    Classic lime frozen margarita

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A sweet authentic Mexican spot! It really feels like you could be in Mexico when you walk in![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Don't expect a fancy and done up spot, this is a decent establishments with decent Mexican food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The margaritas are amazing. They taste very fresh and delicious! I got the steak fajita and tamale. It was all great but my one comment is that the steak was tough to chew, otherwise, it was all delicious and this is a solid place to go for Mexican food. I definitely would go back for the margaritas.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was good, easy parking. Our only complaint was based off miscommunication. When we sat down, we asked for a drink menu and he said they didn't have one. So we asked him what they had - we knew we wanted margaritas haha! He said they had it and we asked how much. He told the table "I don't know, like $10" and we asked him what kind of margs they had. He said mango and peach, so we ordered two. Not sure what was going on but he seemed unsure, maybe new employee, or maybe a bad day? Another person came over, really sweet girl. She said they only had enough mix for mango so we asked again what flavors. She said strawberry so we got two more. She came back with three VERY LARGE margs. I felt like we were in heaven. Well, that's when the bill came. We were shocked that the margs were $18 and paid almost $60 for drinks - one friend mentioning we should have just ordered a pitcher! Had we been told it was $18, we would haven't ordered them at all and gotten something else. I really wish they either had a menu, given us the $10 margs, or the girl and guy server communicated together. No ones fault but just know these margs are $18...

Still love this place for some good papusas or Salvadoran breakfast. We came by specifically for that. The combination of eggs, chorizo, beans, plantains , avocado, cheese and fresh tortillas is just perfect. I always enjoy the fresh chips and salsa, which tends to fill me up. The horchata is probably one of my favorites in the area.

Great chips and salsa. We were provided two different types of salsa and was told that one was their spicy one. However, I don't think either of them are spicy. I'll never complain about complimentary chips and salsa, as this is often how I'll judge a Mexican restaurant. BOMB salsa is always important. My attempt to have a healthy lunch was getting the chicken salad, which comes inside a deep fried shell LOL. I'll admit that I ate the entire salad, along with the taco shell. J Great dining experience overall. I'll gladly come back for another meal. Fair prices, great service and large parking lot. Can't beat it.

Craving a chimichanga and decided to try Ay Jalisco out. Although smaller than usual/I would have liked, the chimichanga came with a good amount of shredded beef that was tender and had good flavor to it. The burrito was fried well and not greasy. Side of rice was standard. Enjoyed the charro beans, which were tender and had a flavorful broth. Also tried the yuca con chicharron and beef taquitos. Was not a fan of the yuca at all. Was pretty bland and seemed undercooked. The chicharron on the other hand was on point. Crispy and meaty! I'd skip the taquitos as the meat was pretty dry/somewhat rough. Overall Ay Jalisco was a decent place to get Tex Mex from. My delivery arrived pretty quickly and food was still hot when it got to my door. Don't think this restaurant wille be my go to when I'm craving Tex Mex/chimichanga, but I'd give it another try and order other items off their memu.

Pretty average Mexican food, could use some personal attention to spices, sauces and sides which would help. Busy nights service can be slow, but their great drinks make waiting worthwhile.

The customer service was impeccable. My husband and I came in and the staff welcomed us with open arms. They were truly accommodating. I love horchata and theirs were simply the greatest. We ordered Salvadoran enchiladas, which were packed with fresh ingredients and flavor. It was also nice they gave me my food when it was ready first. Our server/bartender said they didn't want the baby to wait lol. Im 9 months pregnant. He offered food recommendations for us as well and making sure I can have the food without it upsetting my stomach. Very thoughtful. My husband got the Mexican steak and he thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the extra care in the staff and delicious food that will make it an easy decision for us to return after baby has arrived! Thank you so much!

The car was still warm having just returned home from work. "Let's eat out, whaddya say?" She answered "Let's not drive far okay?" So back into the warm car we went. Three blocks away was all it was - We opted to eat inside as it was a bit too chilly at 28 degrees on the deck. The wife ordered their POLLO ENCEBOLLADO - Chicken breast sauteed with onions, tomatoes and green peppers, served with rice, beans and salad. So good! I ordered their "Chefs Recommendations" - Butterfly shrimp, chicken, beef fajitas served with rice, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream and tortillas. So so good! We've loved this place for years!

