Their tasting menu is designed for everyone to try different things on the menu. They cover everything from appetizers to desserts. For the price point, it is a very good deal and worth every penny. They use high quality ingredients. I got their butter chicken sandwich for to go. It was just perfect! So delicious. In my opinion the best thing on the menu is sticky date cake. Ghee Wynwood is my favorite Indian restaurant! This location is especially great because it has a full bar with so many unique and delicious cocktails, plus an amazing happy hour. My favorite entrée is the chicken tikka masala, and I absolutely love the Truffle and Brie naan with the mango chutney. The ghost pepper cheddar naan with the apple chutney is another must-order if you can handle the spice. During happy hour, the tikka fries and charred corn are two of my favorite dishes. For dessert, the sticky date cake is my go-to, but if you're looking for something lighter, the chai ice cream sandwiches served on a traditional Indian cookie are perfect for sharing. The service and atmosphere make my whole experience so much better. The restaurant is beautiful inside, and everyone is always so kind and welcoming. If you are a fan of Indian food, this place is a must. We had chat samosas for appetizer, so flavorful. I ordered a potato Dosa It was not only delicious but a very generous portion with two sauces. On weekends they have a terrific lunch menu for a great price. You get a curry (many to choose from) rice, salad and a dessert. The drinks were great. So I know I'm SOOPER late, but we FINALLY made it out to Ghee Wynwood. It's wild because I was there for their grand opening in the Dadeland location, but just never made an effort to check out their Wynwood location and that was a total slip up! The space is absolutely beautiful and vibey. Super chill. You can tell that they put thought and effort into designing the space. The food and drinks are phenomenal as well as one would come to expect with anything Chef Niven puts his name on. And the service was absolutely phenomenal as well. From the moment we stepped in to when we were seated (no wait) we had drinks and food coming our way in the blink of an eye. They have a bomb happy hour as well. I know locals don't go to Wynwood too much anymore, but make plans to go and check out Ghee! Oh. And Mikey is the best. Samosas were a little salty but delicious anyway. Garlic nom was different it had a paste of garlic instead of oil with garlic a little different than what I'm used to but was good prefer the other style. A Bib Gourmand restaurant - Ghee Indian restaurant , a popular Indian fusion joint was worth a visit and I'm glad to have gotten a reservation. Parking was a breeze since they had attached garages with validated parking. Pretty expensive restaurant with a brief menu and not-so-great ambiance for an expensive menu. I should appreciate that the decor was raw, like exposed pipes, unfinished wood furnishing, stainless steel vintage utensils, cooking ingredients, etc. Service was a tad slow. My order: Tamarindo Backyard Pakora Garlic Naan Paneer tikka masala Seasonal fruit lassi Loved the cocktail with the twist of tamarind to the whiskey! I think that caused my expectations to be high, but i've experienced top tier homemade indian food before so it's honestly hard to top that. We came in with the plan to try the tasting menu only to be told that option is only available during dinner time -fyi. so instead we basically ordered most of the items on the tasting menu which would've equated to almost equal value in cost. Monday tasting menu! TLDR: worth a try! The Wynwood location is more spacious than south Miami and all indoor thankfully. We tried this restaurant for the first time on Thursday evening. We were a party of 5. The ambiance is nice but the service needs work. We started with their $65 per person tasting menu where they serve you 13 dishes. The food was delicious but two times we waited long for our chutneys, drinks and then dessert. As someone who absolutely loves Indian food. It's easily in my top three cuisines. I was excited to try this restaurant after hearing great things. The space is beautiful with a cozy vibe, located in Wynwood. We were warmly welcomed by the staff. They also offer a Miami Spice menu, which is a nice bonus. I ordered my usual chicken tikka masala with basmati rice and naan. The naan was delicious, but the tikka masala was just okay. It was very salty, a little too spicy for my liking and lacking the bold, rich flavors I expect from Indian curry. It wasn't horrible, just a bit mediocre compared to others I've tried. I found it unfortunate that you couldn't select your preferred spice level as they only have one option, which surprisingly was mild. Overall, it's a decent spot, but for truly great Indian food, I still recommend Bombay Darbar in Fort Lauderdale or Miami. It's still my go-to. read more

