The best Indian food I have ever had. The lamb chops are incredible. The gravy in the shrimp makhni was addictively good. The eggplant bharta was also a highlight. It has long been said that India features the finest, most delicate food in the eastern world. I would tend to agree with this sentiment. I have tried nearly every Indian restaurant in the greater Miami area and can definitely say that Ayesha is on to something truly special. I began the meal with the classic samosas. The moist mixture of potato and pea, gently hugged in a warm flaky crust. Upon the first bite the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. I looked across the table at my wife. She is not an emotive women but I could tell she was in pure bliss. Next came the tikka masala. A rich burgundy color in appearance with a nutty aroma dancing along the base of my nose. I took a deep breath in and shuddered. I was almost scared to taste the chicken, lest it leave me disappointed. Hesitantly, I put the chicken into my mouth, and closed my eyes, allowing the Tikka masala sauce to take over. I could barely handle the sensation. I felt almost guilty eating this chicken. The food was delicious and the prices were moderate. The server was incredibly nice and accommodating, but very slow - maybe because we ate outside so he didn't see things like empty water glasses. I will probably go back because the food was really good, and most Indian food in Miami is overpriced anyway so you can't avoid that. But I'll make sure to knowing it will take a while to get my food, etc. My husband enjoyed their rasmalai (dessert) which isn't available everywhere - another reason to go back. read more

The food was fantastic, taste, temperature and texture were all great. We went for lunch and the Samosas, lettuce wraps and MANGO MOUSE were outstanding. The cream and nut chicken was the least spicy and the Vindaloo chicken was on fire! My only negative comment is that for being the only occupied table in th restaurant the table could have been cleared more often (actually it barely was). Oh and the NAAN, to die for! As an Indian i always love exploring Indian restaurants during my trips to other cities. We searched for a good Indian restaurant in Miami and found this one. The food is ok, we ordered chicken roganjosh and they gave us grilled chicken breast cut into pieces into a gravy. While I give a good rating to the gravy but thats definitely not a way to prepare Indian chicken dish where the chicken is not cooked in the gravy(masala). Rice served was good. Naan was good. Pricey for the quantity and quality of food. Its more americanized and I may ask my american friends to try this place but for my indian friends its a no no. Among vegeterian items we tried dal makhani, paneer tika masala which were not bad. I will not visit this restaurant again. I give it a 2.5 out of 5. read more

One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in a long time! The ambience was great... Really liked the outdoor seating! The food was great too and was freshly made, which I do not see much in most Indian restaurants. We ordered tandoori lamb chops which were well made and succulent... Not all leathery! For main course, we had lamb rogan josh and seekh kabab with rice. Special mention to lamb rogan josh... The curry was fresh and had the right spices. My wife and I have eaten in many top Indian restaurants. This is one of the best Indian meals we have had. I had the chicken Tikka Masala. It was flavourful and tender, as was my wifes dish.The service was great. My wife had ordered a Chardonnay, which she did not like. When the server was advised, without a beat, he removed it, suggested another one and brought it forthwith. I made the mistake of offering my wife a taste of my mango mousse. solidly good indian food! the owner was kind enough to offer us something off the menu, curried mahi mahi. i was pleased with the basmati rice, fragrant with cilantro, and the chicken korma was chock full of subtle, yet multifaceted flavors. i do believe this is one of the better eateries on the island! the naan, however, needed a few minutes more in the oven. i wish they had had poori to sop up their wonderfully rich curry sauce. may ayesha remain alive and well! read more

Let me start by saying the staff were very friendly. We were disappointed with the quality of the food. We ordered Chicken Tikka which on the menu was described as a whole chicken cooked in a tandoor oven. What arrived at the table was a one-legged-breastless mini chicken consisting of five small medallions that were overcooked. They made us feel welcome, and were very attentive, which you don't always encounter in Miami restaurants. They suggested my daughter oder off the menu, and she ordered their butter chicken. It was hot n crunchy just the way we expected and paneer tikka masala with garlic naan was extremely delicious. They were generous to offer us a free desert called mango moose ,we were too full and had no room for desert . We just had a spoon of it n couldn't stop eating until the bowl was empty . You'd never notice notice this place in a small strip mall wedged between a resortwear store and an office. The owner and chef himself greeted us, and invited us to try the cuisine, touting this is the best Indian food in Miami. Food lived up to the claim. Palak paneer was not overly cheesy and fresh. All garnishes chutneys and sauces were made from scratch. The classic chicken tikka masala was fantastic and not overly salty. Naan melted in our mouths, and the lemon garlic rice I could have eaten as a main entree. Highly recommended. read more