You order at a counter and are given a number to display at your table. Our food took only a few minutes to arrive. The server also brought over a box holding three salsas in squeeze bottles. The green salsa was pretty mild and the orange one was super hot. The dark one was, I think, chipotle. I didn't care for the chipotle. The tacos looked great and were each pretty packed with ingredients. Pollo tacos - I thought the chicken was a bit dry and, because of that, disappointing. Veggie - The veggie were filled with cooked onion, mushroom and peppers. Although they were well prepared and held a lot of veggies, there was no seasoning, so the taste was pretty flat/boring. I had to rely on adding guac and some salsa for flavor. I was hoping the veggie would have some flavor without having to rely on sauces. Al Pastor - was very good. Guacamole - comes "market price". The side we got was $3, which I think was a good value. The guac was flavorful and was a nice portion. I am glad I had it to supplement the disappointing Veggie taco and the dryness of the Pollo. The corn tortillas were good. The place is nice and comfortable.

Finally back in town where they make REAL tacos!!…read more Listen... after being away and surviving on what Vegas calls tacos, coming back home and hitting Jazmin's Cuisine felt like a full cultural reset. One bite and I remembered exactly why Maryland's Latin cuisine stands on business. The tacos? Packed with flavor, seasoned like somebody's abuela was in the back making sure it was done right. Fresh toppings, tender meat, and tortillas that tasted like they actually matter. No shortcuts. No playing around. And let me be clear -- Jazmin hits WAY harder than Chipotle. Not even the same conversation. This is the kind of food that reminds you what authentic is supposed to taste like. Vegas couldn't touch this if they tried. If you want real flavor, real culture, and real tacos... stop scrolling and pull up. Jazmin understood the assignment.

The portions are HUGE -- they definitely are not stingy with fillings. The burrito was packed and super satisfying. I also tried both the green sauce and the red spicy sauce, and both were really good. Also, I got fries on the side and they were a little soggy, but still decent. I ordered the kids enchilada for my cousin, but they gave us a quesadilla instead. It was pretty small, so that part was a little disappointing. That being said, the quantity of food for the price is insane and the burrito portions alone make it worth it. I would definitely go back!

I have had 2 successful and delicious 5 star meals at this location. Both times prior to this time, we ate inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, take out orders don't seem to get the same care and attention. First, let me say the food was very good. But, my order had issues as soon as I arrived. We asked for the spicy sauce to be taken off our fish tacos. Luckily, the hostess who took the order noticed right away, that it was made incorrectly. So, it had to be redone. We asked for pico de gayo to replace the sauce and the fish tacos were drowned in the pico. It should have been placed on the side. We were charged $1 for every salsa sauce we ordered. When you eat in the restaurant it is given freely. The chips were served cold. When, I called and asked about it, I was told these were changes that had been made last month. We enjoyed the carne asada tacos with the avocado crema. They were delicious. My grandkids loved the Spanish rice. We also really liked the tacos Al pastor. The pork and pineapple are a tasty and flavorful combination. These were great. So, was it a total loss? No, not at all..we enjoyed a lot of the meal, but when you are paying $80 for a take out dinner, you want that attention to detail that you receive when dining at the restaurant. I will definitely be back, but I will be eating inside the restaurant. That, way, I can get my margarita too.

Parking was easy with a large garage right next to the restaurant, which made it especially convenient before heading to a show nearby. When we walked in, the bar was packed with people watching the game, and it had a fun, lively atmosphere. It definitely looked like a great place to catch a sporting event. The service was excellent from start to finish. The owner even came over to introduce himself, which was a really nice touch and made us feel welcome. The chips and salsa were good, just what you'd hope for at a quality Mexican restaurant. We ordered the shrimp fajitas, regular fajitas, and a couple of quesadillas from the kids menu. Even though the menu says it's for kids 8 and under, they were happy to let our slightly older kids order from it. It was a fantastic value, although I'd recommend it more for kids around 12 and under based on the portion sizes. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful, but the standout was definitely the homemade tortillas. They were outstanding. I also asked for a hot sauce, and they brought out a fresh green sauce that completely elevated the meal. I'm not sure exactly what was in it, but it was incredible. Great food, friendly service, easy parking, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'd definitely come back and would highly recommend Rango's to anyone looking for excellent Mexican food in Virginia.
