How sad, I was really hoping for something great. Service was very nice, didn't care about the primitive atmosphere but the food, yikes, it was really subpar. Imagine if you could eat out of their dumpster at the end of the night, it was sort of like that at lunchtime on their buffet. I could tell they really didn't care about what they put out. One of the sauces seemed like they added Tabasco. Choices were limited but it didn't matter because after a couple bites I didn't need anything else. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. We were very warmly greeted by the manager Helal immediately upon entry and seated. The ambiance is very calm, though honestly with how lovely this place was it should have been busier! The prices were decent and portions were very generous in my opinion. The butter chicken I ordered was scrumptious. The naan was pillow soft and buttery, in its own basket and an additionally very generous portion and size. We felt very well attended to and taken care of the entire time at this place. I recently went to Bengal Indian Cuisine for lunch. Bengal Indian Cuisine offers up 16 vegetarian options for main entrees that are cooked to order and served with basmati rice with many of these that can be made up vegan. I opted for the lunch buffet and was delighted to find that there were five vegan options available on the buffet including veg pakoras, sabji mix, chana masala, aloo shag, tadka dal, and vegetable fried rice. Majority of the chutneys were also vegan except the raita and there was also kheer for desert that had dairy. It was nice to see vegan options on the takeout menu along with a colorful tiger. The buffet is both veg and non-veg yet the abundance of vegan options made me happy. All the food was delicious and even better than the food was the service. I had a natural affinity with the waiters Eswar and Chandra. Both were from Andhra Pradesh State in India which is quite off the beaten path where most foreigners don't travel to and spent quite a bit of time there. I enjoyed sharing Indian culture with them. They both provided warm welcoming hospitality and exceptional service. The ambience here was nice. Met some locals dining and they say they come here at least once a week along with someone traveling from Israel. Bollywood videos played on the television. I have walked past this Indian spot several times so I decided to come in and give it a go. I noticed they had a lunch buffet around $20 so I saved my appetite one day to try some authentic Indian cuisines that I have not had in quite some time. The server and cooks inside are very nice and polite. I noticed on this occasion they were dealing with locals that were quite rude and demanding and the staff did a great job at not losing their cool. The food itself was an array of different dishes such as the rice biryani, tandoori chicken, samosas, and other items I can't remember but noticed they were vegetarian and looked somewhat healthy. The food itself was so so. I arrived right when the restaurant opened so I was expecting to have fresh, hot, and decadent dishes instead of that food that has sit out in the buffet far too long. The butter chicken was probably my favorite dish while the rest were a bit forgettable. I love trying local spots and want to support them as much as possible so I would like to believe I came on a bad day and will try again later on. Food and service was great. We were craving some rice after our cruise. Specifically Bengali food. This definitely hit the spot even though it was more on the Indian cuisine side. Their rasmalai is really good. Tastes like kulfi. Shrimp biryani was very tasteful! Spice level was on point in as well. Kids loved the food. The staff made sure we were taken care of. I am of Bangladeshi origin, visiting Miami, and decided to try this Bangladeshi restaurant for lunch. Unfortunately, I was utterly disappointed with their lunch buffet. First of all, there were very few items, but that's not the biggest issue. The real problem is that they don't refill the dishes. When I went to fill my plate, there were only three pieces of tandoori chicken left, and the goat and beef dishes were empty. There was no dessert either. When I asked, they said they were refilling the goat, but all they added was a bit gravy, with no actual goat pieces. They didn't even refill the rice. I requested some chicken, and they finally brought out three more pieces of tandoori chicken. This is not what a buffet should be. If you don't have enough food, just be honest about it instead of misleading customers. Additionally, as you can see from the receipt, I was dining alone (though they labeled me as a "guest"--not that they meant it). They automatically added an 18% gratuity and then handed me the receipt and pen with a space to write in an additional tip on top of the auto-added gratuity. To me, this feels dishonest. If you're already adding gratuity, you shouldn't be asking for more. And many people will not see the auto added gratuity and tip further. This is a scam. I do not have any complain against the quality of the food but I do not support dishonesty in business and scamming others. For this, I would say this was a total rip-off. I would strongly advise against their lunch buffet. read more

It was okay. Butter chicken was better. If you have buffet, tandoori chicken is great. I did not try their beef. they had beef on the buffet. Their Naan was good. Food portion is ok. Butter chicken 14.95. Dal with rice 13.95. They charge you a service fee and with taxes, I paid $70. read more

Their veggie korma was very flavorful w the right amount of spices. I had two plates before I walked it off returning to the office! But a delicious surprise - we have been craving Indian since our favorite spot closed in the design district and this place hit the spot! Honestly everything was delicious but our top favorites were: Lamb Tiki Masala, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken and the Naan was to die for. We had the garlic, cheese and regular naan and all three were great. One suggestion is once you get your order toast the Naan to add a crips to it. After constantly refreshing the site for about 20ish mins it said the restaurant had not confirmed the order yet. You all need to do better about that. Luckily the food was still warm when I got home. He seemed friendly. I am also underwhelmed by the flavor of the food. I felt less seasoning and spices on the curry side but the lentil soup was awesome, naan bread were fresh and soft though they don't have dessert on buffet you have to purchase it seperately. My husband and I moved to Miami in March 2022 and tried Raja's which is in Downtown Miami where we live and ordered from a highly recommended Indian restaurant called Bombay Darbar. Didn't like either and thankfully this restaurant met our cravings and so far is our go to. We dined here and ordered in afterwards. In my opinion if an Indian restaurant can get their daal (lentils), butter chicken and kulchas right, we know that's our spot. Highly recommend this restaurant for authentic tasting Indian food. Many delicious vegetarian options (recommend their aloo gobi matar) and really good lamb biryani, too.
