1 Star I've stopped…read moreat a lot of Love's locations over the years as a professional driver, and this was by far one of the worst experiences I've had. After fueling, I pulled my truck away from the fuel island and into the staging area so I could run inside and grab a drink. There were no trucks waiting behind me, several pumps were open, and I was not blocking anyone from fueling. While I was already inside the store, my truck was called out over the PA system and I was told to move it. What made the situation ridiculous was that another driver was still parked at Pump 17, inside buying food and socializing, yet apparently that wasn't a problem. Nobody called his truck over the intercom. When I addressed the issue, a tall female employee wearing an earpiece spoke to me in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner. Instead of treating a paying customer with basic respect, she chose to yell and act confrontational. If there was a concern, it could have been handled professionally. Instead, it felt like I was being singled out for no reason. The problem isn't that I was asked to move my truck. The problem is the blatant double standard and the disrespectful way I was treated. Professional drivers spend a lot of money at Love's and help keep these locations in business. The least we should expect is to be treated with courtesy and consistency. Management needs to take a hard look at how customers are being treated at this location. Based on this experience, I'll think twice before stopping at Store #687 again.

For people traveling through and for us folks who live here and don't want to drive 30 miles to have someone make dinner! I came here tonight after ordering a large pizza, and decided I wanted a sandwich for myself. Jonah made me this beautiful sandwich and it was perfection! Sandwich artist of southeast Iowa! Our pizza was made quickly and given 2 thumbs up by the ones who devoured it in no time at all! Great job! Fun environment and happy team working together!

In podunk... not far outside Indianapolis ... there is nothing around accept an asphalt company and corn fields... across the hwy is a small town (Woodhull) I looked on maps and there is a bar and grill and a subway, 2 miles away ... I'm not that ambitious.... the Flying J tho is clean inside and the staff is very nice... there is no restaurant amenity inside like subway or Denny's which would be nice but, nope... the coffee is good ... lol and the showers were clean ... I read on another review about the water and it wasn't that bad... I used my own shampoo maybe that was why they couldn't get it all out... lol .. it is quiet here lots of parking good for a 10 hour layover but 34 is pushing it... all in all not that bad tho
