fun experience. Of course, I sucked in the beginning, but Devin, the guy on staff when we visited, was very helpful and offered lots of pointers. I still sucked, but not as bad. I even won one of the games we eventually ended up playing! Definitely recommend this if you have never done it before, or even if you have. Great workout as well. Two thumbs up! read more

This place is so cool for date night. Came with my boyfriend and his friend on a double date. We did archery. I liked the fact that they were able to social distant people so it was only us 4. They sanitize everything and provide hand sanitizer. All staff wore mask. Our host was super friendly showed us how to play a few games and made sure we got the hang of it before leaving us alone. She even offered to take pics of us which was so sweet of her. read more

What an Axe-cellent location! We went here twice because I enjoyed it so much. Both on the same week. Our instructor was the ever so quirky and kind John (not sure I remember it correctly). But he's a young man carrying his custom made dual axe around his waste. He's very knowledgeable for a young kid. I like how organize and neat the location is. I just wish 2 people can throw at two different stations at the same time. They definitely have to figure that out. They can do so much more with the place. This location also has an arrow section and a plate breaking (stress relief) section. The price is ideal for location. 75 minutes!! Do not arrive late or you will lose your time. Bathrooms are clean. The location overall is clean. Parking is not hard to find. We came on Sunday so it wasn't as bad. I totally enjoyed this place. read more

Came in here one cold, sunny afternoon on a Sunday. The place had just opened and it was pretty empty. Overall, the place seemed cool and a great place to hang for a couple of hours. I took off one star because of the attitude I received from the front desk. One of my party members was unable to come, so I had asked if I could get a store credit to redeem. She rudely said no, citing the facility's policy. Although each reservation is non refundable, it would have showed a gesture of customer service to offer a free soda or declined more professionally. I was a little taken aback by it. Nonetheless, the axe thrower made up the difference. He was super chill, showed lots of pointers and maintained a pleasant attitude throughout our slotted time. Overall, it wasn't a bad place to come for entertainment. I would still come back and maybe try one of their other activities as well. However, next time I won't book until I know all party members can come until the day of. read more

We had fun it was low tech ax throwing. The staff Helped with not only the mandatory safety but kind of knew had to tell you what to do to throw better. It was kind on smelly could not identify it, maybe wet wood, you got used to it. But it was the cleanest place. All in all fun but don't waste your money in plate throwing. The plates were disappointing and it seemed forever and old after the first 10 plates, 30 seconds of 10 minutes. read more

Excellent place for a kick axe time! The prices were very reasonable for an hour and a half of axe throwing, and the staff made the experience incredible! After reviewing the basics and giving us some time to practice our axe throwing, we were introduced to a variety of games to keep things fresh and exciting throughout the entire experience. When one of us was struggling, they even suggested modifications to the games to make things more equitable. I've been to a few axe throwing places, and this one felt like the best personalized experience out there. read more

This place was hella fun! I was actually running late, but Tony was great with shuffling us through quickly so that we got plenty of fun out of the limited time that we had. He introduced us to a number of axe throwing games, which was great for our party of six. They leave one lane empty between parties for social distancing, and have hand sanitizer at every lane. Cubbies allow you to stow your personal belongings away. Will return to try football bowling and plate throwing! read more

Wow! So much fun for kids of all ages. Our instructor Dom is amazing. You can tell he enjoys what he does. He suggested fun axe throwing competition games to play to make the axe throwing fun and challenging. I highly recommend this activity. Archery and football bowling are also offered. All I can say is "amazinggggggg"! It was literally soooooooooooooimuch fun! Customer service is A1 !!! Tony helped me and my fiancé out. He was sooooo informative, nice and funny. He showed us how to throw the axe and showed us some games to play!!! It was such a good time especially during this pandemic! I always wanted to try axe throwing and was so excited to finally get to chuck an axe at a board. It was about over $40 per person with tax so it was kind of pricey. The guy who showed us how to properly throw an axe was very kind and helpful, and even gave us some fun games to play to keep us entertained for that hour and 15 mins. I don't know how often I'd do this or if I'd want to go again because we did get a lil bored/ tired towards the end but it was definitely something I wanted to do at least once. read more

