First time trying Taco de Birria. They are located in the cut by the Giant. You can easily miss them but don't sleep on them. My friend and I had a taste for tacos so we thought we should try this place. I am always in that area and always wanted to try them so why not. The food was great. I ordered the carne asada quesadillas and my friend ordered the carne asada burrito bowl. Both had great flavor. The meat was cooked to the right temperature and had great seasoning. I only wish the tortilla for the quesadilla was cooked a little more. I would have enjoyed a good crunch. The burrito bowl was delicious as well. Very filling but not too heavy. The service was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made sure that we had everything we needed. The ambiance was cool. Was happy with the burrito size and that they packaged sauces to go with. Be aware that the prices on the menu boards are no longer accurate and that you need to look at the paper menus instead. I wanted some birria tacos and didn't want to go all the way to Virginia. This place popped up in my search and it looks newer so I thought I would put it to the test. WOW... Some great birria tacos! Finally a place in Maryland I can go to! You get three tacos with pico de gallo on top and a side of rice. It was A LOT of food, I was full by two tacos. I also tried the guac and chips. They tasted really fresh and the guac was the chunky kind. It comes in a little cup but it was really hard to eat in there so I had to pour it on to something. It seems they are new and still figuring things out like the table beepers didn't work and they originally forgot to give me consume, but these are little things. I'll definitely be back when I get another birria taco craving. They seem to do a lot of takeout instead of dine in which makes sense in that area. This is the secret garden for authentic tacos. The food was excellent. What's even better is that for people that don't eat shellfish -none is sold here! So I don't have to worry about cross-contamination like I do eating from the taco trucks. The service was professional, friendly, and fast. I had beef and chicken barria tacos. And they made them without cheese! Those tacos were so good and!! That's sauce was everything!!! The staff was very accommodating to my dairy allergies. They also make bowls as well if you don't want their delicious tacos. They have a separate table where you can pick up lime water and utensils. The store itself was very clean. Not the best tacos! Was in the area and looked up taco spots and this place popped up. Apparently I had it bookmarked. It was pretty empty. I was literally the only customer. Hmmm! I placed an order for three grilled chicken tacos. I was asked if I wanted the housemade shells or regular tortillas. I went with the regular tortillas. I did ask about the housemade tortillas, but I think the language barrier was an issue. I took my order to go. The tacos were ok. The meat was way too salty for my liking. I was looking for good tacos in the area. Taco de Birria was one of the places recommended. I ordered through Uber Eats. I chose the carne asada burrito with cilantro, green peppers, and onions with an order of churros. The burrito was filled to the max. The meat was seasoned to perfection. The one issue I had, was the dryness of the burrito. I didn't see an option in the menu to add salsa, sour cream, or any sauce. It may have been an oversight on my part. The churros were delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more. My son and I shared a few things to test this place out. I easily placed an order online for pick up. The order was ready on time and the shop was bright, modern, and adorable. Our birria burrito was awesome. Our tacos were good, but we realized we need to eat them at the restaurant next time because the meat was so juicy the tortillas started to fall apart on us by the time we started eating them. A new place by my work! Hopefully third time is the charm for this location. Curious, how this places does since Taco Bamba is about two traffic lights away. I ate for lunch and I was quite impressed! Never had tacos birria style. I believe it was the owner or manager, he helped us with the menu and it helped us alot on what to order. The tacos itself, the cheese is melted in and the meats are stared with lots of juices. It was very tasty. I added some pico di gallo, cilantro, and some more cheese to my tacos. It was so good! They also have bowl and burrito and quesadilla options too. They don't have a soda fountain so you have order drinks via bottles. I did see they did have juices but also soft serve ice cream! I'm in town for work for 12 weeks. My first week here I couldn't find anything decent to eat at all. Finally!! I've been here 3 times this week already. The Birria tacos are perfect. Great flavor, nice crisp taco so it's not soggy after dunking it. The topping are fresh, the beef seasoned perfectly. On day one I also got the churros and a horchata. Both were delicious. I've also gotten the carne Asada burrito and the pollo quesadilla. The service is good, and to the point. Very quick. Everyone is friendly. If you're dining in the music might be a little loud at times for your liking, but I enjoyed it. Better than eating in the hotel room. We stepped into Taco de Birria since we were in the area. The place is clean and has a lot of lighting. The customer service can get better. We initially order our food in the front (1st lady) and you have to walk to the back to pay. We ordered a Al pastor burrito bowl and birria tacos. 