Aya only hires the best. I'm convinced that Allison is the best aesthetician & Mike the best Clinician (injectables) ever. They both know how to think outside the box for atypical clients like me. Allison is a melasma & adult acne genius. She's always there to help & give advice, even when I make the mistake of using another med spa. I absolutely swear by the Melanage Peel for melasma. It's magic. Allison is also highly trained & extremely knowledgeable with top of the line laser treatments including the phenomenal Halo. & Mike!!! He is the only reason I can do any injectables. Before Mike, I had nothing but bad reactions to typical injection techniques. I would bruise horribly from Botox & scar/break out from fillers. Mike's injection techniques are brilliant & leave absolutely NO BRUISING OR SCARRING OR BREAKOUTS! He never pushes any extra treatments & only makes recommendations for the areas you're personally concerned about. He uses less Botox with better results compared to the other med spas I've been to. Ok, so I usually don't do reviews but I had to in this case. I wanted a new look going into 2013 so I recently ventured out of my comfort zone and got eyelashes. I didn't know much about lashes but I knew I wanted something natural looking. I didn't know if that was possible. A friend recommended Vivia with Chameleon Lashes. My experience was absolutely wonderful and I'm so in love with my lashes! Vivia was so patient with my barrage of questions. She took such great care of me and I'm so appreciative. This is to review a new product that Aya Day Spa is using for facial lines. I was told it is one of only two facilities in Atlanta to have the product called Belletero - a new facial filler designed for fine lines around eyes and mouth. It was recommended by my dermatologist, so I decided to try it. First off, the filler has no lidocaine in it, so it is extremely painful to have administered. The technician said she had over 5 years' experience in giving filler shots. Normally, Juvederm or Restylane takes about 15-20 min. to administer. This product took 1.5 hours! My appt. was at 10 am and I left at 11:30 a.m.According to the technician, the area had to be "pinched" with the needle several times to build up scarring so the product would "take". Then, after "pinching" the product is administered. I had brow lines, crows feet lines at sides of eyes and lines around mouth done. A lot of pressing the product into the face after jabbing with the needle is necessary, and this is very painful. Bruising is one of the side effects, and I have NEVER been bruised this badly--not even from a lower facelift. I looked like someone hit me several times in the face. Bruising was widespread and extremely red/purplish. Had I not used Cardeaux cover up, I would not have been able to go out in public. This is the worst brusing I've had with a filler. Normally, there is a little bruising where the needle is inserted; this was phenomenal bruising! It is almost one week and I am still horribly bruised, and frankly, I don't see one bit of difference between Juvederm or Restylane and this product which is new in from Europe. If you are into torture, this is the filler for you! Personally, I'd NEVER use this product again. I'm not sure if the administration of this product was a technique used by this particular technician, or if it is normal protocol for Belletero, but I won't be going back to her to find out if she's any better with any other product. read more

I went to this Aya in November when my skin was the worst it has EVER been. When I mean bad, my neck had broken out too. I've never had such a bad skin experience, so I had to do something about it quick! I tried doing my own research to get a chemical peel, but they recommended me not to get one yet. (Sorry I forgot her name) she told me to use a daily regimen of products. I was very skeptical at first. So 3 months in my face has never looked better! I took pics along the way to see the improvement & WOW. Expensive products ($400 worth) but they did the job. read more
