The staff was attentive without being overbearing, genuinely friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. You can tell they take pride in what they're serving. I ordered a steak and the temperature was cooked perfectly -- exactly as requested. That's something a lot of places miss, but they nailed it. The sear, the tenderness, everything was spot on. The quality of the food really stands out. You can taste that they're using premium ingredients, and everything feels thoughtfully prepared rather than rushed. Pricing felt fair for the level of quality and atmosphere. You're getting a high-end experience without feeling like you overpaid. And I have to mention the chimichurri -- easily one of the best I've had. Fresh, balanced, and packed with flavor. It elevated the steak even more. It was rich, creamy, and tasted just like regular gelato even though it had no animal products. That was a nice surprise, since vegan desserts can sometimes fall short, but this one did not. The gelato is definitely on the pricier side, but that is not unexpected for Coconut Grove. The quality came close to matching the price in my view. They also give a complimentary cookie wafer with each gelato, which was a nice touch. The shop itself has a good mix of indoor and outdoor seating. It was a bit hot outside when I visited, so I chose to sit inside, which was comfortable. The staff was also very nice, which made the visit even better.