Our group dined at Ghee Indian Kitchen in Wynwood, sharing the Miami Spice menu. We ordered the papaya salad which was refreshingly zesty, the yellow fin tuna was delicately flavorful (as someone who does not eat raw fish I can highly recommend it), and the samosa chaat, one of our favorite dishes, bursting with vibrant flavors from crispy samosas and tangy chutneys. The chicken tikka masala was rich and perfectly spiced, the turmeric marinated fish tender and nuanced, and the Kerala lamb bold and aromatic, while the sticky date cake and mango tarte offered a sweet finish. The mango tarte reminded us of a Persian dessert, sohan. A huge plus was the spicy level of the foods. They were prepared mild and at each guests request they would make it spicy. This highly hype Indian restaurant on Instagram without of trying during our visit to Miami. The ambience was really good. We went during the lunch hour. It was almost empty just with guest and two or three tables. We called this place 7-8 times and no one answered and then finally after so many tries someone picked up the phone cause we wanted to make sure that this restaurant is open and and if we need to make a reservation because we were planning to eat here before heading to the airport. Anyways we went there. The lunch menu was pretty limited, but the server told us there are more options, which were obviously not on the menu, but she was telling us verbally. We ordered Dal Makhani, chana masala and palak paneer with Ghee naan and garlic naan. We also ordered one tamarin drink. The food was good, not great as it was a little different from the typical favors of all these dishes. I love the tables that had ivory design. So, this is a Nouvelle Indian restaurant. However, when I want good Indian, I think tradition and certainly not modern and light. You end up not getting either at Ghee. It is a small subset of the classic Indian menus and the dishes just don't work. The breads and curries are bland, the tandoori chicken was not memorable and for some reason they do not have Gulab Jamun on the menu, but the waiter whispered that they do indeed have it. What? When you walk in the place feels authentic beautiful tables and lighting, I was a bit confused by the music and ambience they were shooting for, one minute it was rap and the next It was romantic music.. so not sure what's going on there. **Vegetarian Friendly** I was definitely surprised by the number of vegetarian options available in Wynwood, because the Dadeland location has less (similar but different menus!). Stunning interior (no outdoor seating available). Loved the colors, aesthetics, and ambiance of this place! The service was prompt, but could be slightly faster. The bummer was they forgot to bring out one of our dishes. We considered doing the Vegetarian Tasting Menu, but opted to do family-style which turned into our own Tasting Menu. Our Order: (1) Green Papaya Salad - delicious! Sweet, spicy, tangy, crunchy. Everything was blended so well together. (2) Crispy Broccoli - delicious! Spin on a traditional Gobi Manchurian, but liked the broccoli way more! Great flavor, crunchy, delicious. (3) Mushroom Momo - delicious! I'm not a fan of mushrooms, but this was delicious. The mushroom flavor is subtle. Be sure to order naan to soak up the extra sauce. (4) Backyard Pakora - delicious! Not your standard pakora dish, but is very similar to a Gujarati dish of pathra. (5) Chili Paneer - delicious! Great indo-chinese spread of flavors. (6) Yukon Dosa - delicious! Crunchy with a unique potato filling. (7) Cauliflower Kabob - SKIP!! This was not a kabob, but instead half a head of charred cauliflower. We were expecting a tandoor style cauliflower but not what came out! The lemon rice and kachumber served with it were delicious though. (8) Vegetable Kofta - delicious! Similar to malai kofta, but this was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. (This is not on the online menu) (9) Garlic Naan - kind of a disappointment compared to the rest of the food. The naan was on the side of a flatbread versus a traditional naan. (10) Ghost Pepper Cheddar Naan - this was spicy!!! So good though. But we'd appreciate a non-cheese option because it was too much cheese. Ghee is one is the last additions to the dining scene in Wynwood. It was one of those nights that I worked until late and when I realized it was too late to cook something for dinner, so I went the easy/fast way, Uber Eats. To my surprise, I found Ghee and they had a BOGO offer for chicken tika masala. The chicken was so soft. I like they seared the chicken before adding it to the sauce. This makes a difference for sure in taste. The sauce was balanced and the level of spiciness was as requested, medium. Often times the level of spiciness is a hit or miss at Indian restaurants, but at Ghee they got it right and I loved it. Guy has long been one of my favorite spots in Miami, and I have great admiration for what the owner has built. That said, my recent experience was disappointing. Although the posted closing time was 10 p.m., the kitchen actually closed at 9 p.m. With a reservation past 8 p.m., we were still eating appetizers when we were rushed into the main course, which then became cold. By 9:15, the staff began clearing tables and removing candles, which created an unwelcoming atmosphere and made us feel pressured to leave. This is surprising for a restaurant of this caliber and detracts from the sense of hospitality that should be part of a Michelin-level experience. I hope the management considers adjusting reservation times to reflect actual kitchen hours, so that guests can fully enjoy the excellent food and ambiance without feeling rushed. read more

We ordered from the happy hour menu which is refreshing for a restaurant to not only offer it but to keep the HH menu accessible and to inform guests it's available. We ordered the tuna Bhel (Indian snack mix of puffed rice and green chutney) which was delicious (not on the HH menu). Then had pani puri which was presented so well and easy to have as the filling was inside each of the puris with the mint water (savory) and the tamarind water (sweet). They have small bites on the HH menu as well. They had a tasting menu that is worth checking out with more time, since it has 13 courses..we unfortunately did not have time for that, since we had a show at 8:00pm at the Arscht. The space is expansive with contemporary and chic Indian decor..really beautiful furniture, seating, light fixtures, and classy paintings.