Went here Friday for a friend's birthday, a group of 4 of us. I had called ahead to see what COVID safety measures they were utilizing. Every group was private, with a full set up in between groups. The owner was spraying down all surfaces with disinfectant. And masks were required for the entirety of our visit. After many months cooped up, we all were looking for something fun to do! We had the best time and Dom was a great instructor. Even the least athletic/coordinated in our group (me) was able to hit the board! Great way to get out pent up frustrations and many laughs. Our first time at axe throwing. It was empty when we got there at 5:00 on a weekday afternoon. Our guide Kiara was great. She taught us the basics of axe-throwing, though there really isn't all that much to learn in terms of technique. Just don't throw it backwards or let it drop on your foot! You get 75 minutes of time for your session. For four of us, that was plenty, and Kiara taught us some games to play to make it more fun. It wasn't too hard to learn to throw. The distance isn't too far, maybe 15-20 feet? The wood board you are aiming at can tend to become more loose as you keep throwing at it as it starts to splinter, which means your axe may not stick in as well and may just fall out if not thrown hard enough. Then we decided to do the plate blasting event, where you get 10 plastic plates to line up on shelves and you throw a softball at them to smash them. Nothing complicated about it, but just a fun event to compete against others. There are other things to do there, like archery and football bowling. The archery didn't seem too realistic, as the distance to the target isn't far and it's velcro tipped, not a true arrow. All in all, a fun experience at events that aren't easy to do on your own, and a little pricy at that. Reservations online are required and paid by credit card, as they need to supply staff to man the event. I guess they don't have a consistent staff there all the time. You can also add on events if available while you're there and just pay onsite for those. But Kiara made it fun and she was very attentive with us. read more

Everything about this place was fantastic! Easy street parking. We tried axe throwing and obviously, it was very challenging as it was our first time. However, our instructor was approachable, friendly, encouraging and patient! She stayed with us for the entire 75 minute session and suggested fun games and different approaches/methods. We paid for 3 people for a 1-hour session, but were told only 2 could throw at a time (2 targets in one lane) due to "corporate policy." That left each person standing around for about 20 minutes--roughly a third of the time we paid for. What makes this especially hard to justify is that the venue was nearly empty, with multiple unused lanes (including ones right next to us) sitting idle the entire time. This policy wasn't disclosed when booking, and charging per person while limiting participation like this significantly reduces the value of the service; and of course made us unhappy and unable to enjoy the experience as much. Contacting the management produced excuses but no meaningful resolution.

Do not go to this place…read more I called to make an appointment, told him around 5-5:30, he said he'll put me down for 5. I said ok, but will there be a penalty if I show up late cause there's a chance I may be 10-15 mins late. He responded verbatim "well do you want the 5 o'clock or not?" At that point I should have called it off but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. We get there and it's a narrow stairway that leads down to a creepy little basement. As soon as we walked in the guy behind the desk gave off a big sigh. Didn't say a word just poked at his iPad while we waited awkwardly in silence for 2-3 mins. So I decided to leave, I said I'm sorry but I changed my mind, we gonna head out. He raised his voice and screamed "what do you mean you changed your mind?" I told him straight up you're hella rude, you were rude on the phone and you rude now. You didn't even greet us when we walked in. I get a text later saying I'm ban from future events they host. Like I would even go lol As you can see from his reply he has no remorse for the way he treats his customers. I'm sorry I wasted your time you could have been helping all your total of 0 customers in the place.

She never returned, she left her children at our umbrella for the entire day. The beach patrol, including SPO Benitez, did not care at all when I notified them. But they did care about giving citations to anyone on the beach, without warning, for having a hard seltzer/ice tea to make money. Go to Robert Moses instead, this beach has stooped very low.

