It was obvious someone was home and that the dog was distressed, but he just kept knocking and refused to give up/leave. When I finally answered, he falsely claimed he had just treated our neighbors' yard and that they told him to come do ours too & he acted like he was about to spray wither I liked it or not. None of that was true- We all use a different pest control company. I told him he was waking my baby because he had upset the dog and asked him to leave my property. Instead of leaving, he continued trying to sell me his service as I was literally closing the door. He then came back later that same day and again that weekend. I believe he was riding a Onewheel or hoverboard. I understand door-to-door sales are part of the job, but refusing to take "no" for an answer, repeatedly returning to a home, and using dishonest sales tactics is completely unacceptable. As a woman home alone a stranger knocking at my door repeatedly is SCARY in this day and age, especially one won't leave when asked after ignoring our no solicitor signs. I called Axiom and they said this was a non issue and I was overreacting. This experience ensured we will never consider using Axiom's services & will certainly be telling my friends and neighbors to do the same.

Last year we started a pest control contract with Valor Pest Control. We opted for the quarterly…read moreservice which is perfect for our situation. This year, we had our quarterly service in March. The professionalism has always been outstanding and it's rare for us to see bugs after treatments and when we do see them, it's generally ants. We've had a much wetter than usual spring and when we started seeing ants again, we called Valor. It wasn't our usual contract appointment, but nonetheless we explained our ant problem and they responded with a courtesy service the next day. Next day service is exceedingly rare. Their employee, Reuben arrived spot-on the time we were told to expect him. He said something that really struck me as premier customer service when he said, no matter that we sprayed in March, I am here to do whatever is needed to control your pest issues. His friendliness, professionalism and knowledge of the products he was using were impressive. He listened intently and asked questions while I walked him around the trouble areas and then he went to work. This young man is an outstanding ambassador for Valor Pest specifically and a credit to the pest control industry in general.
