First time was a 4/5 for all our Indo-Chinese / Southern dishes but a couple nights before we moved out of Miami it was 3/5 in terms of flavors and spice -- then we both woke up feeling sick which makes this a 1/5. It was all I ate aside from a simple homemade breakfast / snack with staples I've been using. Food was super oily. We ordered 3 different types of cauliflower; the "drier" gobi manchurian was decently wet while the other 2 were drowning. the cauliflower in all 3 was far past tender, way too soft and gross all around. We threw many things away ($300 spent on dinner, smh). The day after, I thought "ok I'll just have some of the plain rice and paneer" Nope. Woke up with my stomach in a lot of pain. Not sure what could have happened but it may serve you well to stay away from this inconsistent restaurant.

Amazing Indian food at Rasoi Indian Kitchen in North Bay Village! The chef's expertise truly shines through in every dish - the flavors are so rich and authentic! Their ability to adjust dishes to suit individual tastes is impressive. The vegan options are a game-changer! The chef's passion for Indian cuisine is evident in every bite. Definitely recommend this hidden gem to all my foodie friends Must try dishes -samosa -kebab -spinach chicken

One of the best Indian food restaurants on the beach. Good food, nice staff. Excellent for takeout or quick dining.

Great food. I am very picky about Indian food. So I am impressed with the flavor of their dishes.

Captain Jim's has the freshest seafood in North Miami…read more We often dine in, but occasionally we've also taken fish or lobsters to grill when tailgating etc., and it's always way better and fresher than what we would have picked up anywhere else. Choosing which lobster or yellowtail from the ice counter you want them to prepare, and how you want it prepared, is a fun part of the dining experience for us. Occasionally they have hog snapper or another fresh catch available. The fried lobster tail was fantastically seasoned with a little kick, and I've never had it prepared this way, chopped up into bite-sized pieces. Very filling and we could have shared one, but we still managed to devour both tails and left very full and satisfied. Each tail, including one side, was about $40 - but market price items vary based on size and weight of what's available that day. There are also plenty of less expensive options on the menu. One of my favorites is the yellowtail sandwich. And if you get there before 7:00pm you can order some oysters and lobster croquettes from the happy hour menu. Captain Jim's is a casual and comfortable restaurant with marine decor where the food is the star. Service is always friendly, helpful, and attentive.

Nothing pretentious, nothing overworked. Just solid, crave worthy dishes that remind you why simple food done well is hard to beat. The menu is dependable in the best way, with flavors that feel intentional and satisfying. Portions are generous without being over the top, and everything comes out the way you hoped it would. Service is warm, efficient, and welcoming, which somehow makes the food taste even better. It feels like a neighborhood spot even though people from all over Miami seek it out. Blue Collar is the kind of restaurant you recommend without hesitation and keep in your regular rotation. Comforting, consistent, and always a good idea.

The shrimp and grits were initially served a little warm so I asked for them to be warmed up. They came back piping hot, which I appreciated. The side of sweet potatoes was yummy and I didn't even need to use the sauce that was served along with it. The Philly with fries was a large portion and the fries were delicious. There is a parking lot in the back but looks limited.

It was always a dream of mine to visit Nobu and live out my inner Drake experience. We decided to…read morehave our mini-moon at Eden Roc so this was the time to finally splurge and try out Nobu since it's located inside. First, let's talk ambiance. The place is absolutely beautiful. Just walking in you feel like you have been exported to a Miami design Asian inspired dream. It's very dimly lit which is honestly a vibe. It's romantic and intimate. There's some chill house playing in the background. Depending on where you sit you get a view of the sushi chefs making the food so ver authentically Asian. Honestly the vibe carries a lot of the experience. Now - I was not a huge fan of our waitress. We expressed we just got married and she kind of treated it like it was just another day at the office. Which valid for her - but for us this is a special outing and I would have preferred to be treated accordingly and given some guidance as she knew it was our first time here. Definitely a big reason I knocked off a star. The drinks were DELICIOUS. I love a good cocktail that gets you tipsy, has a medley of flavors, and makes you forget that there's alcohol. So definitely I can imagine Happy Hour being lit at Nobu. Now for the food. Honestly it was 50/50 for me. Again, I'm being critical given this is a pricier experience. The Dry Miso Whitefish and the Crispy Tuna were AMAZING and enough to make me want to come again. However, the item I was most excited for was the Wagyu Dumplings and it was MID. I was like did I just pay $50 for ground beef?? It was the most expensive item and probably the worst IMO. The vegetable tempura was perfectly breaded but lacked any flavor. So overall, Nobu is a great date night experience but you need to know what to order and what to avoid so you don't just throw money out the window. And don't expect special treatment because you're spending money because everyone else is too I guess. Perhaps if we were Drake and Cardi B our experience would be different... I'm excited to try Nobu in Atlanta (our hometown) to see how the experience holds up.

I absolutely love Nobu! The fact that there's a hotel too, so fun…read more The staff has been so kind and allowed me and my coworkers to eat without a reservation! The host and manager allowed for us to have a quick bite and that really made the beginning of dinner start so well. I always order the yellowtail and my daughter loves the steak skewers. I got the "rock seabass" which is TO DIE for. The ambiance is fantastic, right next to the ocean and the energy in the room is fantastic. Bustling. It is on the pricier side but it is well worth it. Parking is found in the valet area.
