The artwork on the walls is very tasteful. The equipment is state of the art. They have tv's mounted on the ceiling so you barely notice the time passing while having dental work done. If you need x-rays, they do them in the same treatment room with a handheld camera so you don't need to be moving all around. From the minute I walked in, I felt like it was a personal experience. Didn't have to do anything to check in, they immediately told me they'd take me back in just a few minutes (which they did), and they talked to me on a personal level remembering what we had talked about last time, asking about my family, etc. They either have amazing memories or take good notes, but either way it's nice to feel at home. The hygienist and the doctor both had excellent bedside manner while also being very informative of everything they were doing along the way. They are even very pleasant when telling you you need to floss more -- not at all in a nagging way! Haha :) During the visit, they took me to their pamper station where I got a paraffin hand wax treatment done to further the pleasant experience. Well the hygienist went and talked to their billing person, who insisted that his insurance would cover his whole mouth. They said they had called his insurance, were absolutely sure and again, convinced him to do it. They even gave him a written estimate of around $100 of out of pocket expenses. So, now they are presenting him with a huge bill that insurance won't cover and they are unwilling to help him at all. He's on disability with limited income so this is extremely bad and I feel terrible for having recommended them. It was literally a cleaning, with no special crowns or anything fancy like that and he is being asked to pay in the neighborhood of over $1000. I will likely have to find another dentist because of the way they've treated him. So, if you're not concerned about maybe receiving a huge surprise bill after your visit, with absolutely no accountability or help from the people who gave you the bad information, go ahead and go there. It's shocking, because they should and can come down on the bill since this totally their fault, but they really don't care.

After that, I began receiving text messages about an appointment on July 27, 2026, which I knew nothing about. On Saturday, July 25, 2026, I called and left a message asking for clarification. Today July 27, 2026, st 8:44 a.m., a young woman called me back. I explained that I was not aware of the July 28 appointment. She told me it was for X-rays. I explained that my teeth had already been X-rayed and examined. She placed me on hold, and when she returned, she said that the X-rays I received were only partial and that a full set was needed before the August 6 appointment. I told her that I had not scheduled that appointment and that I still had not received any information about the insurance coverage or estimated cost. In a rude tone, she asked how I wanted to proceed. Because of her negative attitude, I told her I did not feel comfortable moving forward. She then said, "Have a good day," and hung up. This was my first time visiting Cherokee Trail Dental Care. Previously, I had gone to Comfort Dental in Cherry Creek, where I was never treated rudely. I decided to look elsewhere because I felt their prices were increasing, and I wanted to be responsible by understanding the cost of treatment up front. Customer service matters. Based on this experience, I was very disappointed in how I was treated. Asking about pricing and insurance coverage should not result in rude or dismissive behavior.
