Was very disappointed in Aya medical spa after being turned away for my appointment. Let me start off by saying I've been going to this establishment religiously to get facials with Lauren . So on Friday when I was turned away I almost thought it was a joke ! I always tip 20 percent and always buy there products so I was very taken aback . We all know when you go out on the road in Atlanta It's always unpredictable as to what obstacles you may run into . So I had ran into traffic on the way to my appointment due to an accident coming down peachtree. I communicated that to whoever was the receptionist on that day 11/5/201 . I am Aware of the 15 min late policy so I was relieved when I made it there at exactly 12:15 upon arriving the receptionist told me sorry we really mean you have to be here 14 minutes before . Dumbfounded I ask is it the 15 min policy or 14 min policy ? I couldn't believe this was happening . So she says she'll go into the back and ask Lauren if she'll take me because it's been 15 min . She comes back and says she said no . I couldn't believe it !! Horrible customer service . Needless to say I will never patronize this establishment again . I booked a skin consultation only. I just finished chemo, my skin is changing daily and I wasn't sure my current products were up to the challenge. Lynn assessed my skin, asked about my current products etc. She made recommendations on how to care for my skin. She suggested some product types but didn't "push" her products on me. She offered some samples where available. I purchased several products, knowing they have a 10 day money back if you don't like them. I like my purchases thus far and can already see a difference in the texture of my skin. I appreciated her time, knowledge and that she didn't simply try to sell me all the products they carry. read more

Went to the Phipps Plaza location and the two ladies at the front barely greeted me. I specifically scheduled an appointment just for a consultation about getting a chemical peel and said that I'll most likely get the peel during the week depending on what they recommend. Apparently one of the ladies scheduled me for a peel so I barely received a consultation....just a general rant about the cost of the peel and then the lady proceeded to rub cleanser on my face.......when I told her I was only scheduled for a consultation she looked annoyed and once again started ranting about the price, wiped the cleanser away, put sunscreen on my face, gave me her card and I left. Not a very good first impression at all and I'm definitely getting a chemical peel but won't be returning here to get one. Not recommended. read more

My husband came in after being referred by a Dr friend. They gave him $800 worth of Botox injections-- and after 2 weeks there was no refining of his lines. We called for a review and all they wanted was to charge us more. They had no follow up appointments-- to check on his improvement--all they wanted was money. They wouldn't even consider the amount spent but wanted us to pay more. We do this 2x a year and never spent this much and saw better success. This spa could care less about any due diligence or standard of care. We called to remedy the situation and they mentioned they would charge us a no show fee if we didn't show for the appointment -- I guess they charge for a "follow up" I will never return and will advise my clients and friends to go elsewhere. read more

After much and thorough research I nervously booked a consult at Aya for coolsculpting. Within 15 minutes of meeting Amanda my nerves were gone! The facility is immaculate, the receptionist staff were so down to earth and friendly and checked me in and sent me back right away. Amanda KNOWS her stuff inside and out while also making me feel optimistic and realistic about what I can expect and not making me leave hating my body like I have with another plastic surgeon's med spa consult, whom I won't mention. Guess what? I had my first cool sculpting treatment today and it was cake! I mean, it was cold! For a minute. Then my "little extra pudge" got numb. I watched TV and may have nodded off. Whenever I'm in ATL for an extended stay I go to AYA Medical Spa for laser treatment. They are one of the best places for dark skin/dark hair combo. I've been going to Nishawne for my eyebrows for a few years now. She used to be with another company and I followed her to Aya. She is excellent at shaping your brows. Very professional and not like most medical spas, this has a very relaxing feel to it, as soon as you walk into the spa. I'm looking forward to having more skin rejuvenating treatments here.. I had very high expectations (and hopes) for the Halo and BBL treatments. Exceeded both! A few weeks ago, I attended a meeting with coworkers whom I had not seen since before my first treatment. Upon walking into the conference room, a coworker exclaimed, "oh my god you've had plastic surgery!" What a great confirmation that I wasn't kidding myself...it really had greatly reduced my marionette lines, reduced pores, evened out my coloring and brightened my face. I have been going to Aya med spa for their chemical peels for years and this will be the last time due to my interaction with the receptionist Kaitlyn. She was very bothered by me calling to speak with one of the estheticians when i had a question about the type of sun screen i should use. She refused to let me speak to Erica and got so nasty and mean i guess because she didnt feel like going to give her the phone & i spent $150.00 for my service!!! I had enjoyed patronizing this location before but i'd dare not go back now. I went to Aya Medical spa from September 2019 to January 2020. Lynn Jones was my esthetician and I did 2 microneedling, one BBL and one VI peel in a span of 5 months. My face actually became worse after spending so much money and getting all these treatments done. I think my skin is extremely sensitive, and instead of recognizing this and going slow, Lynn went with aggressive treatments one after the other, which worsened my skin condition more. My acne increased ten fold, my skin became extremely red and it hurt to even apply moisturizer. The staff including Lynn were extremely polite to me and they never pushed me hard to buy or get any treatment done. But after every procedure, Lynn would email me asking whether everything was fine, but when I responded to her email and asked a few after-procedure queries, she never responded on time. This made her checking back kind of useless because I needed urgent help after the procedure, and her responding to my query after 3-4 days was kind of useless. Also, Everytime I went to Aya after a gap of 1 month, Lynn kind of forgot what procedure she did on me a month bk. As my Esthetician, she should have kept a history of my procedures and what products I bought, so that she could suggest any changes, if needed. That's what I disliked most about the service at Aya. There is no personal touch in their service. It's impersonal. If you are providing a service to humans and not machines, you need to have that personal touch for people to keep coming back and also to improve your own service. It doesn't matter how polite or professional you are. I won't be going to Aya anymore and do not recommend their service. read more

AYA is fabulous. Lynn has done everything from laser hair removal to facial lasers for me. She is wonderful- so kind, helpful, & knowledgeable. Highly recommend AYAMed spa. They're extremely professional and have the latest in all equipment. I was going to a Dermatologist's office for hair removal and in SO much pain. I came here and they had a state of the art machine and my pain was completely tolerable. I'm now hairless where I want and happy as can be.