2 drinks and a side of chorizo with guacamole. The Second Lady tells the gentleman what our order is and we pay. We waited about 15-20 minutes. There was a family before us. I see the (2 lady) in the front bring out the chorizo and I'm thinking it's my order but the (2 lady) said no that's not for you. My husband and I just looked at each other and we let it be. The 2 lady asks what I wanted on my bowl when I told the 1 lady. As I am telling her the 1st lady's says where is her choriza and guacamole? She looks at me and looks at the family before me. That was my order! The 2 lady looks at the gentleman and they both look at me like ops... the 2nd lady was going to walk over to the family to tell them that's not their order. I said that's fine but I don't want that if they took it. The gentleman looks at me and apologizes and said I'm sorry we gave your order to the family before you. If you want I can make one for you but it will take about 20 minutes or so... to me he looked like he didn't want to make the order but clearly the communication between the two ladies was not good. My husband asked if we were charged and we weren't. We took out food and it was alright. The rice needed more flavor. The al pastor was dry. I can't say I love it. The horchata I've had better. I drove by this spot before they opened and was pumped to see another birria place in the area. When I walked in, the kitchen was clean and organized, but I did notice a bit of a mess--looked like a customer let their kid go wild in the high chair, with crushed tortilla chips all over the floor. Thankfully, one of the employees was already on top of it, cleaning up the mess. I went for the combo with rice, 3 tacos, and the consomé. The rice and tacos were fresh and delicious--definitely hit the spot. The soup was good, though it didn't have any chunks of meat like I expected. The flavor was solid, and it had just the right kick from the jalapeños (I didn't feel the heat until I bit into one, though). First time here and the experience and food couldn't have been improved. Must've come at the right time because the place was empty but over the next 30 mins several patrons came through to eat in or take away. Ambience was clean, spacious, and not overly decorated. There is a TV on but for background distraction I guess because honestly the music wouldn't allow you to hear it. Oh but my friend agreed the DJ was fire (jk, not a real one but the streaming playlist was good). We ordered the fish tacos (tilapia battered), veggie taco, two quesadillas (one cheese, one meat not pictured), guacamole and chips, and some crispy pork thing that idk the name of because it's not on the online menu. She also tried the tamarind drink and said it was the good stuff. Everything was good really, the fish was cooked upon ordering and the portion size was great, and tbh we ordered a bit too much food but we weren't sure what to expect and the prices were reasonable so we took a chance. The salsa and fish sauce behind the counter were delish. Will definitely come back and try other items. Also, we almost went to Taco Bamba in the other shopping center nearby but didn't feel like fighting for parking so it was a relief the food here didn't disappoint. After moving back to the area after many years in the Bay Area, I was really missing our local taquerias. It took a year and a half to find this place and it really reminded me of the west coast locations. (Especially the chorizo and the chips.) Kind staff, great clean atmosphere with good music. Tacos shells were cooked and crisped perfectly rather than just made with a flimsy cold soft shell or a premade hard shell. Birria ramen was even surprisingly good. Id recommend the tacos more though. read more

I tried Taco de Birria today. The place is similar to other Mexican fast food places where you stand in line. I bought the birria quesadilla with chips and guacamole. I asked for sour cream and they gave me two tiny cups without asking me if I wanted it as a purchased side and they didn't charge me. The sour cream turned out to be liquid and I did not eat it. The quesadillas were on corn tortillas; there were two of them. They had a lot of shredded beef and were literally dripping with grease. There was some cheese in them, but not much. I didn't finish them. The chips were also a little greasy, but not bad. The guacamole had big chunks of avacado and was excellent. I also tried the horchata, which I order frequently from other places, but it was much sweeter than I expected with less of the spiced flavor I am used to. The music playing was Reggaeton. The FOX "Live Now" was playing on a TV. I paid over $20 before tip for one person. That seems like a lot for what I ordered considering that it is not a table service place. read more