Very spacious and clean pools. About 50-100 tanning lounge chairs to choose from. Very attentive lifeguards. Snack bar is available as well. A diving pool, Olympic pool, swimming lanes, adult section, and various feet of water to swim in. This is all included when you pay the one time fee for the day. So sad I only learned about them towards the end of the summer! They close on Labor Day. Will definitely make it a staple to come back next summer.

Clinton G. Martin Park is where our town pool is. When our kids were young we use to join every…read moreyear and it was like them having a play date every time we went because all their friends were there also. It was great, they would have their fill of fun and then we could go home and rest. Now years later my wife and I joined the newly renovated pool with all new lounge chairs, locker and rest rooms and a new kiddie pool with a slide. It is a huge improvement. It was ok before and now it is so much better. We came here quite a bit this year and really enjoyed it. There is no food allowed by the pool area but they have a snack stand with tables and benches where you can either purchase food or bring your own. We had a very nice time this season and will join again next. They also have other amenities at the park such as tennis and a meeting room.

Afternoon/evening session is 2:30-6:00. Currently 3:19 and enjoying a little lazing by the pool with a minimal crowd.

Occasionally, the park will hold certain culture nights, on the weekend that I visited they had a Caribbean night out near the amphitheater. A lot of people showed up and it definitely was not a disappointment. They even had a few celebrity, Caribbean singers. A lot of food vendors and arts and craft vendors were out and about making it worthwhile for the visitors. This park holds a lot of history, the memorial site down near the pond is a great place to watch the sunset. Here's a fun fact, Eisenhower State Park is larger than Central Park in Manhattan. If you ever get a chance to visit, I highly recommend. Not to mention there is also a golf course accessible to the public for a small day fee.

Check in was quick and efficient, want to be even faster fill out your waiver ahead of time online you have to create an account and can add household members. If you're an experienced climber you can bring your own shoes and chalk and rent or buy there. Our guide was amazing, Mya. Mya gave us a great run down of expectations and was consistently encouraging, with helpful hints and strategies. 100% deserves a shout out and promotion. There are different levels of rock climbs with pulley systems. Now again I don't know much about the sport but, more than the pulley area there were differentiated areas with spring floors and no pulleys, a tilt wall with light up rocks (definitely for the advanced) and a gym area simply to work out. Near the entrance there was an old cubby area as well to store your stuff and snackies to purchase as well. Overall a great first time experience. They offer an all day pass as well if you want to pop out to peruse the mall or grab lunch and come back. Had it just been two of us I dont think I would have lasted the full hour and a half. It's been 24 hours since the visit and boy my forearms are definitely feeling it. There are also some sitting areas for people/parents watching.

They have a small seating area where you can wait and watch other shoot in the meantime. There's a jacket rack in the hallway and a bathroom available. The staff there was very sweet and welcoming, and our instructor, whose name I didn't catch (tall, long hair), was a great teacher in going through safety and the basics & giving pointers and answering questions! Our lesson just had around 4 people total to begin with, and then 2 joined later, which seemed decent (since you have to wait until the last person clears shooting before we all grab our arrows again). After you're finished, you have the option to take your target sheet with you if you'd like a small momento! It was such a fun experience for me personally and a great date night place. Would definitely do it again and recommend it, especially for anyone who wants to try out archery!

This included the Slurpees that are self-serve at two spots in the park. On a hot day, these Slurpees were really really good and giving us life. Most of the parents got them, but we use them again this season? Probably not, but it kinda added to the fun, and we all had a really great time.

The optic is that " we don't value the season ticket holders". This isn't the first time this year either. A recent outing for our daughter's grammar school would not admit season ticket holders to the event. I've been around long enough to remember when adults didn't automatically have to pay to enter the park. Seems that after Covid, Adventureland has taken a new philosophy to soak every dime they can from the public including at the expense of season ticket holders. Please change this.
