Dealing with that level of delusion and ego makes playing here exhausting. If you enjoy playing in a league where the guy running it behaves like a dictator who can never do wrong, this is the place for you. The team my son joined has been together for two years and when we joined my boy was "the new kid", but he never felt this way. We felt very welcomed from the very first practice and it's been an absolute pleasure to watch him flourish, and build friendships with the rest of the kids. The club cares more for the kids than the bottom line - in spring season the pats won 90% of the games and in some games we had to play with 6 kids (vs 7) and the boys were still winning as the coaches refused to let anyone in just for the sake of it. They make friends from all over the baseball community and at all ages. They learn baseball skills, but also to be little men, as they are responsible for their own stuff, carry their own bags, etc. My son has learned more than just baseball these summers and we are so grateful to Mark and his staff for providing him with these amazing summer (and winter break) experiences. This was, without question, one of the most unprofessional and disappointing experiences we have ever had with a youth program. The young girl running the program appeared to have little to no coaching experience. She raised her voice at the girls on the first day, made them feel uncomfortable, and even left the session unsupervised to get fast food. It was clear she was overwhelmed and unprepared to manage the group safely or effectively. Even more troubling, when I brought my concerns directly to the founder and owner of Beach Elite, I was met with complete disrespect. There was no willingness to listen, no professionalism, and certainly no accountability. This was a terrible experience for my daughter and for me as a parent. I immediately withdrew her from the program because I did not feel it was a safe or supportive environment. Parents deserve to know exactly who is running these programs and what kind of oversight (or lack thereof) exists. I would strongly caution anyone considering Beach Elite Volleyball to look elsewhere for a program that truly values athlete safety, skill development, and respectful communication.

The next year we came back as second graders and won just about every game. The conferences are divided so that there is equality amongst their weekly competitors. And the Playoffs are designed to put the top teams together in the Gold brackets and then lower teams in the Silver Brackets. Its a learning process for everyone. Overall league is ran well IMO. The refs are getting better each year. The kids love practice and especially the games. Since most of the kids all go to the same school they play football together at recess and bond as a team. By far my kid's favorite sport right now.

The people running this league really need to make some effort to even out the teams in the 1-2…read moregrade level. Our team was made up of almost all 1st graders who had never played before. EVERY team we played was stacked with obviously older and experienced players. Surely they collect info on the experience of each player. How hard would it have been to distribute the younger less experienced players among the other teams so everyone could have a positive experience at this age level. Although I'm not an actual member of this gym they treat you like one. They recognized my birthday even after not seeing Brandon for a long time I had a birthday card waiting for me. I hope my schedule allows me to become part of this community one day. Don't wish to get stronger go get stronger at this amazing gym.
