Just docked a point because, at $41 per person, it does seem quite expensive, the axes needed some new grip tape and/or the old dangling pieces cut off.

I called multiple times, but the Owner's voicemail box was full. I sent a text message and an email and never received a response. When we arrived, the building was locked. At that point, we weren't even sure if our activity was happening. Then a separate group arrived and we were all standing around just waiting and perplexed. A woman from that group said she also never received a confirmation email and had been unable to reach anyone. So this wasn't an isolated issue. A little after 1:00 PM (when our activity was supposed to start) two employees arrived. At first they had a hard time accessing the building and had to go through an alternative route to let us in, so that killed more time. The employees explained that the owners were on vacation and all they knew is that they had had instructiins to be there at 1:00 PM. We eventually got started, but several things bothered me. The overall operation seemed disorganized. During check in, the topic of waivers came up and none of our groups had completed waiver forms before playing. I was also surprised by the lack of a beginner safety orientation. The website states that players receive a 10 minute orientation session. We were first time players. When we arrived, safety goggles and small black arm guards were sitting on a table, but they were not handed out or explained to us. As beginners, we had no idea what "those little straps" (arm bands) were for or that they protected against bowstring injuries or that goggles were [required] throughout play. Instead, we only received rules on how the game is played. Another concern was the protective equipment itself. The website shows players wearing full face protective masks and states that protective face masks are provided. However, there are were only goggles provided. During the event, my husband was struck in the eye area by an arrow after removing his goggles because they repeatedly fogged up and made it difficult to see. His eye was sore afterward and bright light is still bothering him. We hope there are no lasting effects. My daughter also suffered a significant abrasion on her arm from the bow. When we asked for ice, the employee told us there wasn't any available and ended up providing frozen popsicles instead. I have no clue why ice wasn't available for situations like these. There were not enough arrows available at times, so players had to wait for arrows to be returned before they could continue playing. The equipment did not appear to be well maintained either. Many of the arrows were missing fins, and some had only one fin left. The playing area was small, and there didn't seem to be enough barriers for the number of players. The space was also very warm, with only one industrial fan running. There was no water cooler or bottled water available for purchase. Finally, disinfectant wipes were sitting on the equipment table, and I guess people are responsible for cleaning their own goggles before use. When I wiped ours down, the wipes came away dirty, which made me question whether the equipment had been sanitized between groups. To be fair, the employees working that day were polite and did their best with what they had. They apologized profusely and even offered to let us play longer due to the delays. The young man was swift with addressing my daughter's abrasion. My frustration is with the ownership and overall management of the business. Between the lack of communication, unanswered calls and emails, poor safety procedures, lack of ice and general operational issues, this was not an experience I would pay for again.

I think I tried to get people together, and I just wasn't committed enough... plans fell through. So I forgot about it... until a friend said she was celebrating her birthday and this was the activity. I jumped for joy in anticipation of the outing. Our group arrived with plenty of time... and once our time slot was up, they let us put our jackets and pocket contents in little cubbies. Dodgebow is literally dodgeball with arrows. The bows are so easy to draw, and the arrow tips are soft and foamy. Having been a dodgeball team captain recently, AND already enjoying basic archery, it was my time to shine. We had a couple of practice rounds hitting targets and getting a feel for the field. It had inflatable obstacles to hide behind, and there were targets on the opposite end where we could revive our teammates. It was such a fun time, and I'm either considering this location or the other one for my birthday. I cannot wait until the next time! Justin and Jasmine made sure we stayed hydrated, and regularly brought us into the air conditioning to avoid overheating. They ensured our safety every moment we were there. The rope course was insanely fun, the giant swing and zip line were a blast and our favorite part was honestly the rock climbing! Justin and Jasmine were fantastic - we will definitely come back (preferably not during a heat wave haha) and hope they will be our guides again - every single person today made it memorable for my family! Usually when I visit places for open play the staff does not interact a lot or they just talk to each other. The girls working on Black Friday were very attentive. We were there with two other boys but they kept an eye on everyone. I have a 4 year old and a two year old. When one wanted my attention the staff watched the other one. It was great. I would definitely recommend if you need to go some where to burn the kiddos energy. Check out groupon. 5 visits for $25. I did have to pay tax $2.50. No big deal. Each visit will give you two hours. Neon Paint Place combines painting, rage room vibes, glow lights and music into one fun experience…read more My kids and I arrived for our session and were immediately gifted a full jump suit, hair and shoe covers and goggles to protect our clothing and body from paint. The host then went through the instructions. Paint anything, except the floor was the big rule that was emphasized. We were then led into the experience room. Here we each were given a ketchup sized bottle of glow paint (pink, blue, green, yellow and orange) and an easel with a mini canvas on it. The room was illuminated with a glow light. Music played. My son, 9, was all about squirting paint at the walls and at me. My daughter, 13, was more interested in painting on her easel. That's the beauty of Neon Paint Place, it offers something for the art lover, the kinesthetic mover and the music fan. All in one experience. We were given an hour in the room. At the end of our session, our creations were boxed up and sent home with instructions (let them dry for two days). Neon Paint Place is not cheap. It cost $40 dollars per person. Considering we got to fire multiple bottles of paint at each other, while having head to toe clothing protection and take a canvas home, this seems about right. I would definitely do this again!

We paid just under $100 for an adult and kid. We came during the week (Friday afternoon) and were fortunate enough to have the space to ourselves. That meant we got to paint each other as well as the walls freely. We also got to connect our own music, which made for extra fun. Great bonding experience for sure. An hour seemed like a long time and we didn't use the entire time but we had a blast. They put your paintings in boxes prior to you heading out, so you don't have to worry about messing it up. Logistics: street parking nearby but if you can walk, that's more guaranteed. When you get in, you will get a suit, footies, and goggles. The person working let me know that the suits are resistant but not proof. If you soak them, the paint will come through. You've been warned. There's a coat rack and they'll give you a bag to protect your belongings if you want. There's a ring light in the splatter room. They have two gender-neutral restrooms and they also do neon paint and sips which look fun. I look forward to coming back. Every member of the team here was super nice.
